We've been twice this week
On Wednesday at England Argentina, the food was divine, one of the best pizzas I've had in years.
Tonight, three days later, the pizza wasn't good, the same pizza (raw ham), something completely different, tasteless, and above all, the raw ham was very little, as was the mozzarella.
A total disappointment considering I drove 80 km to get back.
Anyway, I'll be back because it's impossible that Wednesday's pizza was a fluke, I think. Even more so, tonight's. Perhaps with so many people on Saturday, there may be variables.
The price of draft beer was exaggerated.

16/07/2026: Today for work I stopped for lunch at this restaurant. I must say that the premises are welcoming, with an open kitchen, well-organized and clean, and the restrooms are also very tidy and clean.
As soon as we entered, they let us choose a table and with much patience they seated us.
We chose the appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with sgabei.
The cured meat was excellent, and the cheese was also excellent and very fresh. The sgabei were slightly too crunchy, but they had a good flavor, and the fried fish was dry.
You can easily opt for a single dish because the portions are truly generous.
For the second course, we chose mixed fried seafood, which I'd say was delicious, with a dry and crunchy coating, and also a very generous portion. As a digestif, a lemon sorbet.
The service was attentive and very courteous, and despite the tables being sold out, it was very quick.
They offer several menus at different price points, from tourist, to workers, and finally à la carte.
Recommended place at reasonable prices

18/05/2026: It's a good value pizzeria, also stocked with gluten-free and lactose-free ingredients. However, I wouldn't recommend it to someone new to Sarzana. As for the location, however, the fact that it's close to middle and primary schools is quite a positive thing. I wouldn't recommend it, but for the price and the location, it's worth it.
04/05/2026: Friendly, welcoming staff. The white pizza was really good, but the red one didn't have tomato sauce, which was bad.

11/05/2026: My son and I went to Cittadella for an aperitif. The Spritz was delicious, accompanied by farinata, focaccia with cured meats, and pizza. The girl in the dining room was super nice! We'll be back!

17/05/2026: We went to this pizzeria to get a gluten-free pizza due to dietary restrictions: the frozen one is better, with a €4 surcharge and an industrial base, rubbery, and bad flavor. It's best not to offer it if you have to serve it that bad.

27/06/2026: La Darsena, in Sarzana, was a pleasant discovery: solid, flavorful, yet meticulously prepared seafood. I ordered scialatielli with mussels and roasted octopus on creamed potatoes: fresh fish, flavorful dishes, that distinct sensation of "feeling the sea."
The ravioli with pesto and calamari chosen by my companion were also very successful: a truly surprising dish, balanced and intense. The girls ordered two thin-crust pizzas, with excellent dough and flavorful, non-standard toppings.
In the glass, a Cinque Terre DOC 2022 from Terenzuola: straw yellow, a fine, marine profile, with notes of citrus, yellow fruit, Mediterranean herbs, and a lovely savory edge. On the palate, it's fresh, vertical, and mineral, perfect for accompanying fish dishes without overpowering them.
Overall, a dinner that demonstrated a high level of quality, both in the quality of the ingredients and in the preparation. A special mention also goes to the staff: kind, attentive, and discreet. A decidedly positive experience.

One star because it's the only thing that can be given less. It's abysmal pizza: thinner than a cracker, tasteless, dry, with no toppings, and terrible quality ingredients. We felt sick after eating it. I don't understand how it has such good reviews. It's inedible! 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 Buy it frozen, it's much better and you'll save money.
04/04/2026: Always high quality, even for celiacs! Of course, during periods of lower customer intensity, they even reach 5 stars! But they never fall below a certain level.

Unica nota positiva la ragazza che ha preso l’ordine: gentile, graziosa e educata.
Sugli altri membri dello staff stendo un velo pietoso.
Niente a che vedere con la qualità e l’accoglienza della Pia a La Spezia.
Mai più a Sarzana.

27/04/2025: Avevo voglia di mangiare una pizza, ma ho sbagliato locale, non tanto per la qualità, mediocre, ma per il tipo di pizza, che è sottilissima, per me che amo la napoletana con il cornicione alto è stata spiacevole sorpresa. Molti, compresi i miei amici, mangiavano con soddisfazione la farinata, purtroppo a me non è mai piaciuta.
Il personale è molto gentile, il servizio veloce, prima di uscire ho visto che fanno anche la pizza al trancio.
Sicuramente non è il mio locale preferito.
13/01/2025: Cena in famiglia per un compleanno. Per l'ambiente: ci sono due stanze, una è quella d'ingresso con bancone dove servono pizza al taglio, l'altra è adiacente. Quest'ultima è tranquilla, l'altra immagino che sia un po' scomoda per mangiare lì. Farinata molto buona. Pizza con buon condimento ma impasto scarso, perché è troppo sottile e diventa tipo cracker. Dolce portato da casa quindi non saprei. Personale gentile, servizio abbastanza veloce.
