24/03/2026: Ordered three cakes, one after the other, to celebrate your 18th birthday on three different occasions: the first, a shortcrust pastry with custard and fruit (let Mrs. Ester recommend it; you'll be in good hands; they use the freshest and most seasonal ingredients available, with a few embellishments); the second, a caramelized rose and raspberry millefeuille... the most spectacular; the third, Mrs. Ester's signature, a chocolate and raspberry cake that was simply fabulous. Compliments from everyone who saw and tasted it... a resounding success, actually three!

19/03/2026: A truly pleasant discovery. I've been coming to Lavagna for a few years but had never considered this place. A truly lovely location; we ate in the back in a truly beautiful garden. Excellent service, truly good food, and excellent value. Highly recommended and definitely worth repeating.

21/03/2026: Ligurian cuisine, tasty and refined. The dishes—those not on the menu—are based on seasonal ingredients: the cabbage rolls stuffed with sea bream are excellent! The capponmagro, although without the traditional vinegar-soaked biscuit, I found it simple yet flavorful, thanks to its generous green sauce. Very friendly staff, excellent service; perhaps the only thing that's a bit dated is the restaurant itself. Definitely worth trying again!

16/12/2025: We stumbled upon this place somewhat by chance, but we've never left! A truly intimate place, the owners are welcoming and incredibly friendly, and the food...out of this world! The best Florentine steak I've ever tasted. Highly recommended.

24/09/2025: AMAZING. Wonderful service and friendliness. Friendliness too. The owners were truly friendly and approachable. I've never eaten such good meat in my life. We had a tagliata and two fillets that melted in your mouth. Perfectly cooked. Wonderful flavor. It wasn't just food, it was truly a spectacular experience, definitely worth repeating. The price was absolutely fair for the quality and freshness of the products. Considering we had a tagliata, two fillets, two glasses of wine, and two desserts, we really spent more than fair. Thank you for this wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back ❤️

13/02/2026: Excellent stay! The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The mattress is excellent, providing a truly above-average level of sleep. The breakfast is complete, with everything you need, and high-quality, always fresh products. The on-site parking is also convenient, a detail that's not a given and much appreciated. The real added value, however, is the staff: extremely kind, helpful, and professional, always ready to make guests feel at ease. An absolutely positive experience, highly recommended.

16/03/2026: Winter 2026. It's been a while since we've been back, due to a bad memory from about two years ago. Management has obviously changed since then, and we were completely satisfied: from the focaccia to the warm octopus salad, from the grilled tuna with excellent vegetables to the desserts. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was informal and welcoming. Worth a try, or if you prefer, return! Previously: Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The cuisine, based on Ligurian specialties, was truly excellent. Freshly caught fish was very good and well-cooked. Worth a try. We returned on a Saturday evening in June, and I recommend booking so you don't leave empty-handed. This evening, the marinated anchovies were very good. Local craft beer was excellent. Trying them was exceptional. Linguine with clams was very good. The apple pie, tiramisu, and chocolate cake were very good. The service and staff were excellent. I highly recommend it!

That's what I received when I asked about the €29 bill for a €16 plate of spaghetti with clams and bottarga, a €6 glass of Vermentino (the price wasn't listed on the menu and was told to me at the cashier), filtered tap water, and a coffee. For a quick lunch break, it's a bit high, but above all, the answer is disarming.
