14/10/2025: Our favorite pizzeria in Civitavecchia. We recommend trying their parmigiana, which is delicious! Prices average around €12-15 per kilo.
11/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. I only lingered near the cash register, but those few minutes made me feel at home. The owners are genuine and courteous, busy but attentive. The prices are excellent, especially considering the quality of the ingredients used to make the pizzas and the attention to detail in selecting the dough.
The pizza was good, not burnt, and crispy where it should be.
If I return to Civitavecchia, I know where to dine.

17/02/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and quaint. Both the sandwiches and the dishes were excellent, and the beers are good. In the summer, you can also eat outside.
21/12/2025: While in Civitavecchia Italy before or cruise the next day. We decided to wander around and stumbled upon this wonderful Irish Pub, The Black Lodge.
It was a wonderful experience and added to an already great day.
They have lots of spirits available for shots and of course lots of wonderful beers to try. (If only we had the time to experience them all)
The owner greeted us and was so friendly and inviting it made our short stay really enjoyable.
I would highly recommend you stopping by this wonderful Irish Pub, The Black Lodge, located in Civitavecchia, Italy.

04/12/2025: We were two French couples having lunch at this friendly, welcoming restaurant where we received a warm welcome. The food was delicious, the service a true pleasure, and the prices excellent value for money.
This couple who own the restaurant provided us with a wonderful and enjoyable experience, being so attentive and friendly.
We loved it!
29/11/2025: Truly delicious Apulian delicacies, excellent service, friendliness, love, and passion that you can see, feel, and taste in every dish! And last but not least, in addition to the Apulian pasticciotto, there are excellent desserts from a superb Neapolitan pastry shop! We'll be back again and again! 👏🫶

04/04/2026: Truly exceptional pinsa! Light, fragrant, and above all, super digestible dough. Quality ingredients and well-balanced flavors. Kudos also to the staff: polite, helpful, and always attentive to the customer. Definitely a place to return to!

17/05/2026: Distributore Esso is an excellent petrol station! It’s modern, clean, and very well maintained, with bright, clear lighting that makes it easy and safe to stop at any time, even at night. The fuel quality is great, and the pumps are easy to use and always in perfect working order. The shop inside is well-stocked with snacks, drinks, and essentials, and everything is organized neatly. The staff are friendly, quick, and always ready to help. Plenty of space to move around, and it’s very conveniently located. Reliable, efficient, and a great place to refuel — highly recommended! ⛽✨
17/05/2026: 🤩 Saturday morning, I came in for a coffee to go and bought some tobacco. The lady at the register was super kind and helpful. ☕ I received excellent service at the counter too! I even asked for an empty paper cup because my wife had a headache and needed to take some medication...very helpful and kind. 🌟 A truly place where you can stop! ✨

22/01/2026: Family lunch, accompanied by a fresh seafood appetizer and generous first courses (spaghetti with clams), and the tonnarelli all'imperial, a delight. Followed by fantastic fried fish and unique and much-appreciated desserts. Impeccable service staff, always smiling and attentive. Welcoming atmosphere, fair prices for the quality offered. A regular for years now. Definitely worth a try. See you soon!

At Taberna, you eat and drink like in few other places (and I'm not just talking about Civitavecchia), so go and try it!
(Please refrain from people who go out once every two years and cheapskates who ignore the ingredients.)

14/09/2025: An incredible experience, truly a voracious pizza, but be careful not to overdo it. For example, a kilo and a half of pizza for two people is a lot.
If the staff's car doesn't start, be kind and help. The flavor and dough are full, flavorful, and never tire. The marinara is amazing.
