30/03/2025: By chance today we were in Fiano Romano and my husband and I decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant. Welcoming place and super friendly staff. We ate artichokes, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms (delicious) and fettuccine with artichokes, bacon and pecorino. This was also excellent.
The bread is homemade.. A delight. But the thing that really left me speechless was the strawberry tiramisu, with homemade ladyfingers too!!!
In the end, I asked Fabrizio (the owner), why they had chosen to call the place "il gufo e la coccinella" and he invited us to discover it by ourselves, reading the story that is written on the menu. Well, I was moved. Go and discover it, it's worth it!

27/03/2025: Generally speaking, the food is good.
Typical Roman/Lazio home cooking with the addition of other regional Italian dishes to the menu.
The staff is polite and helpful, but, in my opinion, a little sparse compared to the number of customers.
There is a large outdoor space that, unfortunately, they only use for a few months (including the warmer ones in which eating outside, especially at lunchtime, is more of a torture than a pleasure.
Overall, it is still pleasant to eat there

09/04/2025: Una piacevolissima scoperta a Fiano Romano! La pizzeria Mater conquista subito con un ambiente curato e accogliente, perfetto sia per una cena informale che per una serata tra amici. La pizza è davvero eccellente: impasto leggero e ben lievitato, ingredienti freschissimi e combinazioni di sapori originali ma equilibrate. Ottima anche la selezione di birre artigianali e dolci fatti in casa. Il personale è gentile, veloce e sempre disponibile. Consigliatissima per chi cerca qualità e passione in ogni dettaglio!
06/04/2025: What can I say, everything is perfect, modern ones would say that here you don't eat a pizza but you are part of an experience. I don't know if these are the right words but the gourmet pizza is really delicious. Try it to believe it

IO E LA MIA FAMIGLIA SIAMO STATI RAPINATI NEL PARCHEGGIO, E LA COSA PEGGIORE È CHE…
Abbiamo fatto attenzione a fermarci in un posto per pranzare, dove c'erano cartelli che indicavano che il parcheggio era sorvegliato da telecamere di sicurezza. Nel parcheggio erano presenti cartelli che avvisavano della presenza di telecamere di sorveglianza. Non avevamo ancora iniziato a mangiare quando siamo stati chiamati da un cliente che ci ha informato che i finestrini della nostra auto erano stati rotti e la portiera era stata aperta. Quando ci siamo avvicinati alla macchina ci siamo resi conto che ci avevano rubato tutte le borse.
Ho chiesto subito all'impiegato se potevamo avere accesso alle telecamere di sicurezza. Ci ha informato che non c'erano telecamere di sicurezza, le ho detto e le ho mostrato che nel parcheggio c'erano cartelli che informavano della presenza di telecamere di parcheggio. Lei ha insistito dicendo che non c'era. Le ho chiesto di chiamare il direttore e mi ha detto che era lei.
Ho immediatamente inviato un'e-mail all'azienda richiedendo la registrazione e mi hanno risposto che le telecamere servivano al cliente per monitorare la propria auto mentre era lì a fare merenda.
I cartelli indicano che le immagini delle telecamere sono disponibili 24 ore su 24.
In altre parole, PUBBLICITÀ INGANNEVOLE! RISPOSTE IRRAGIONEVOLI E CONTRADDITTORIE! HO CREDUTO AL MONITORAGGIO BUGIO!
