24/08/2025: Terrible experience. Total disorganization. 45 minutes for a coffee and a croissant. Tables were left impatiently due to the long wait, and the cashier was rude after pointing out the long wait and the dissatisfaction of those outside.

23/08/2025: We waited 25 minutes for two croissants and a macchiato, only to receive different croissants than the ones we ordered after being told they were out of stock, even though they were clearly visible in the window. When we pointed out the discrepancy and the terrible service, the response was rude and unprofessional, even inviting us to go elsewhere. A simple apology and replacement croissants would have been enough to make up for it, but unfortunately, politeness and courtesy were lacking. I find this attitude inconceivable. It's a shame, because the croissants are good, but with service like this, it makes you never want to return.

27/07/2025: Excellent service, excellent breakfast with cappuccino, focaccia, and Bacio di Alassio. Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast... divine Ligurian focaccia paired perfectly with cappuccino.

21/08/2025: Excellent restaurant on the seafront. I've been eating there for the second time in a row. The staff are all very young, helpful, competent, and eager to work. The service from the waiter, Gianluca, was beyond impeccable. If I'd been here another day, I'd definitely have returned.

The food is bland, the service is very poor, and the most pathetic service we've encountered in recent years. They choose customers based on your skin color and origin—a real scandal. 10/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, without a reservation, and despite it being the week of August 15th, they found us a table right away. We shared a house appetizer to start and were served two decidedly XL courses, so much so that we wondered if they were two appetizers and not one. Instead, it was actually one giant appetizer with a first round of cold fish and a second hot one. Everything was delicious, even the warm focaccia with cherry tomatoes and onion. While we were waiting for the first course, the owner, who, contrary to other reviews, we found to be friendly and knowledgeable, like someone who has been passionately involved in this profession for decades, asked us if we wanted to try some spaghetti with clams and bottarga from a pan that had evidently been too full. They were divine! Then, even though we were already full, my Jurassic dish of linguine with scampi and my husband's mixed fried fish arrived. We literally left rolling. The waiters and the owner's daughter were all kind, even to our poodle, who earned a few extra cookies. The bill was €88, including a bottle of wine. We'll definitely be back.

05/07/2025: Vino molto costoso. Chiariamo anziché fusilli alle vongole di avere gli spaghetti. Rispondono di no. Pazienza. Cozze al guazzetto. Quasi tutte col “baffo”. Quindi non adeguatamente pulite. Chiediamo acciughe fritte specificando che vogliamo assieme una focaccia. Arrivano le acciughe ma non la focaccia. Nel frattempo servono pizze e focacce da asporto, che passano davanti alle ordinazioni dei tavoli. Se non fosse in passeggiata ad Alassio, a mio avviso sarebbe sempre vuoto.

03/09/2025: Great food, it was served very quickly! But the waiters need to learn some service rules. They tried to take every plate even though we were still eating, it felt like they wanted us to leave soon... There were not many guests, so it was quite annoying

30/07/2025: I've stopped at this restaurant on my way to Alassio twice now. The atmosphere is clean, basic, but very nice. The staff is helpful, and the food is very good. We had a mixed fried fish dish, and the fish was very fresh. Prices are average.

20/07/2025: I was at this bar one morning with some friends. We had breakfast, and the food was plentiful. When I asked for a bottle of water, after calling the lady, she walked away, telling me I was exaggerating with my request and our orders. I was very annoyed by the rude response from the lady who works here. I'm pissed off.

14/07/2025: Every time we come, the staff is rude and unwelcoming. The most recent incident involves being banned from sitting at the outdoor tables if you're ordering an ice cream cone. There were three of us, and we ordered three ice creams and a coffee, but we were still told we couldn't sit. I find it absurd that those who pay and consume can't have access to the tables, as if there were first-class and second-class customers. It's a truly perplexing policy and certainly doesn't encourage anyone to return. A little more courtesy and common sense would make a difference.

11/07/2025: We had breakfast and tried a delicious croissant filled with almond cream, a delight! The staff was very friendly, and we'll definitely be back to try their other croissants, ice cream, and other savory treats.

04/09/2025: The pizzas were amazing. The service was arrogant and dismissive. We asked for a seat and were told there was no room if we hadn't booked. We then booked a table online for 10 minutes later, and there was no problem getting a table. People came in without a reservation both before and after us, and they were able to get a table. The male waiter acted like he owned the whole place, and was very unserviceable.

22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.

20/05/2025: As far as I'm concerned, kind and thoughtful, as well as discreet, excellent breakfast and considering that we are in Alassio perhaps a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a single and then they gave me a double at the same price for reasons not better specified.....

12/07/2025: Everything is very good, it's a shame that they increased the price of the cone and also decreased the quantity... Terrible value for money, it's a shame, I hope they come to their senses, otherwise there are other valid options nearby.

19/08/2025: The pastry shop boasts a great location, but unfortunately it created false expectations. The cappuccino was too runny; we ordered some traditional pastries, but they were decidedly disappointing as they weren't fresh. The only positive note is the quality of the brioches.

16/08/2025: The pastry or "Baci Liguri" has been patented, to be enjoyed with a good espresso as a contrast. Highly recommended.

01/09/2025: A good, clean hotel, practically in the center of Alassio. The small spa on the fifth floor offers a lovely sea view. A little more maintenance wouldn't hurt, both in the rooms and in the spa.

30/08/2025: After a few years, I returned and I must say there was a drastic change, especially in the cleanliness of the room! The bed was somehow made, dust and cobwebs, a hair on the shelf of the bathroom mirror until we left. The shower gel and shampoo dispensers were empty after 2 days and never refilled. The intimate soap was only seen on the first day and left empty for days, including the empty toilet paper rolls. The shower, despite the panels being perfectly closed, always had water reaching our room! The only positive thing was the breakfast and, above all, the kindness and friendliness of Mr. Giuseppe! A beautiful hotel, but a bit neglected over time.
