I've been several times for lunch and dinner, and I have to praise everyone, including the kitchen and the waiters. Fine, authentic cuisine, rooted in tradition. Located in the historic center of Velletri, this restaurant welcomes guests in a rustic, warm, and familiar setting, where the atmosphere is authentic and convivial. The cuisine is home-style and faithful to Velletri's traditions: flavorful dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The pasta is homemade, and it shows: authentic, flavorful, and with that artisanal touch that makes all the difference. Each course is well-cooked and plentiful, perfect for those who love good, old-fashioned cuisine. The staff is truly impeccable: kind, smiling, and welcoming, they make you feel right at home. Not to mention the wine cellar, stocked with their own wines: we tasted one of their wines and it was truly delicious, perfect for accompanying lunch. The homemade desserts were also excellent, a perfect ending to a quality meal. The only complaint was the wait between courses, which was slightly longer than expected. No big deal, though, because overall we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. In short, La Vecchia Taverna is an authentic, welcoming, and quality restaurant, perfect for those seeking authentic flavors and a warm, rustic atmosphere. Highly recommended for a pleasant lunch in the heart of Velletri.

11/06/2025: Truly all five stars this sushi lounge in Velletri, an unexpected wonderful location and culinary experience.. delicious sushi and generous portions accompanied by a remarkable wine cellar. You can also have an aperitif until 8.00 pm. Attentive and very kind staff always ready to satisfy every need. The location then delicious, an outdoor area with lights and flowering plants, lounge music in the background that make the atmosphere unique! excellent value for money, I can't wait to come back!!!

19/08/2025: A truly enjoyable evening! The staff was extremely kind and professional. The table settings were elegant and meticulously crafted. I ordered the tartare with a glass of wine, expertly recommended by the waiter. Everything was simply perfect!

18/05/2025: A very pleasant experience for the palate that is surprised by a truly successful gourmet cuisine. Fish is the king of the restaurant and the chef knows how to treat it as such, enhancing its aromas and flavors. An experience to be repeated by associating the meal with the cocktail path (a different cocktail for each course).

13/09/2025: We always go there because it's well stocked with spices, ginger, nutmeg, almonds, and many others. It's also a roaster that makes very good coffee. It's a small shop located on the main street in the center of Velletri, near the fruit market.

17/03/2025: Finally a good pizzeria! Fantastic and super digestible pizza! And the fried foods? Fantastic! We tried almost all of them and I must say we had a great meal... we didn't even give up dessert! Everything top!

30/08/2025: Walking into a trattoria and being greeted with a smile is priceless. This welcome is reflected in the food. The service is exceptional, and the portions are generous and flavorful. The prices are truly reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

In addition to the à la carte menu, this secluded and almost hidden osteria, located on a side street off the main road, offers an interesting, yet varied, two-course set menu featuring both land and sea dishes at a reasonable price. The seafood dishes are delicious. A pleasant, no-frills location, with efficient and courteous service. Well done.

10/10/2025: A pleasant surprise!!! We walked in for dinner by chance, feeling skeptical, but as time went by, more and more positive things emerged. Family-run, fast, precise, and very friendly service, excellent food, and a very good value. We'll definitely be back!!! 🤗
