04/09/2025: If I had been able to put 0, I would have put it. A lactose intolerance was not respected. I was served cream meat when I was offered rice with mushrooms without cream in front of the restaurant. I am called a liar by telling me that I have not reported my lactose intolerance when I have! €14 for a slice of cold meat with cream on top and served without accompaniment. It's a scandal, truly a restaurant to flee. 03/09/2025: On a family vacation in Monaco, we took a trip to Ventimiglia. Since there's a restaurant near the train station, we naturally went there for lunch upon arrival. Huge disappointment. Although the woman who served us was very nice, the service was extremely slow (over 30 minutes to receive our food even though the restaurant was practically empty), and two out of the three dishes were really not good and tasted like nothing more than cheap frozen food. In short, for the price we paid (over €70), you can find much better.

19/09/2025: The focaccia was stale and the baci di dama were inedible. Not recommended for anyone passing through Ventimiglia. I'm sorry I wasted €20.

20/04/2026: I've been meaning to write a review of my favorite pizzeria in Ventimiglia for a while. Every two weeks, when I return to Italy from France, it's a must-visit for my speck and arugula pizza. Since I have a few minutes before my train to Turin leaves, I'm finally taking the time today. The "Bistrot" pizzeria in Ventimiglia is certainly not a place for fashionistas and influencers (keep getting ripped off by Crazy Pizza...). Here we are in a historic, family-run establishment that has managed to retain its simplicity and authenticity despite the hordes of tourists who flock to the city. The welcome is warm and genuine, the freshly baked pizzas from the wood-fired oven are delicious, and the bill is reasonable and fair. I highly recommend it.

23/07/2026: Rude staff, paid bathroom, no phone charging, and exorbitant prices. DO NOT GO!

23/07/2026: Terrible staff, not only did they tell a friend of mine to go to hell as soon as he turned around, but the service was terrible. They wouldn't let you go to the bathroom without ordering (a €1 fee), and the waitress was rude when I asked for just a cappuccino. Furthermore, they don't let you charge your phone.

27/12/2025: Rude cashiers. I've never had an experience like this. I gave 5 euros to pay for a coffee. A pissed off cashier answered me in a rude way. If I didn't have any change, I advise against running away.
