15/02/2026: Eight of us went today for lunch with friends. The owner welcomed us warmly, as did the very kind waitresses. The dishes were exquisite, especially the venison tortello and the goulash. The wine list was also excellent, with direct selection from the cellar. Service was fast and attentive. We were truly pleased with everything, from the food to the service. Excellent value!

After a visit to the Palazzo Farnese, we enjoyed the courtesy, warmth, and quality this small restaurant offered. Just steps from the tourist attractions, it's a comfortable stroll away. With its carefully selected wines and refined menu, it's a perfect choice for relaxing and being pampered by people who put love and passion into their work.

08/02/2026: Rude I won't comment on the food, which I presume is excellent. Two of us showed up with a baby a few months old, and we were told to wait, saying a table would be free in half an hour. We returned after a while and were told that the people at the table had already reached their second table. So we waited outside for another twenty minutes, asked for an update, and were told they were at the cafe. After another fifteen minutes, the waitress came out and told us, verbatim, that she was sorry, but the gentlemen had no intention of leaving the table, so they wouldn't let us sit. Something like this had never happened to us in over 15 years of frequent restaurant visits around the world. We're not that bad; let us know why you didn't want us.

07/12/2025: Anyone looking for a culinary break, perhaps after a tour of Palazzo Farnese, will find this the perfect place. A lovely restaurant with a typical Tuscia menu, but with a focus on the raw materials, impeccable service from all four waitresses, and prices affordable for every budget. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: I stayed and dined at this hotel and I must say I was very satisfied: the atmosphere was well-kept and clean, my room was equipped with every comfort, and I had a beautiful lake view. The owners were polite and welcoming. An experience I absolutely must repeat.

10/03/2026: I went there on Sunday 8th March for the first time and I had a great time, a family atmosphere with Mario, a very kind person who makes you feel at home right away... then the exceptional pizza, very large, very topped and delicious... all the desserts were super good because the 4 of us shared them... highly recommended

01/01/2026: I wanted to thank the restaurant owners for canceling my reservation through The Fork without even a phone call to apologize. This put eight people in a difficult situation during the holiday season. You're certainly skilled in the kitchen (obviously, trustworthy, since you don't let us eat!), but to say you're incredibly friendly is an understatement! I'm writing this to warn other diners who were delighted by the positive reviews, as I was.

11/02/2026: My reviews tend to be long, so for those in a hurry, I'll say right away that this place is highly recommended! Now let's get into the details: 1) Location: A magnificent 500-year-old structure on Via Nicolai, the long central street that leads to the foot of the magnificent Palazzo Farnese. 2) Ownership: A husband and wife team run the place, and as we all know, family-run business minimizes risk. Mrs. Ilaria, working in the dining room with Germana, and Ilaria's husband in the kitchen, creating excellent dishes, truly form the perfect team. 3) Service: Ilaria's kindness and helpfulness gave us moments of absolute pleasure, with service that was never intrusive but also never absent. 4) Food Quality: From the excellent mixed fried fish, to the excellent (and beautiful to look at) grilled dishes, to the interesting and delicious first courses, and the desserts, everything that arrived at the table was met with admiration and a great taste. The generous portions are typical of places that do well, and therefore cater not only to tourists but also, and above all, to locals. Locals, especially in this area, prefer these generous portions. It's good to know this before ordering... 5) The price: not a cent more than you'd hoped to pay!!! Exceptional!! I can only say good things about this place, and if you're in the area and looking for a place to stay, Ilaria will also welcome you to her B&B. Could you ask for more?

08/06/2025: June 2nd we booked at this place, because it was recommended on the museum website, for lunch. Some of the first courses indicated on the menu were not present. For the second courses of meat, limited choice We were a little disappointed.

21/10/2025: Beautiful lakefront location with a lovely terrace. We celebrated our baby's baptism here and enjoyed both the excellent fish and meat dishes. Gluten-free options are also available. Thanks to all the staff.

03/12/2025: The tranquility of winter, coupled with the perfect weather today, was breathtaking. Waking up to a misty, ethereal landscape was captivating. The calls of waterbirds added a touch of life. After sunrise, the water and sky merged seamlessly, reflecting everything on the lake. This is just a photo taken with a regular phone – a true paradise on earth! The cake the owner baked for us had a flavor I'd never tasted in China before. The sweetness was just right, not cloying, with a hint of citrus. At that moment, I didn't want any other flavor to overpower it. A true gem!
