03/01/2026: Excellent, truly delicious restaurant. I recommend it to anyone stopping in Finale Ligure. The location and view are spectacular, along the promenade, and you can even see the sea. The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the wait staff was super friendly and attentive to every request. My compliments also go to the owner, despite my food allergies. He came to our table right away, eager to "feed" me. He also found a solution for me, despite my allergies. I thank him again so much, because it's not everyone's job to make people feel comfortable, even those with a restricted diet due to allergies. A nice chat before leaving, of course, with a smile and the desire to return! Thank you so much again; we'll definitely be back. PS: I will always remember your tuna pasta as the best ❤️

22/02/2026: To end a weekend at the seaside, we had dinner at this restaurant. We ate very well. We chose the seafood menu: trofie with squid ink and monkfish ragù, Sicilian-style swordfish and baby octopus with spinach and potatoes, and for dessert, tarte tatin with ice cream. 15/02/2026: We went to this place on Valentine's Day. Even though it was a very busy night, we had a really good time. The food was excellent, with quality ingredients and a truly friendly staff. Highly recommended!

05/01/2026: Downtown restaurant serving traditional Ligurian cuisine. Simple but excellent food, generous portions. I recommend the fried anchovies, cod medallions, trofie with pesto, squid burrida, Ligurian minestrone, and pears in red wine. Everything is excellent.

12/01/2026: We had dinner on New Year's Eve. We had a great time, and the idea of ​​a murder mystery dinner was a great one. The dishes were good and well-cooked, which isn't a given because restaurants often struggle on nights like these, but they handled it admirably. I gave the service 4 stars not so much for the attentive and punctual wait staff, but for the way the room was managed. It was a bit overcrowded—perhaps with a dozen fewer seats, it would have had less of a "sardine-in-a-can" feel. Also, the seating arrangement was a bit haphazard. There were 4 of us, and since we were all seated on one side of the table, I couldn't even exchange a few words with two of my three companions... a little more attention to these details and they would have received full marks. In any case, recommended.

07/01/2026: A restaurant nestled in the midst of nature, in a magical place like the Le Manie plateau (with a strong accent on the a). Simple but well-managed food, friendly service, a tradition spanning three generations, updated and now carried on by the grandson, a very romantic view from the terrace and the dining room, a welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices. The food is good in a very pleasant setting and is inexpensive. It's out of the way and you have to go there specifically, but it's worth it, even if the road is a bit narrow, especially in the last stretch.

27/01/2026: We arrived very late for lunch, and despite that, they were very nice. The food was excellent and served with a smile! I ordered a delicious poke, made with care and good ingredients! Prices were in line. Maybe I'd give bad reviews to anyone who owns a restaurant without knowing how to interact with the public, but I'd recommend it just for the kindness of the staff we encountered!

17/01/2026: I went for lunch on a Saturday. Definitely too slow... 1.5 hours for four dishes. You can only order four dishes at a time, but you have to wait at least half an hour before being served. The kitchen prepares one table at a time. The restaurant was half full, not even overly crowded. After half an hour of waiting for the second course, I had to leave; they hadn't even started preparing the dishes I'd ordered yet. I must say, however, that, unlike what I've read in other reviews, I didn't notice any dirt inside, and the staff was very friendly, but I don't think I'll be back.

07/12/2025: Dinner for two at this restaurant on the outskirts of Finale: a welcoming and colorful atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and very good food, with attention to quality ingredients. The burger was very good, the fries were exceptional, the specialties were a real find, and the crostini were incredibly tasty. Prices were higher than the average for Finale.

18/01/2026: Exceptional, we stopped by yesterday afternoon by chance. We had a coffee, a cappuccino, and four pastries. "Delicious" is an understatement. Delighted by the croissants, we asked to keep them whole-wheat for the next day. This morning, instead of taking two croissants home, we took five. I ordered a croissant with fruit ice cream on the spot... I was thrilled... it was so divine. The place is super clean. The owners are an intense, gentle, and energetic couple. I took home an incredible inner wealth. It's a shame I live in Turin. But we'll be back for you. I've rarely had an experience like this. Thank you for making me happy. Loredana

30/10/2025: A great little bar with cheerful, chatty ladies behind the counter and an amazing coffee menu including various vegan coffee specialties and even two vegan croissants to choose from. (Plus, the clean toilet has a toilet seat ;)). A rare find in Finale Ligure!

19/10/2025: High-quality food prepared impeccably, friendly and professional staff, a location chosen by these fantastic guys who have tastefully revived it, and a wide and refined selection of natural wines. Don't be put off by the 10-minute drive from the center of Finale Ligure (a good stretch of which is on dirt road), once you've visited Valleponci, you'll understand it was worth it. We return AT LEAST once a year because we can't live without it.

09/10/2025: A beautiful and peaceful spot near the coast – easily accessible by car bike. The place has a wonderful authentic atmosphere, and we met some amazing people there. We only had the apero, but it was excellent. I was a bit surprised that olives weren’t included, but it seems to be common in all the places we visited.

16/01/2026: Went here in May 2022, was just recalling my time in Finale Ligure and this was the absolute best food I sampled. I love in Oregon, United States and am considering flying out just for more cono frito misto

06/01/2026: The fish was very fresh and undoubtedly delicious. However, I'm not sure the oil was as fresh as the fish... That was my impression, both from the smell in the store and from tasting and digesting it... It seemed too used/oxidized. I hope I'm wrong...

05/03/2026: Food was really poor quality and very overpriced. I couldnt finish my pasta course because it was so incredibly salty, and my partner finished his because he was so hungry but struggled. The ingredients did not taste fresh or well prepared. Our mains were also really poor, I had the fish of the day and was told it was going to be either red snapper or sea bream but was given croaker with no explanation. It was not well cooked and I could not eat it. The owner came out at this point and told us that he had never had any complaints in his 22 years, which is hard to believe given the standard of our meals. With some pressure, they did agree not to charge us for my two meals, but we still ended up paying over €50 for hardly any edible food. To add insult to injury, I was clearly paying, but the waiter handed the card reader to my partner, and gave him the receipt after I had paid, without even acknowledging me. Would really not recommend. The playlist also contained only about 7 songs, which were covers of popular songs, on repeat. It was tedious.

18/02/2026: Restaurant in the center of Finale Ligure. Fish ravioli made by the chef are truly delicious. The croaker with mashed potatoes and dried olives is as delicious as the one at Borghese. Desserts: the chocolate mousse with hazelnut crumble is delicious. The wine cellar offers a wide selection; we drank a good, well-kept Delamotte vintage.

04/12/2025: We returned after a few years and under new management. The pizza was very good, made with excellent ingredients, and the homemade desserts were delicious. The atmosphere was a bit chilly... the stove was on, but very low. Let's just say that on a cold evening, perhaps a little warmer would have been better. The service, however, was very good. The pizzas were perhaps better than they used to be. It would be best to book, though.

The service was good, although I would have appreciated a little more explanation of the dishes served. I also recommend keeping the temperature slightly higher. We'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: I recommend this restaurant. A €12 menu (first course, second course, side dish, dessert, drink, and coffee). Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. It's very good, generous, and the owner is very kind. We ate there four times. The menu changes daily. I'll be back on my next vacation.
