04/08/2025: I was on vacation with my daughter in Pietra Ligure when we happened upon Morena Piensa E. Focaccia. Without checking the Google reviews, we just walked in – and were pleasantly surprised.
We ordered focaccia, which was really delicious. The restaurant is simple but cozy, and it was pleasant to sit outside. A lovely, uncomplicated place for a little break – highly recommended for a quick, delicious snack!

15/03/2026: We went for lunch (my husband has been there several times for work, by the way). The place was cold and humid. It's hard to understand that temperatures are still low in March. Especially when it's pouring with rain like yesterday! Eating in the cold is out of the question! Plus, two starters, two glasses of wine, a fruit dish, and a coffee cost €93.00. It's a shame because the food is very good, but I fear that Ligurians (I'm from Genoa), maybe not all of them, use the "take the money and run" method. It's only two less customers, after all!

02/01/2026: Beautiful place, we had octopus with potatoes and parmigiana, both excellent. Apple pie and coffee, served with a biscuit, rounded out our meal. A particularly positive note goes to Eva, who serves with a touch of warmth that makes you feel at home. Congratulations!!!!!
02/11/2025: Luckily, we had a jazz show coming up. We ordered a glass of wine and draft beer (they no longer had it), so we ordered a "craft" beer (which costs more). They brought us a panache and a Mongozo... (There were only 4 tables). And they took the order first from a couple who arrived later. We had the panache exchanged for the glass of wine. But the Mongozo isn't craft, the glass for both was VERY dirty, and the fries that arrived 10 minutes later were nasty. Welcoming on Halloween.

01/11/2025: A pastry shop full of sweets and candies that says "we don't have any left" to a child who comes in on Halloween night to trick-or-treat and is sent away empty-handed... We've said it all. Luckily, in Pietra Ligure, there are other shopkeepers with more empathy and sensitivity.

The cutlet is crispy and juicy, the pizza is super flavorful, and the mussels are incredibly fresh! Every bite is a real treat, and the staff makes you feel right at home. A place that warms the heart and the palate. If you're passing through Pietra Ligure, you can't miss it!
30/09/2025: Hello! We were passing by and decided to stop in. It's atmospheric, cozy, clean, and fresh. The staff includes people with disabilities. It's very nice and welcoming. The food is delicious, the meat is tender and juicy. The portions are large, but the taste and quality are not compromised. Our order included: pizza, meat, pasta, ravioli, two salads, sorbet, two ice creams, 500 ml sparkling wine, 1 liter of water, plus compliments. The bill was 80 euros. Five people tried it and were satisfied. It makes us want to come back and try new dishes. Thank you so much! Delicious, fast service, and attentive attitude. It's simply a warm place! 03/12/2025: Truly good and tasty lunches for workers, with different meals every day. Workers' prices for lunch or the à la carte menu.
As for the à la carte menu, there are lots of good things: burgers, selected cuts of meat, first courses, second courses, etc. Everything is top-notch! Recommended!!

High-level rudeness and incompetence. The owner is definitely not present and doesn't know who's running the business... we travel a lot in Italy and abroad... for a gourmet fast food place with high prices, the price and quality are reasonable... but the real gem, I've never seen before, is the cover charge (placemat and paper napkin), which everyone has their own policy... after my request for some bread to accompany a plate of fried chicken wings and other appetizers, we found ourselves with the cost of a large sandwich on our bill... shameful, we wouldn't recommend.
09/01/2026: The best burger I've had in years. I discovered this great place by chance with my sister after returning from the Santa Corona hospital.

13/01/2026: Pietra, a small, intimate village that doesn't deserve places like this, not so much for the type and location of the place, which is also positive, but for the owner, "I would say" arrogant, annoying, and unfriendly. I would see her well in Piedmont, or perhaps she's even like that in those places. No offense, but I know that attitude towards outsiders, having traveled a lot, but we were all from the area. In summary: Pizza 1, ham to forget, tomato, oh well... waitress 5, because she has to work, cashier (alleged owner/manager) ZERO. Review internally and physically.
06/01/2026: This review is for the restaurant only (not the hotel). Very poor service, extremely long wait times, and the waitress who served us (perhaps the owner? Or at least one of the restaurant managers) was rude and unfriendly. The food was good, but the aforementioned issues were significant. At the tables around us, we saw her twice send pizzas back because they weren't the ones we ordered. In short, there's a lot of room for improvement, to be polite.

The place could use a makeover; the service isn't fast, but the important thing is to eat well without spending a fortune.
