In addition to the à la carte menu, this secluded and almost hidden osteria, located on a side street off the main road, offers an interesting, yet varied, two-course set menu featuring both land and sea dishes at a reasonable price. The seafood dishes are delicious. A pleasant, no-frills location, with efficient and courteous service. Well done.

10/10/2025: A pleasant surprise!!! We walked in for dinner by chance, feeling skeptical, but as time went by, more and more positive things emerged. Family-run, fast, precise, and very friendly service, excellent food, and a very good value. We'll definitely be back!!! 🤗

The table service is good, fast, and attentive to every request. However, the place was cold, and I didn't feel at all comfortable. I hope this discomfort was also due to the very unstable weather conditions at the moment, which, however, should not be underestimated by the staff.

02/06/2026: During a work day, we found ourselves in Velletri looking for a restaurant serving home-style cuisine, and the experience at Il Momento was truly delightful. The young woman who served us was extremely friendly and professional, and carefully advised us on what to order. The chef, for his part, was helpful and attentive, doing everything possible to accommodate our requests. We arrived around 2:00 PM, and some dishes were no longer available. Far from being a flaw, for us this is almost a plus: it conveys the feeling of authentic cuisine, made on the spot, without dishes being prepared and stored for hours. Everything we ate was authentic, tasty, and carefully prepared. A special mention goes to the tiramisu, made fresh on the spot: truly excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the area. Also noteworthy is the convenient parking: we had no trouble finding a spot. We will definitely be back. Truly well done!

07/12/2025: I'm giving it a neutral rating because the experience was two-faced. I'll start with the positive: the food was good, and we were satisfied with the quality of the sushi, and there's nothing to complain about. However, there's a lot of confusion about the prices. We ordered takeout with a 25% discount. According to the prices on the menu, we should have paid €61.10, but at the register, the total was €66.90. We only realized this once we got home. We called the restaurant, thinking there was a weekend surcharge, but they simply told us that the menu wasn't up to date and they'd forgotten to notify us of the increase. The most disappointing aspect is the communication management: when paying, we asked for flyers/paper menus to give to friends and family to advertise, and even then, we weren't told that the prices listed above were incorrect. It's a shame, because the food is worth it, but much more transparency with customers is needed.

03/06/2026: We were here yesterday for a communion and it looks like a beautiful place... the service was all ok even if for the appetizer I had to wait 10 minutes compared to the rest of our family... the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms were very good but the risotto with asparagus and speck didn't thrill me, the meat was good but the welcome fried food is the thing that makes me feel like I'm in heaven... the supplì were lacking in salt as were the battered vegetables and the pizzas were dry... overall I think I'll come back because a bad evening can happen to anyone.
