28/06/2026: Contrary to Trippy Advisory, there's no title here, but I can't resist. The Ranch(id). Bad luck dictates that we have to celebrate a 40th birthday during the holidays in Liguria. After realizing that Emilia Romagna was too far away for a dinner, we rely on Uncle Google's fences. We stumble upon this place, The Ranch. I wondered where the prairies were between Pietra Ligure and Loano, but my middle school geography teacher used to smoke cans with 3c bombers during recess and usually arrived to class looking like Uncle Carmelo at the techno after-party on August 15th... So, attributing it to fate and my own laziness, I proceed with the reservation, attracted by the typical pinsa lohana. Upon entering, I join the queue at (Cecchi) Pavone, but unfortunately it doesn't last long. I immediately recall an old sketch where the main course options were rice cake or... I don't remember, but the rice cake was sold out. Lukewarm beer on tap, parish-bar style, fried food that I suspect came from the freezer (who wants to be happy, because there's no guarantee it's from the freezer). Industrial sauces. Off-menu pinsa (we're changing the menu... Next time, tell me after coffee, not after the appetizers). I had a chili that reminded me of the leftover soup my grandmother used to make, in which you might even find a relative's fingernail clippings. Not to mention the kids' menu. 9 euros for a sandwich with an industrial sausage, advertised on the menu as a plate of artisanal sausages... The waitress was at least as nice as I was, but since no one's paying me, I have the right to be bitter. Like chili. And I like it, too, unlike chili.

05/07/2026: The pasta with clams was delicious, but it was a shame about the drink. We asked for two glasses of Prosecco, but we received a simple brut sparkling wine of poor quality and overpriced! The place is truly characteristic, right in the center.

04/07/2026: We came to eat with my family. We ordered two pizzas and two spaghetti with clams. The first pizza arrived in a timely manner. The second pizza arrived after half an hour, and the first courses after another ten minutes. Apologies are fine, but I felt mocked by the constant delays. That's not how it's done. After a long wait, they came to tell us they'd lost our order. After posting the review, I didn't like the way they stared at me in the middle of the dining room.

29/12/2025: The reviews already hint at it: the owner sets prices according to his whim, depending on whether there are tourists or not. Apparently, there's no food or drink menu. Accordingly, we were charged €16 for two Aperol Spritzes that weren't even that big.

02/06/2026: A pleasant surprise. The location isn't directly on the road, which makes it quiet, the service friendly and courteous, and the wide selection of gluten-free and non-gluten-free dishes a pleasant surprise. We also took advantage of the home delivery service, which was fast and accurate; we were notified when the delivery man was leaving. I definitely recommend it, especially to celiacs like me.

02/06/2026: Excellent experience, both in-house and delivery! We had a great time at this pizzeria: the pizza is delicious, light and well-cooked, with plenty of toppings and flavor. The location is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for enjoying the evening. The staff is also a positive: smiling, friendly, and welcoming. We also tried their home delivery service and it was super fast. Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

13/07/2026: I've had breakfast here several times, and I must say I've almost always had good croissants. Unfortunately, this morning they gave me a reheated croissant, old and truly inedible!!!!!! I left it all dismembered on the plate while trying to eat it. What makes me most angry is that the owner stopped by several times and saw the leftovers set aside, but he didn't even ask why I hadn't eaten it, and he certainly can't say he hadn't seen it. I think it was for fear of a complaint, which I wouldn't have made anyway, because they've already done the damage to themselves with such unprofessional behavior. It's a shame, and I definitely won't recommend it to anyone again.

31/05/2026: We arrived after booking a table for 22, divided into five separate tables, two of which were on a sloping sidewalk. The waitress was rude, and the food was truly awful: overcooked, unsalted, and the fish was frozen. I honestly expected more from a seaside restaurant.

29/06/2026: I don't understand the negative reviews about the quality of the ingredients. The fish is very fresh and tasty. I especially recommend the tuna steak; it's a real treat for the palate. If I had to find anything negative, I'd say be careful with the dishes; 2 out of 3 were a bit chipped.

02/06/2026: The outrageous price of €13.90 for two cappuccinos, a brioche, and a medium-quality krapfen (where are we in Venice or Portofino?), the service was lacking, the place was anonymous, and the welcome and friendliness were lacking. Not recommended!

07/03/2026: An unpretentious pizzeria restaurant, but with excellent prices, very good fish, and delicious pizza. We'll definitely be back for lunch or pizza.
