24/11/2024: We spent 5 days in Liguria, spectacular. We had dinner in several restaurants but the Top of the Top was La Lampara. Kudos to the fantastic cuisine, very high quality and service. But a special thank you to Mr. Renato who made the evening even more beautiful and interesting. See you soon in SOLDA. The South Tyroleans.

15/12/2024: Very atmospheric place, excellent for an evening as a couple, but also suitable for group outings. Friendly service and attentive to the customer's needs (for a friend who was pregnant and lactose intolerant they made many proposals to accommodate her). Good and tasty food.

24/11/2024: Last night we had dinner at this nice place located in the historic center of Lavagna. It offers classic Tuscan cuisine, but with some interesting reinterpretations resulting from the lively creative inspiration of the chef. Small but very pleasant environment, the owner comes personally to describe the off-menu dishes down to the smallest detail, enriching an already quite rich list of dishes. Good value wine list, from which we chose a Chianti Classico "Perano" 2022 from the Frescobaldi Company, one of the milestones of Tuscan winemaking, which adapted well to the food savored. As an appetizer we shared coccoli with raw ham and stracchino, we then continued with porchetta and truffle tagliatelle (really divine!!!) and pici alla carbonorcina (a kind of carbonara revisited with sausage), which was also very good. As second courses we had the Chianti fillet (cooked perfectly rare as I like it!) with caramelized onions and baked potatoes and the peposo with purée and fried polenta, also very good. Finally the desserts, the classic cantucci with vin santo and a crumbled cantucci with mascarpone and chocolate chips. A water and two coffees conclude a dinner that is truly difficult to forget, for a final bill (including a small and welcome discount) of 140 Euros for two, certainly not cheap, but to be considered absolutely correct for the great quality of the dishes we took and the raw materials used are top-notch. We can't wait to return, also to try some of the other very tempting dishes that we saw being brought to nearby tables, perhaps including the Florentine steak. Highly recommended place for lovers of Tuscan cuisine! Well done!

19/01/2025: Prenotato per un pranzo,dove sicuramente c’era molta gente,quindi comprendo lo stress del personale ma a contatto con il pubblico,avere cura e sorridere oltre che a salutare quando si arriva al tavolo nn guasta e nn costa nulla.Sono dettagli fondamentali per far tornare la clientela.

14/01/2025: The manager of the restaurant is a very knowledgeable and competent person, an excellent chef, and a great cheese expert, so much so that he proposes themed evenings every year in November. The dishes are very good, often with special seasonal 'themes'. The service is very efficient. Prices in line with a restaurant of this level.

04/12/2024: Really delicious pizzas! The best we tried on our trip through Italy by motorhome. The guys who run the pizzeria are really friendly. Very, very economical price and quality of 10. We had dinner there 2 weeks ago and have made our way back to Spain to pick up some takeaway pizzas.

21/10/2024: Fixed stop every morning for a top-notch breakfast. Textbook cappuccino and stratospheric focaccia, even the croissants are delicious. Also an excellent place for a quick lunch break, truly appetizing sandwiches and stuffed focaccias, the products used are all of excellent quality. The owners are very nice and helpful. Competitive prices especially for the lunch break in relation to the excellent sandwiches offered.

26/12/2024: 3⅓⭐️ THE 4th STAR is NEAR - Historic venue in Lavagna, adequate and always up to par. - Little choice on the menu especially for those intolerant (lactose, etc.), but available for variations in the dishes. - Good raw materials used. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LOCATION in a characteristic forgivable little alleyway of Lavagna near the road (about 20m) there are however few nearby car parks, but by turning a little, a short distance away, you can find something, after all you are in the centre. Typical atmosphere of taverns (almost like Sciamadde) of the past, a well-preserved place, with the inevitable majesty of the wood-fired oven from which a simply sublime farinata comes out. BOOKING RECOMMENDED (read necessary). ⭐️⭐️⭐️ SERVICE Appropriate for the venue, very kind, helpful and sufficiently present. A few details missed (1 dish not asked for and a couple out of time). ⭐️⭐️⭐️ MENU Suitable for the venue, but a few more courses would help with the experience. The dishes for intolerances are not well defined, but it is sufficient to ask to adapt the dish, unfortunately, in some cases, adapting a little. The raw materials used are good, many of them locally sourced (at least so it seems). The dishes tasted were almost all balanced. Adequate portions, but not abundant (gluttons be warned). THE FLOUR IS EXCELLENT. It is not forgivable to leave without even a taste. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ PRICE Adequate.
