15/09/2025: Possibly the best focaccia I've ever eaten. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it! My favorites are the classic, the Recco, the pesto and stracchino, and the Gorgonzola.

24/10/2025: A truly authentic pizzeria that can be considered the number one tip in town and perhaps the region. The pizza oven reflects the name, which translates as FIRE and STONE; this oven maintains the temperature you need. A pizza is baked in just a few minutes; a gentle breeze won't help! Claudio knows how to conjure up a truly delicious pizza. The well-coordinated team, including his wife, who, as always, keeps an eye on payments, is professional. By the way: The price is usually under €10, truly top-notch in the area. Parking is difficult unless you're on a bike.

19/10/2025: Was going through whole city to see a closed restaurant which have wrong working time...

08/10/2025: We called and reserved a table at this restaurant, but when we arrived, the staff seemed surprised that a reservation was even possible. When we showed them our confirmation, the waiter rudely pointed to a very unpleasant table and said we could sit there. When I politely asked if we could sit outside, he replied, “Here is reserved for three years!” — which was extremely rude and unnecessary. It was a very disappointing experience. We had been looking forward to eating here, but the way we were treated was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they improve their attitude toward guests.

03/10/2025: Fantastic experience, a unique location with a breathtaking sea view, excellent and refined food, amazing and unique desserts, attentive and discreet staff. What can I say.....................................................TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!

28/10/2025: Beautiful establishment and well located. It is a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 10-minute walk from the town center. The room is in its original condition (old-fashioned) but functional and very clean. The woodwork has been replaced, which is appreciated. We were on the garden side, so it was difficult to appreciate the soundproofing. The staff is very professional, attentive, and available. The breakfast is very good and offers a wide selection. A free automatic coffee machine for residents is available all day (which is appreciated). Parking is available about a ten-minute walk away. Having found a space a 2-minute walk from the hotel (visit at the end of October), I cannot give an opinion on the parking offered by the hotel. Very nice experience, we recommend this establishment.

29/11/2025: A restaurant above average in Rapallo, but unfortunately not quite as good as the food. Trofie alla Genovese, which should be a must-try, is unsatisfying, and is barely adequate. Grated cheese served in a visible bowl, which is unhygienic. The swordfish main course was also, unfortunately, tasteless and served with two meager vegetables. The service was courteous but brisk, and the temperature in the restaurant was generally quite cold for December. Dogs are allowed, and indeed there were far too many of them. Three stars because there are worse options, but there's definitely room for improvement in the quality of the dishes and in some aspects that really make the difference.

09/11/2025: Quiet Restaurant with very good service, acertive and kind. Food was delicious and fresh. Good offer of wines. Excellent place! A must when in Rapallo. The fish soup is incredible.

31/10/2025: This was our favorite place to eat in Rapallo. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all excellent and charming. We went there for three dinner meals during our 4 week stay in Rapallo.

20/10/2025: Today I booked a lunch reservation at this new restaurant for me. It's a rainy day here in Rapallo. We entered empty and had lunch alone. It must have been the bad weather, but then again on Monday. I ordered the first one I found on their Google Maps profile: basil and pesto ravioli with clams. It was very good. Then we ordered a mixed grill, which was also good. But my rating dropped to 3 stars because the still house wine had a very strange taste. I had it changed, and ordered the slightly sparkling one, but that also had an unpleasant aftertaste. So he recommended a glass of this good bottle. Located in the historic center, it's very nice. I recommend the atmosphere, but order the wine by the bottle in my opinion.

29/11/2025: The ingredients are absolutely fresh. The farinata are spectacular, and both the piazzata and the cheese focaccia are delicious. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

21/10/2025: A very nice, typical address. The Recco-style cheese focaccia is absolutely incredible! It's generous and inexpensive.

04/09/2025: I rarely recommend a restaurant based on a single meal, but this is the case. Ora Blu was a pleasant surprise, both for its cuisine, service, and location. We were particularly impressed by the pasta with clams and the mixed grilled fish. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly, preserving the freshness and authentic flavor of the fish. Truly excellent. We felt truly welcomed by the lovely Michela. I highly recommend Ora Blu in San Michele di Pagana, a quaint, colorful, and quiet village between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, where you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Tigullio Gulf and the Riviera!

20/08/2025: Pasta felt low quality. French fries feels also low quality + frozen. The portion of the “large fritto misto” is very small quantity. What would have you given me if I ordered the medium size? Unacceptable food.

04/11/2025: If you don't know it and you focus on its appearance, you wouldn't give it a damn. However, if you try to talk to the owner, you'll understand that he's a true connoisseur, capable of offering wines, spirits, cured meats, and a few dishes of unexpected quality. If you appreciate the '70s/'80s style and want to eat simple but quality food, but above all, if you appreciate good wine and good grappa (and more), I highly recommend it.
