30/10/2025: I had lunch at Simon Boccanegra with my parents on a Sunday in October. This restaurant, located in the center of Sarzana, offers a menu featuring focaccia and seafood dishes. The service is friendly and quick, perfect for those looking for a quick meal without sacrificing quality. The seafood main courses are excellent (especially the stuffed calamari), as are the focaccia. Prices are average.

16/09/2025: Yesterday I had lunch at Ristorante Rondò and I absolutely have to share my positive experience! The menu is extensive and offers countless options for all tastes, vegan and otherwise. We tried a little bit of everything, and I can say with certainty that it was all very, very good. Everything was carefully prepared and flavorful. But what made the difference, beyond the food, was the staff. They were truly helpful, kind, and always smiling. They recommended fantastic dishes and were attentive to every need, creating a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a restaurant in Sarzana where you can eat well (vegan or otherwise), with excellent value and impeccable service, Ristorante Rondò is the perfect choice.

09/09/2025: Honestly, we had booked at another restaurant, but due to our delay, our table was given to someone else. Fair enough, no fuss, in fact, thank you! We discovered this place, seemingly anonymous from abroad but welcoming, intimate, and elegant inside, specifically in the courtyard. Indeed, upon entering, we find a hallway with the cash register, the restrooms (clean and tidy), the kitchen, and then the restaurant area with a beautiful, well-kept, and quiet internal courtyard. The dishes are well-presented and flavorful. Excellent wine selection. Coffee in the Moka pot at the table. Attentive service. Prices in line with the aforementioned setting. Recommended.

07/09/2025: The best restaurant in Sarzana, without a doubt. The location is very pleasant, with the added bonus of dining in a lovely garden. All the staff are very welcoming, and customers are well looked after. In addition to the well-designed menu, this restaurant strives to ensure customers receive only the highest quality, freshest ingredients. For this reason, the prices are completely in line with the offerings. Ottone I was a truly wonderful discovery. Kudos to the entire staff, keep up the good work!

19/10/2025: Reservation: We called three times without receiving an answer. Luckily, they called us back and offered us dinner at either Seating 1 (7:30 PM) or Seating 2 (9:00 PM). We chose Seating 1 at 7:00 PM, and over the phone, we were told several times, rather annoyingly, "Please note, the table must be vacated at 9:00 PM sharp," and "Please inform your guests that the table must be vacated at 9:00 PM." Let's just say we didn't get off to the best start when making the reservation. Welcome: We arrived at 7:20 PM. The staff was outside smoking, and they didn't let us in until 7:30 PM sharp. That's no big deal. In the meantime, we read the menu and made up our minds about what to order. Ordering: The girl who came to take our order was very friendly and explained the various options. Service: The guy with the ponytail who brought the hot stone to cook the meat was quite rude: as soon as he arrived, he handed over the stone and warned us not to put oil on it due to the risk of flames/smoke, and so far so good. When I pointed out that the stone was quite black on the surface (in a completely calm and friendly manner), he immediately got annoyed, took the stone back, and went back to the kitchen, cursing things like "let's start the evening off right!" In amazement, we awaited his return with a new stone, and in a snobbish manner, he said, "Is this okay?!" I didn't think the guy's attitude was very nice; he could have handled his frustration differently. The other waitresses, however, were kind. Food: 5 people, we ordered: - Testaroli with oil and cheese - Hunter's menu - Panigacci with prosciutto, stracchino cheese, and vegetables - Baked fish with vegetables - Paccheri with fish sauce - Water Personally, I found the baked fish with vegetables good, perhaps a little too greasy, but overall okay. The panigacci were average, and the prosciutto was good. I can't comment on the other dishes because I didn't try them, but I think the taste of the food was negatively impacted by the service, as the atmosphere at the table was ruined by the waiter's rude attitude. Bill: The cashier was very kind, and we spent about €100, which I think was more or less fair for what we ate. Conclusion: The place has potential, but I don't think we'll return, considering the poor service experience and the rude way we were treated when booking. Sorry, but we're a no-go!

15/10/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the center of Sarzana. The menu features fish and meat, and the first courses are very good; I struggle to pass up anything. The service is friendly and efficient, and the wait for your food is short. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

09/11/2025: Service was a bit slow because it was quite busy. It's a very popular place, even though you wouldn't know it from the location. But it's still a beautiful, well-kept place, and everything is delicious!

30/10/2025: Thanks to the lunch provided, we were able to sample this restaurant's culinary offerings. Refined dishes with generous portions, accompanied by excellent focaccia. Unfortunately, the exterior doesn't make the best first impression, but the interior is well-maintained and tasteful.

20/08/2025: Just one word: MAGNIFICENT. The food is fabulous, mind-blowing, and ethereal. The service is also magnificent, and the detailed explanations of the dishes completely change the experience, making you feel like you're in a luxury restaurant even if you're next to a gas station. Spectacular, that's how I'd describe this place—no, divine, heavenly! I highly recommend it. We came here for an aperitif, but we ended up having a full lunch, including dessert. The cheesecake bomb is delicious, I highly recommend it.

23/11/2025: The welcome was warm, joyful, and very attentive. The place is simple but well-kept, with a warm and pleasant personal touch. We discovered delicious sgabei, not greasy, soft and crunchy, accompanied by a truly extra-large platter! The cheese focaccia was also very good. The homemade desserts were the icing on the cake. The service was impeccable, courteous but not pushy. Overall, a truly pleasant discovery, we'll be back soon!!
