17/01/2025: Even though it was around noon, it wasn't closed yet, so we ate pizza. It was different from the pizzas we normally eat, especially the dough and the edges, but it wasn't too bad, the taste was average. It's warm inside and the orders came quickly. However, you should not buy 3-4 euro cooperto for a 6-7 euro pizza. They charge half the service fee for 4 people. Drinks are very expensive, can of coke is about 4 euros. For the region, it is seriously difficult to find parking nearby, you may have to park very far away.

04/12/2024: Really delicious pizzas! The best we tried on our trip through Italy by motorhome. The guys who run the pizzeria are really friendly. Very, very economical price and quality of 10. We had dinner there 2 weeks ago and have made our way back to Spain to pick up some takeaway pizzas.

21/01/2025: Authentic Ligurian trattoria, efficient and polite service, everything homemade, amazing farinata, amazing stuffed vegetables (full of marjoram as we Ligurians like it). To top it all off, there is an excellent choice of wines, including by the glass, and honest prices, especially compared to the hand-made process and the quality and freshness of the products!

28/01/2025: Small restaurant in the Cavi di Lavagna hamlet, developed in a single environment, furnished in a simple and rather anonymous way. The facilities are very well kept and clean. The menu is quite varied, between land and sea proposals, with a prevalence of the latter, and even some vegetarian options. However, I found too much insistence on the creams: crispy red mullet on pumpkin and chilli pepper CREAM with drops of gorgonzola, stewed calamari on chickpea CREAM, grilled calamari on pepper CREAM and balsamic vinegar reduction, grilled octopus on burrata CREAM, flan of black cabbage on fontina FONDUE, braised onion on pecorino cream flavored with vegetable charcoal... Cuisine between highs and lows: stewed cooking is good, for example, while grilled cooking is less successful. Both the squid and the octopus lack the contrast between the crunchy crust effect on the outside and the softness on the inside. There is a certain rubberiness, which inevitably becomes more pronounced as the dish cools. Portions in general are rather small: the second courses look like appetizers and are never accompanied by a side dish, with the exception of the Ligurian-style catch of the day. The service is very formal, but with some flaws. For example, the entree served even before the diners have chosen the course and have at least washed their hands. Even more so since it is a cheese focaccia, which should therefore be enjoyed hot. It's also embarrassing to still have the last bite of a dish and find the waiter's hand already tucked under your arm and asking: "Can I take away?". Generally speaking, I found a lack of willingness to explain the dishes. Note of merit for the Sarzana EVO oil made available to each table: excellent quality product. High bill in proportion to quality and above all quantity. Even coffee at 2.50 euros, without small pastries or digestives, is hardly justifiable. It's difficult to eat well and satisfy your fill for less than 50 euros each.
