Mastro Titta In Civitavecchia

Fantastic little gem in Civitavecchia. Stayed one night before our cruise and this place was amazing. Not really sure what we had but it was wonderful. Everything was fresh and the taste was incredible. English was not their second language but I don't care. I tried my hand at Italian and they were very nice even though I was terrible. I will definitely be back when ever we are in Civitavecchia.

Before the ferry, we happened upon it, the pizza was good, the fried foods a little less so, and the focaccia.

Just had the most wonderful slice of pizza with anchovies and cream cheese. So fresh and delicious and the two girls running the restaurant hole in wall place very pleasant & Charming. Had an Italian lemon bitters drink Called Il Nostro Chinotto Also, extremely good!!! To drink in the pizza €6.50. Perfect!!!

A must-see before catching the ferries to Civitavecchia, to sample the hot food specialties offered by Mastro Titta. The photo speaks for itself.

The pizza is delicious, and they have a good variety. The downside is the price. We asked beforehand and were told that each large pizza cost €40, but perhaps because we were tourists, they charged us €78 for two large pizzas. We tried to pay when we ordered but couldn't; we were shocked by the total when we picked up. Think carefully before ordering.

We really enjoyed the pizza, and it's also a cozy place. A tad pricey compared to other similar places in Rome, but very good.
