26/10/2025: Located in Piazza Partigiani, just beyond the Budello, it's an excellent gelateria, in my opinion the best in Alassio. On the rare occasions I get there, I always stop by. A good selection of very good flavors, which I always order with a waffle cone. The staff is friendly. I recommend this place if you're passing through Alassio.

22/10/2025: Strolling through the bright-and-breezy Piazza dei Partigiani in Alassio, I stumbled across Gelateria Rainbow — a gem of a stop for anyone craving a sweet pause. The first thing you notice: the cheerful façade, the colourful gelato display, and the promise of something indulgent yet genuine.

11/09/2025: Total disorganization! They didn't have a working POS machine, long waits for coffee, and the staff weren't even friendly: we definitely won't be back!

03/09/2025: Uneducated staff, slow service, basically terrible, the only thing that saves them, the products, because logically they don't make them themselves

22/08/2025: Affordable two-star hotel. It's clean, though, the breakfast room is nice and has plenty of options, and the staff is very friendly. The room is small and modest, but not uncomfortable. One issue I had was the very noisy air conditioning. Good location, just steps from the beach and not far from the historic district. Affordable for Alassio.

20/05/2025: As far as I'm concerned, kind and thoughtful, as well as discreet, excellent breakfast and considering that we are in Alassio perhaps a little expensive but not excessive. I asked for a single and then they gave me a double at the same price for reasons not better specified.....

02/03/2026: I stayed at the Hotel Rosa in Alassio from February 26 to March 2 for work and had a great time. I'd start with the very positive experience preceding my arrival, with customer service directly on WhatsApp. I explained my situation regarding the uncertainty of my arrival time, and they were very willing to offer me flexibility. Upon my arrival, another pleasant surprise: they upgraded my room! It wasn't necessary, as I was traveling alone, but it was a very welcome and friendly gesture. The room was spacious and equipped with everything I needed. The hotel's location is excellent: close to the train station and the city center, yet in a quiet area. You sleep well. Breakfast was also varied and plentiful. Last, but perhaps most importantly, the price was competitive! Super! There was also a gym, but I didn't have a chance to try it (though I did inspect the property, and it had plenty of equipment, something you don't usually find in hotels at this price). It is highly likely that for my future stay in Alassio, I will return to this hotel.

28/02/2026: Manager Zangrandi Domenica of the Pieve Porto Morone (PV) group, qualified staff, comfortable and clean rooms, large superior balconies with sea view, excellent breakfast, elegant and spacious hall.

10/11/2025: A nice place. We had an appetizer and a first course. Three of us had a bottle of wine, a coffee, and a liqueur. 130 euros. The quality and flavor are good. Perhaps a little too expensive.

02/01/2026: First of all, the staff was incredibly rude, they didn't have most of the things we wanted to order, the prices were extremely high, the place was small and confusing. NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!

08/10/2025: A historic Ligurian gelateria in Alassio, the gelato is quite good. The cup served at the table is fine, but the small, two-flavor cone for €3.50 is decidedly expensive! The place is clean and welcoming. The girl at the cash register is polite. What I don't like is the rude and unfriendly man at the counter with his Sicilian accent. It really clashes with "A Cuvea"! We're in Liguria, so local management is better!

25/08/2025: Historic ice cream shop in Alassio. An experience worth repeating. A friend and I walked in, and the lady at the cash register (I assume the owner) invited us to sit outside. We accepted, ordered, and yes, we looked at the price list (I imagined they were higher). What can I say other than crazy prices? It's true that they served two flavors in a glass cup for €6.50, and a cup with gelato and strawberries for €11. It's absurd. When it comes time to pay, this lady at the cash register is always very rude and impolite. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for families with children, because you can't get a mortgage to get gelato. There are better and cheaper places.

02/01/2026: We had two teas and a crepe. Aside from the fact that it arrived after at least a long wait, the tea arrived in a sad, very old (worn) glass cup with black dots of dirty water inside, and the saucer was smeared with chocolate. Furthermore, the crepe knife was also dirty. For a place like this, care and cleanliness are a must, especially given the price.

30/12/2025: A cafe that's a magical world! Surrounded by precious works of art and historical artifacts, it's the perfect place for breakfast, tea, or a stop after exploring the town. Delicious pastries, perfect cappuccino, and authentic espresso. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, yet very relaxed. The service is impeccable. Definitely a place to return to!
