10/01/2026: 📍Excellent location if you want to grab a bite to eat and then go see a good movie just 10 steps from the cinema. 🍽️Very nice place, rustic style, with TV, music, various decorations, and they often host very interesting events. The staff is friendly and helpful. 🍕The pizza is really good; the one I always get, Speck and Mascarpone, is very creamy, and the crust is light but crispy (I didn't really like the "Ape" pizza, but that's my personal preference). 🍔The burgers are one of their specialties, very tasty and made with quality meat. 🥩The meat, also their specialty, comes in various cuts/types.

01/11/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well it just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.

09/09/2025: Honestly, we had booked at another restaurant, but due to our delay, our table was given to someone else. Fair enough, no fuss, in fact, thank you! We discovered this place, seemingly anonymous from abroad but welcoming, intimate, and elegant inside, specifically in the courtyard. Indeed, upon entering, we find a hallway with the cash register, the restrooms (clean and tidy), the kitchen, and then the restaurant area with a beautiful, well-kept, and quiet internal courtyard. The dishes are well-presented and flavorful. Excellent wine selection. Coffee in the Moka pot at the table. Attentive service. Prices in line with the aforementioned setting. Recommended.

06/01/2026: Passing through Sarzana a little late, excellent quick lunch with tasty traditional dishes. Very nice place and not too big, I recommend booking.

04/01/2026: Informal and welcoming atmosphere, even though there were only two of us arriving at 2pm, they welcomed us and found us a place, offering us hospitality, friendliness and above all excellent fresh and well-prepared food.

20/08/2025: Just one word: MAGNIFICENT. The food is fabulous, mind-blowing, and ethereal. The service is also magnificent, and the detailed explanations of the dishes completely change the experience, making you feel like you're in a luxury restaurant even if you're next to a gas station. Spectacular, that's how I'd describe this place—no, divine, heavenly! I highly recommend it. We came here for an aperitif, but we ended up having a full lunch, including dessert. The cheesecake bomb is delicious, I highly recommend it.

30/10/2025: Osteria del Monsignore is a restaurant located in the center of Sarzana. I had the opportunity to have lunch there with a group of friends just before Christmas. The restaurant isn't very large, but inside you'll find a cozy atmosphere. The menu focuses on traditional Lunigiana dishes—nothing elaborate, but certainly appetizing. The quality is very good, as is the courteous and prompt service. There's a wide selection of wines. The price is average.

03/01/2026: The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, and the wait to order is very long, over 30 minutes. They were probably short on staff. I've had both pizza and a set menu with first and second courses at this restaurant. The pizza is good, but the rest is a little less so. The meat is a bit disappointing, as it appears to be cooked less than requested. The cured meats are also not of good quality; they're adequate, but nothing more. What surprised me most are the prices. They're really high.

I notice you always comment on the negative reviews, quite a few of which are diametrically opposed to the idyllic ones, some of which are personally a bit dubious. I think you'd be better off without explanations... if you were truly sure, you wouldn't follow up on certain opinions, but would let the fruit of your labor speak for itself. Instead, without any substantive argument, you respond point by point, justifying and sometimes sarcastically deriding personal issues. You're right to avoid justifying the cost of the clams; it would be ridiculous for an €18 dish. As for "writing one thing and proving another," I'll simply tell you that I ate the dish because it was edible despite being mediocre. Also, regarding "the honesty of saying I liked the main course," please reread carefully. I wrote that it was okay, not "good," simply average. No one asked you to send the other customers away, nor did anyone show any annoyance, but that doesn't change the fact that the atmosphere was objectively chaotic. In conclusion, your piqued invitation to "go further" is completely out of place since I wrote "TO BE AVOIDED," so it's logical that I'll go further, inviting others to do so. Now, you decide whether to miss the opportunity to remain silent. As I said, I'll stop here and wish you a good evening.
