28/06/2026: A pleasant experience. Looking for a nice place for an aperitivo after returning from the beach, we discovered this place. The girls were very kind, the food was excellent, the drinks were quality, the prices were great, and the garden was lovely. Definitely worth a try! We'll be back!

08/08/2026: This is our favorite restaurant in Lavagna, and one we’ve been coming back to. We love its small, authentic menu, refined dishes made with fresh ingredients, the kindness of the owner, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
The spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga are outstanding, the frittura di pesce is perfectly crispy (never gummy), and the tuna is always incredibly fresh, often straight from the day’s catch. It’s these little details—the quality of the ingredients, the care in the cooking, and the genuine hospitality—that set this restaurant apart from the usual tourist crowd.
A true local gem that we’re always happy to return to.
06/08/2026: We had a lovely meal, very good food at reasonable prices. Good kids' menu, and gluten free friendly options for adults. The service is wonderful and the location is great!

18/08/2026: Dinner with friends... excellent welcome and table service. Excellent food and helpful service. Attentive wine recommendation for the dishes. Fast service. The restaurant has a beautiful panoramic sea view.
Free parking. Excellent value.
05/08/2026: Discovered this restaurant by chance. A welcoming place with a beautiful view. It's impossible to find anything wrong with this dinner. The dishes were exceptional, even with unusual pairings. The owner (I believe) was very kind and passionate about describing the dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

The portions are adequate; the service is simple and fast.
The internal courtyard is beautiful.

15/08/2026: I showed up here on August 14, 2026, right after work. I looked like a nobody, but they welcomed me kindly and served me beautifully.
I had the ravioli with baby octopus ragù, delicious, and for the main course, the skate wings, which were off the menu, were AMAZING.
All accompanied by good house wine.
Since I wasn't sure what to choose for dessert, they offered me two half portions (and who would offer that to you?).
The wait between each course was just right.
The fish is also their own; you couldn't ask for more traditional fare.
Highly recommended!
08/08/2026: Everything was good. The only flaw I could find is that the dishes are always a bit the same. As for the service, I'd say it's fast and efficient, and the atmosphere is a bit outdated. But overall, that's fine because the restaurant is located in the center of Cavi Borgo, which is why I find it quaint.
And then, the spaghetti we ordered had really small shells, all broken, so it was a bit of a nuisance. I recommend it, very good.

08/08/2026: My partner and I had a delightful experience at Cavi Borgo. We were welcomed into an elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere, with friendly but not overly formal waiters. Excellent food, perfectly timed, reasonably priced, and generous portions. The owner, a sommelier, personally knows the wineries on the list and gave us excellent recommendations. The wine list offers a wide selection of Italian and international wines, including many natural wines (oddly enough!). For wine connoisseurs, there's an excellent cellar. Recommended for a romantic dinner or a group dinner, but less so for large groups with children. Overall, this is the best restaurant in the area so far.

13/06/2026: The wines by the glass are anything but ordinary: direct French imports, small Ligurian and Italian producers, and very fair prices. The woman who served us (I think she was also the owner) was very knowledgeable and friendly. This will be my regular post-beach stop before returning to the city!

02/08/2026: An evening with the family. The owner was immediately there, very friendly and helpful, and explained the entire menu very well. Truly excellent food, a beautiful location in the historic center of Lavagna, excellent value. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

10/08/2026: Terrible. Even though we booked a table an hour in advance, and arrived on time, our table was taken away and they wanted to relocate us to a table far from the restaurant. It wasn't very pleasant. To give our table to some of the manager's crafty friends, who showed up at the last minute without a reservation, my husband, my young son, and I left. We won't be returning if that's what respect is. I wouldn't recommend anyone accustomed to professionalism to dine there.

20/07/2026: Excellent bakery with a wide selection of pastries and pastries. The focaccia genovese is simply amazing, and the staff is very welcoming.
19/06/2026: I was a customer at the bakery today. I bought water and a drink. When paying, I gave the lady 3 euros, but she took 2 euros and didn't give me change. She kept 1 euro for herself. It's a shame, dear lady, to rob customers like that. In this age of public opinion, where anyone can leave a review, it's a shame! Very unprofessional behavior!
