21/03/2026: A good, reasonably priced, and delicious food. Especially the ravioli filled with porchetta di Ariccia, which weren't at all salty.
The porchetta and cured meats were good. The arrosticini were a bit less so.
23/01/2026: A charming little restaurant in Ariccia, with excellent service and a welcoming, family atmosphere. Deliciousness, quality, and quantity are the hallmarks of their dishes, along with super-fair prices. A guarantee!

22/02/2026: I chose Fraschetta two days ago after reading the reviews. Reservations were required for Sundays. I tried it today, and I have to say it was the right choice. Small but well-kept, with a homey atmosphere and very polite staff. The dishes are well-prepared and plentiful, and the prices are fair. I almost forgot the clean and tidy cold cuts and cheese counter, and of course the porchetta is the star. I tried it and I'll definitely be back.

02/01/2026: A restaurant with a true Roman fraschetta atmosphere. However, behind the excellent service and smiling waiters, we found a carbonara with touches of perhaps raw bacon and an egg "a frittata." The appetizers were nothing special. The uniquely shaped biscuits were charming.
30/12/2025: We were on the veranda, and I felt a bit chilly, despite the gas stove near the table. The seating (wooden benches) was a bit uncomfortable. The place is very rustic, a typical Roman osteria. We had the porchetta sandwich, which was excellent, as were the gnocchi with both ragù and truffle and sausage. I tried the mutton arrosticini, which were very good, as was the berry crumble.
If you like the typical atmosphere of the Castelli Romani restaurants and the simplicity, this is a great place.

01/11/2025: I never thought the food would be so good at a sports center! We went mainly for the wood-fired pizzas (a rare find!) and, I must say, they were delicious!! I also had the pasta, which was equally good! The bruschetta with porcini mushrooms was divine!!! They also do meat and sandwiches, and the look is very inviting! It's always very busy (we've been back). The pizza prices are a little higher than usual, but the quality makes up for it, big time!!! One piece of advice: the desserts could be improved, not much choice and very simple. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. The staff is friendly and helpful! See you next time!!! 😜

01/05/2026: Hello, May 1st at Casina delle Rose. The owners are extraordinary and very kind, and the food is excellent as always. This time, the same cannot be said for the rest. The first courses arrived around 2:20 PM, and the menu, the entire thing, was very limited and spread out over two and a half hours. It was practically a children's menu. The service was even worse. Two waiters were very uncoordinated and not up to the task. One in particular was quite nervous, probably due to the heat and the rush, and at one point was arrogant and rude, even using inappropriate words towards a customer who, very intelligently, stopped the discussion and avoided ruining the day.
11/04/2026: Excellent lunch. The pappardelle with wild boar sauce and the cockerel, the menu's standouts, were delicious. Ivan was very kind and attentive. The price was reasonable for the location and the quality of the food, yet fair. We'll definitely be back.

13/06/2025: Consigliatoci da amici romani, abbiamo deciso di prenotare su stasera un tavolo per una cena con bambini. Ambiente informale, ma personale molto gentile e alla mano.
Proposte di menù interessanti. Antipasti davvero ottimi e primi da leccarsi i baffi... o fare la scarpetta col pane, come ha fatto mio figlio! 😅
Prezzi onestissimi.
Se fate un salto ad Ariccia, fermatevi qui, non ve ne pentirete!

18/02/2026: A group of five stopped for lunch while visiting Ariccia. I must say, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were greeted just like at a classic Roman osteria, with their warmth and helpfulness. The lunch was truly excellent, the portions generous, and the bill more than fair. I highly recommend a stop at "Dar Compare."

26/09/2025: Nice restaurant. The appetizers and main courses weren't particularly generous for the €35 price tag.
20/09/2025: We had dinner this evening and I was very disappointed with both the food and the service.
The carbonara balls were fried in burnt oil and tasted like grease and cooked egg.
Many items were missing from the menu, and the staff was impatient.
We ordered the involtini, but they tasted like American/fast food fare, completely out of place for a Roman osteria. The most absurd thing is that when I asked for parmesan, I was told they didn't have it and that I would have to use pecorino (it seems absurd not to have parmesan in a Roman restaurant).
The prices were quite high for the location and the food.
Highly not recommended; it advertises a lot, but it's the worst osteria in Ariccia.

07/04/2026: Excellent quality but expensive as a fraschetta, we spent 31 euros each for the appetizer and first course, if we had taken the second course, dessert, coffee and bitter, it would have shot up to 60 euros per person

18/03/2026: Two-week business trip: a fantastic experience! Spacious and clean rooms, a welcoming atmosphere with an open grill in the center of the room. Fantastic staff, always friendly and helpful. Excellent meat (although I couldn't fully enjoy it because I was on a diet 😥). I'll be back soon! Highly recommended 🔥

Excellent quality food, traditional dishes, and truly sublime grilled meats.
A very family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend it.
