The very welcoming and friendly staff, led by owners Alessandro and Berni, make you feel immediately at ease, and they only serve as a precursor to the local delicacies offered by Berni's simple yet refined cuisine. Generous portions will make your eyes pop, and between the fresh pasta and local sauces, there's a vast selection of prime meats masterfully prepared by Alessandro. The excellent wine list offers excellent drinks without spending a fortune, and the homemade desserts are just the finishing touch to a beautiful gastronomic experience. Come visit, you won't regret it!

18/01/2026: A high-end restaurant for service and food, with a focus on hospitality and tradition. Beautiful dining room with properly spaced tables, fragrant and spotlessly clean restrooms, and vintage and modern tables and service, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The pici alla amatriciana are excellent. Homemade pici are "maschi" (courageously thick and crispy) and incredibly tasty. The pizzetta fritts with largo and chestnuts is spectacular, and I recommend it as both an appetizer and dessert if you're feeling daring. The sweet and sour rabbit is excellent and plentiful. Hazelnut parfait is simply amazing. Average price is around 40-50 euros. Congratulations indeed.

07/12/2025: Anyone looking for a culinary break, perhaps after a tour of Palazzo Farnese, will find this the perfect place. A lovely restaurant with a typical Tuscia menu, but with a focus on the raw materials, impeccable service from all four waitresses, and prices affordable for every budget. Highly recommended.

06/01/2026: I went to this restaurant for a birthday, I ordered fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and I found a surprise: the plate was full of worms, we immediately notified the waitress who reported it to the kitchen and in the end they neither apologized nor offered me anything else to eat, also I ordered coffee and even the teaspoon was dirty, I hope it was just an oversight.

The calls of waterbirds added a touch of life. After sunrise, the water and sky merged seamlessly, reflecting everything on the lake. This is just a photo taken with a regular phone – a true paradise on earth! The cake the owner baked for us had a flavor I'd never tasted in China before. The sweetness was just right, not cloying, with a hint of citrus. At that moment, I didn't want any other flavor to overpower it. A true gem!

09/02/2026: A deeply disappointing experience that completely ruined our impression of this place. We arrived as a group of three, and there was a free table along the wall that would have been perfectly suitable for us. However, a member of the staff refused to let us sit there without providing any clear explanation. The table was not marked as reserved and remained empty for almost the entire time we were there. Instead, we were seated at another four-person table in the middle of the dining area. There was no apparent logic behind this decision: there were three of us, the table we asked for stayed unused, yet we were denied the obvious and more comfortable option without any explanation or reasonable alternative. This approach to seating feels unprofessional and creates a sense of indifference toward guests. When a restaurant has available tables but still refuses to accommodate a simple and reasonable request, it inevitably leads to frustration. Service is a crucial part of the dining experience, and in this case it was the main drawback.

08/02/2026: The place is small and crowded (mainly due to the unsuitable decor). Poor service (especially the owner's lack of courtesy). Overrated food. One of our pizzas had charred edges and tasted like ash. The pizzas were large, but the toppings were sparse. All for the not-so-cheap price of €12-13 per pizza. Awful experience.

01/01/2026: I wanted to thank the restaurant owners for canceling my reservation through The Fork without even a phone call to apologize. This put eight people in a difficult situation during the holiday season. You're certainly skilled in the kitchen (obviously, trustworthy, since you don't let us eat!), but to say you're incredibly friendly is an understatement! I'm writing this to warn other diners who were delighted by the positive reviews, as I was.
