03/08/2026: Saturday, August 1, 2026, at noon, a day at the beach. We found this place and stopped in. Two people ordered Cantabrian pizza and a side of roast potatoes with their skins, two beers and water. The wait was a few minutes. The pizza was excellent, well-cooked, with a thin, light dough. It was nice to have them bring you canned anchovies. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Everything was fine, and the bill was very fair. If we return to Finale, we'll be back here too! Give it a try. I think you'll be well-served and satisfied.

01/08/2026: During our holiday week in Finale Ligure, we ate here three times because the food is so good. In addition, it is a beautiful restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The service is very friendly. Highly recommended!

23/07/2026: We went to dinner at this restaurant a few days ago and highly recommend it. We ordered the grilled fish of the day and breaded hake with fries, and were very pleased. It's one of the few places left in Finale Ligure where the quality is still there and the prices are fair. Excellent service, thanks to the very helpful staff. We'll definitely be back!

18/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant a couple of days ago. It was all seafood, and it was a wonderful experience. The fish was incredibly fresh. I rediscovered flavors I hadn't tasted in a long time. We had four appetizers, four first courses, and desserts. Each one was better than the last.... Tuna carpaccio, breaded anchovies, marinated anchovies, seafood first courses. Everything was truly perfect. The staff was kind and attentive. The service was quick. The price was absolutely right. Parking was easy too! (They also have Brazilian specialties). We ate outside. It was raining and we didn't even notice. A magical place. I hope to return soon. Thank you!

30/07/2026: I ate here twice specifically for the mussels. And they were excellent. The first time, I ordered the traditional mussels marinara and the second time, I had the peppered mussels. The service was great. Very attentive and friendly even when the restaurant was packed. I also overheard the staff making accommodations for a guest who said they were vegetarian. I would highly recommend this place.

05/06/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful meal here! We ordered the Caprese with creamy burrata, pesto, and olives, a classic Lasagne alla bolognese, and the traditional Ligurian Brandacujun. Every single dish was executed perfectly, full of authentic flavors, and tasted phenomenal. Paired with a cold local beer, it was simply the perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fantastic local food in a great atmosphere!

12/07/2026: Great place, fair price, decent portions (I was full with a large cone of calamari for €10), avoidable fries, excellent fried food that I would definitely return for if I were to return. I recommend getting in line early and taking your time; the place can get very crowded.

05/07/2026: While browsing Google while enjoying a day at the beach in Finale Ligure, I found this fry shop. What can I say? I ate the best anchovies I've ever eaten, and the calamari was sublime. Impeccable fried food and fresh fish. The price is well worth it, the portions are excellent. Treat yourself to a special fried fish dish. Antony

02/07/2026: We decided to book a table at this osteria for July 1st because it seemed welcoming and hospitable, even though we'd never been there before. We were surprised by both the welcome and the delicious dishes: the appetizers were simply wonderful, with authentic flavors, and the first courses were spectacular. It's been years since I've had such a good pesto. Thanks again for your hospitality. The selection of liqueurs and the excellent Pasqualini coffee, which I discovered in Liguria, were also delicious.

26/06/2026: We just left this splendid location. The food was very refined and pleasing to the palate; truly exceptional. The pesto has a unique flavor; this is the first time my daughter has eaten everything. I highly recommend the rosé wine. The staff is young, dynamic, and friendly. If you're in the area, go there; you'll be delighted.

21/04/2026: We arrived at 6:15 PM. The doors were closed. The opening time was listed as 6:00 PM. Inside, we saw staff who definitely noticed us but simply ignored us. They could have at least briefly informed us of the actual opening time. This experience seems to align with the other 1-star reviews. To perhaps reiterate the answer: The website, the restaurant itself, and Google Maps all state 6:00 PM as the opening time. You can therefore decide for yourself whether the rest of the comment is accurate.

18/04/2026: Unfortunately, this thing with the two lunch menus One for €17 and the other for €28, if I'm not mistaken It seems like a rip-off to me. It's not specified outside the restaurant, but only when you're seated. I'm sorry if people on vacation want to overdo it, have lunch with friends, and only get two things. Because the all-you-can-eat menu isn't clearly specified outside (they even rush you to choose four dishes). The food is also normal, nothing to say about "wow." Drinks and desserts are not included in the price.

21/07/2026: A fantastic and probably one-of-a-kind place. I highly recommend getting there early to enjoy the sunset and the breathtaking view surrounding the place. The food is sublime, especially their fresh pasta dishes and the mixed antipasto, where you can sample a mix of all their delicacies. We'll definitely be back!! P.S. 5 stars for food, service, and ambiance are too few.

05/04/2026: Homemade cuisine and authentic flavors. Eating at this bar, da Maria, is a wonderful experience, the ideal place for a family-style lunch. It's just like eating at your mother's or grandmother's house: their homemade cuisine offers excellent dishes, simple yet truly delicious. The value for money is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming and authentic. A highly recommended place for a genuine lunch!

Maybe it's the customer service or the quality of the product, but since I've been getting my coffee here, it's tasted completely different... decidedly better! A well-deserved five stars.

17/05/2026: Wonderful, authentic Italian atmosphere without any frills. They serve delicious, home-style cooking. A must-visit if you're in the area! Unbeatable prices compared to the typical tourist traps! The service is very friendly, and the owner is also a great entertainer 😄

30/06/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times and have always had a great time. Saturday night, however, was not the case. Everyone has a bad night, but sitting down at a table after booking two days in advance and being forced to choose between four dishes is not satisfying. The side baked potatoes and salad were even out of stock! What left us perplexed was the waitress's joke, who "reprimanded" us for choosing the second sitting at 9:30 pm... so don't take reservations if you don't know how to organize yourself! The result? €39 per person to eat what was left (don't think we drank a lot, one bottle between eight of us). Furthermore, the only portion of ribs served at the table were... brontosaurus-like, given their size and such a "gamey" taste... sorry, but that's not the case. The only positive note was the focaccia, good but definitely overpriced. Too bad, we'll try again at the end of the season, perhaps, for a rematch.

01/06/2026: I'll start by saying that I never write reviews, but here we are on another planet. Just a few minutes' drive from the sea, you arrive in a very characteristic location surrounded by nature. We sat outside, where the background music was a truly relaxing and pleasant stream. I'll focus on the first dish we ordered, which truly left us speechless: the handmade borage ravioli with wild boar ragù... a mix of flavors we'd never tried before, truly expertly prepared and without the strong flavor that wild boar usually has. We continued our dinner with a truly spectacular Rubia Gallega rib-eye steak and finished with a homemade tiramisu, also very good. We stopped to chat with the owner and complimented him on everything. A truly wonderful experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
