06/07/2026: Don’t go here if you are a tourist! Undercooked food that would make someone sick. Worst service ever, made us wait over an hour for a table. Food took over an hour to come.

05/07/2026: We went in and asked how long the wait would be for a table of 5, they said about 20 minutes so we waited on a bench near the restaurant. A group left and it took over an hour and us going in and asking for them to clean the table. The waiter was nice and pleasant, however the lady (most likely owner) was rude and clearly didn’t like tourists. After we got seated we ordered our food and it took well over an hour for us to get our food, with tables coming in way after us getting their food before us. Overall from when we asked for a table to when we got our food it took about 2 hours and 45 minutes. We ordered the Spaghetti Alle Vongole, which was a spaghetti with clams. 13 out of the 15 clans were sealed shut, meaning it was dead before cooking, and inedible as well as dangerous and unsafe. We let the server know and he agreed saying not to eat them and he took the dish back. We assumed that it would be taken off the bill so we didn't go back and ask. However when we received the bill it was still on there, we went inside and talked the lady with a presumed prejudice against tourists and she was very firm on her answer of not getting a refund or replacement dish, she was extremely rude and refused to give any discount or partial refund at all. When we asked if we could at least get a free pastry she started yelling and continued to be extremely rude to us. She clearly hated tourists and I do not recommend this place, go to a restaurant in Santa Margarita or Rapallo instead.

01/06/2026: My family and I stopped at this beachfront bar for an aperitivo. Aside from the questionably made spritzes, the real problem is the woman behind the bar. To say she's rude and impolite is an understatement. Absolutely not recommended.

31/05/2026: I have to say that the staff here, including the owner, are really nice. We had several coffees throughout the day and ate lunch, and it was all delicious! (The burger was wonderful.) Congratulations!

06/07/2026: Oh my, how pitiful this place is! The service is nonexistent. If you want to order inside, they say you have to order at the table, but the waiter is either deaf or incompetent because we waited 30 minutes at the table with no service. Obviously, locals are given priority, and tourists are treated very poorly. In recent years, the coffee was acceptable (nothing special) and the croissants were decent—there are definitely better places in Rapallo. It's a shame that a tourist destination like Rapallo doesn't teach tourism businesses (food, hotels, etc.) how to treat tourists (who spend a lot of money there). Without tourism, Rapallo wouldn't exist.
