14/09/2025: An incredible experience, truly a voracious pizza, but be careful not to overdo it. For example, a kilo and a half of pizza for two people is a lot.
If the staff's car doesn't start, be kind and help. The flavor and dough are full, flavorful, and never tire. The marinara is amazing.

01/03/2026: Passing through Civitavecchia, I looked for a trattoria-style restaurant, and here I am:
A truly comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food (the porcini mushroom fettuccine was excellent).
Really fair prices.
We'll definitely be back!
02/02/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday. I must say I found it to be a family-friendly place. The owners were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is freshly prepared, so it takes a little longer, but the wait is worth it. I had a wonderful gluten-free pasta dish with crab, as was the trio of appetizers, all washed down with an excellent white wine. I highly recommend it.

10/03/2026: We always have a great time here, the staff are very friendly and the place is nice and comfortable for even a long stay.
12/11/2025: What a pleasant surprise... Really good food and service at a roadside stop! I had a Nutella croissant, fresh squeezed orange juice, and an espresso. I wish we had such great options like this in the US. I also love how you don't even have to exit the highway to access these stops.

16/03/2026: Historic restaurant, we've been going there for over 40 years now, first with my parents, now with my family, and it's always a pleasure, a TRUE family-run restaurant.
07/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. My only complaint is the mushroom sauce on the tagliatelle; I would have added parsley for flavoring. I recommend the vegetable side dish and the artichoke.
The appetizers are delicious, and the almond biscuits are superb—a must-try.
Parking is in front of the restaurant.

They always have new flavors, in addition to the timeless classics, and they're all delicious. 😍 The size is also a strong point: a proper ice cream! It's satisfying when you eat it! (Not those tiny scoops that make you crave even more like so many others.) And then... You absolutely have to try the yogurt too!! Delicious, words don't do it justice, try it and believe it. 🥹 Finally, the quality/price ratio is also excellent. I highly recommend it, and I repeat, it's my favorite. 👏🏻👏🏻

At Taberna, you eat and drink like in few other places (and I'm not just talking about Civitavecchia), so go and try it!
(Please refrain from people who go out once every two years and cheapskates who ignore the ingredients.)

16/12/2025: We went to this restaurant with friends from a social group for an evening meal, after agreeing to an aperitif. What can I say? All the dishes they served, both hot (excellent mixed fried dishes with battered vegetables, supplì, etc.) and cold dishes, and finally an excellent amatriciana, all washed down with excellent wine and liqueurs. The price was fair, and the hospitality was very welcoming.

10/02/2026: I'm giving it 4 stars because several dishes were paid for... something you don't find in many restaurants... you already pay for drinks and desserts... Anyway, it was a great experience. Tablets for ordering tables inside and outside... good food, free parking in the area and they accept credit cards...
