The cuisine is simple, traditional, and simply unbelievably delicious. There's no attempt to make everything seem modern or artificially extravagant – instead, you get honest Italian food prepared with love and passion. You can taste it in every dish. The ingredients seem fresh, the dishes authentic, and everything is reminiscent of real, homemade food, just as you'd expect in Italy. You immediately sense that tradition and hospitality are paramount here. The staff is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. An absolute must for anyone who wants to experience genuine Italian cuisine! Important: Be sure to reserve in advance, as this place doesn't seem to be a hidden gem anymore. However, if you're expecting a modern or particularly chic atmosphere, this might not be the place for you. This restaurant doesn't impress with luxury or design, but with honest, heartfelt, and incredibly delicious food. And that's exactly what makes this place so special! 20/05/2026: I gave the ambience 5 stars not because it's luxurious but because it's exactly what it is: a trattoria. Good, traditional food, carefully prepared with excellent ingredients, at a truly fair price. Just as a trattoria should be.

04/05/2026: I was in Rapallo with friends, and Pubbino was our regular stop for two nights in a row. Excellent cocktails, and the owners are super friendly and welcoming!

05/05/2026: I've been several times on different trips and always want to go back. The food is very good, it's very clean (which isn't very common in Italy), and the service is excellent. The price is very reasonable for the quality.

18/03/2026: We've always had a great experience. The pizza is delicious, the Recco-style focaccia isn't always up to par, and only double portions are available. The desserts are good, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the place feels like a family-run business. Prices are perhaps a little above average for a place a bit out of the way. Just be aware that it's always very crowded, especially on holidays and weekends, and it's best to book to be on the safe side. They also have a large, pleasant veranda for the warmer months.

23/10/2025: First time I've had pizza here, I was passing through for work. I had cooked ham, mushrooms, and sausage. Just seeing the preparation made me immediately realize that the pizza chef, the owner, and the lady who makes the pizzas know their stuff! Excellent pizza, thin yet crispy, not overloaded with ingredients but with just the right amount of everything, even the tomato sauce, cooked just right, doesn't leave that raw or acidic taste! The "light" dough doesn't weigh you down like a brick in the stomach. They still use their beloved wood-fired oven! Which gives the pizzas a unique flavor! They were kind, and from the short time I was there, they seemed very friendly. It's a shame I can't return because they really make excellent pizza. But never say never, if I ever get the chance, I'll definitely come back for another pizza and I'd recommend it to EVERYONE!

19/12/2025: The food quality is excellent and the products are really fresh. There's also a wide selection of ingredients! The place works well because after you order, there are these little remote controls that ring when it's time to pick up your order from the counter.

12/05/2026: I rarely ever leave a review. But I had to take the time and write one for Le Cupole. From the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere, it was one of the best dining experiences I have had. I have a severe peanut and nut allergy and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They provided little surprise dishes in between courses that were creative, delicious, and unique. Stunning views to make it even more magical. Could not recommend more !
