In the end, you have to eat here, nowhere else. Rustic, wooden tables, exposed brick. But it exudes authenticity, simplicity, no frills. Excellent food, fair price. A pleasure to go there, just make a reservation.

We entered 40 minutes before closing time, and a kind young lady wanted to seat us, telling us to place a single order because the kitchen was about to close. So we approached the table area, and another gentleman rudely blocked us, informing us that the kitchen was already closed. Total inconsistency in customer communication makes me question the sincerity of the last employee. Yet, I don't see this "overwhelming" midweek workload after Easter. So, new customers aren't welcome? We've noticed that much of Finale Ligure has this unwelcoming attitude. I will never return, and I don't recommend it. We weren't able to eat, but the smell in the dining room was decidedly strong. Not a good sign, in my opinion.

18/04/2026: Courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness—this is the minimum standard of hospitality every establishment should have, and they easily exceed it. Their dishes are exquisite, flavorful, and above all, plentiful. Having tried both a seafood first course and a pizza, we were completely satisfied. Prices are average, and I will definitely return as soon as I'm in the area. Highly recommended!!!

18/01/2026: Exceptional, we stopped by yesterday afternoon by chance.
We had a coffee, a cappuccino, and four pastries. "Delicious" is an understatement.
Delighted by the croissants, we asked to keep them whole-wheat for the next day.
This morning, instead of taking two croissants home, we took five.
I ordered a croissant with fruit ice cream on the spot... I was thrilled... it was so divine.
The place is super clean.
The owners are an intense, gentle, and energetic couple. I took home an incredible inner wealth.
It's a shame I live in Turin.
But we'll be back for you.
I've rarely had an experience like this.
Thank you for making me happy.

18/04/2026: This restaurant is definitely one of my top recommendations in Finalborgo!
The dishes are delicious, especially the tuna tartare and the tuna in pistachio crust (the squid was perhaps a little overcooked). The service was excellent: they were flexible regarding dietary restrictions (unfortunately, only fruit was available for gluten-free dessert) and were able to recommend suitable wines. Dishes were served one after the other. The ambiance outside on the piazza is charmingly historic, and there was pleasant piano music from the neighboring restaurant.
Reservations are a must! You can make them via WhatsApp.

21/04/2026: We arrived at 6:15 PM. The doors were closed. The opening time was listed as 6:00 PM. Inside, we saw staff who definitely noticed us but simply ignored us. They could have at least briefly informed us of the actual opening time. This experience seems to align with the other 1-star reviews.
To perhaps reiterate the answer: The website, the restaurant itself, and Google Maps all state 6:00 PM as the opening time. You can therefore decide for yourself whether the rest of the comment is accurate.

One for €17 and the other for €28, if I'm not mistaken
It seems like a rip-off to me. It's not specified outside the restaurant, but only when you're seated. I'm sorry if people on vacation want to overdo it, have lunch with friends, and only get two things.
Because the all-you-can-eat menu isn't clearly specified outside (they even rush you to choose four dishes).
The food is also normal, nothing to say about "wow."
Drinks and desserts are not included in the price.

04/12/2025: We returned after a few years and under new management. The pizza was very good, made with excellent ingredients, and the homemade desserts were delicious. The atmosphere was a bit chilly... the stove was on, but very low. Let's just say that on a cold evening, perhaps a little warmer would have been better. The service, however, was very good. The pizzas were perhaps better than they used to be. It would be best to book, though.

17/08/2025: I recommend this restaurant. A €12 menu (first course, second course, side dish, dessert, drink, and coffee). Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. It's very good, generous, and the owner is very kind. We ate there four times. The menu changes daily.
I'll be back on my next vacation.

I've always eaten well, with excellent platters, good beer, and good wine.
Rustic and well-kept atmosphere, outdoor space.
I recommend it.
10/04/2026: The staff is friendly, helpful, and fast.
And, most importantly, they're very attentive to our furry friends. And, to top it all off, the food is delicious.
