03/09/2025: I don't know what to say. A beautiful day at the spa, but to continue relaxing, we decided not to leave given the restaurant's excellent reviews. The bread in the basket was obviously old. Amatriciana, or pasta with sauce containing soft, not at all crispy pork cheek, and no pecorino cheese, or if it was present, it was imperceptible. Tagliolini with asparagus, pork cheek, and tomatoes was a bland pasta dish, with ingredients that didn't quite mesh together. To finish off beautifully, the beef tagliata, €28, or six strips of meat, floating in a pungent red sauce, surrounded by six white beans and bland potatoes. An excellent dinner if we had opted for a cafeteria, but not for a four-star hotel, and not at that price. We ate purely out of hunger, not pleasure. However, as I told the waiter, the Fiuggi water was really good.

29/12/2025: The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the dish of the day, which was delicious polenta topped with a sauce accompanied by pork ribs and sausage, which was truly excellent. The supplì are homemade and worth trying. The tiramisu is also excellent. I highly recommend this place.

30/12/2025: We came from Rome to visit Fiuggi and decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. We chose it because it offers gluten-free options, such as bread and pasta. Everything was truly delicious. We will definitely be back. Special thanks to Giuliana, who was very kind and helpful.

The restaurant is located in the city center, just a few meters away from a beautiful, historically rich and tastefully decorated space. Excellent food and highly recommended, a wine cellar with excellent labels, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.

17/09/2025: Sausages were overcooked, dry, steaks acceptable, but cooked fairly roughly. The requested medium-rare steak arrived practically blue (cold inside) and almost burned on the outside. Service was fairly courteous, the Cessna wine acceptable. Acceptable. Overall costs, in my opinion, were disproportionate. The steak was cheap, but two fried meatballs were also dry. It was 10 euros, rather than a large cheese platter with sweet provolone, a very good aged pecorino, and a young pecorino from the supermarket. It cost another 10 euros, also because the order was for a small, dry sausage with a small piece of cheese. The sausage was actually there and paid for separately. The cheese platter would have been returned, but it was my fault. I had too high expectations...

11/01/2026: We were there on Friday 9 January 2026, welcoming service, seafood salad not fresh, we took the strozzapreti with mixed fish, the first mussel I ate had a sewer taste, a shame because the rest was good, I don't understand how you can ruin a dish with mussels which is a low-priced product

06/01/2026: We went to Coccole di Grano for lunch on January 5th, as a couple. Despite our delay due to rain and traffic, we were greeted with great kindness and helpfulness. We ate two appetizers, two first courses, a second course, and two side dishes, and yes...we were a bit guided by our eyes and our initial hunger...which is why we ordered a little more than expected. The stuffed artichokes as an appetizer were truly delicious, flavorful, and well-prepared. As a vegetarian, I greatly appreciated the attentiveness of the lady who, with great kindness, had the lard removed from my cacio e pepe: a simple gesture that truly makes a difference and demonstrates care for the customer. The cacio e pepe was delicate and plentiful, truly excellent! For our second course, my companion chose the lamb, which he found very good. The sautéed porcini mushrooms and sautéed chicory as side dishes were also excellent. When the focaccia arrived, we were already too full... as I said, we ordered a little more than we should have, but we took it away and enjoyed it later: we can confirm that it was truly excellent. The small bottle of wine was also delicious. The quality-price ratio was quite reasonable: it's true that having ordered a little too much, we spent a little more than expected, but the quality of the products, the cuisine, and the friendly welcome more than made up for it. A place we'll happily return to.

30/12/2025: First time at this restaurant, I must say it's been a while since I've had an experience like this. The set menu meal for Christmas Day is AMAZING, that's the most appropriate adjective. The food is carefully crafted, balanced, and flavorful, and there's no shortage of it. The kindness and courtesy of the owner, Stefano, complete the picture of this place. WELL DONE, keep it up!

09/12/2025: Good food, friendly staff, clean and quaint atmosphere. I had lunch at the Locanda on Saturday, December 6th, and was pleased with the value for money. The pasta was well cooked al dente, the rabbit was exceptional, and the wine was good.

Impeccable service, genuine smiles, and customer care that is increasingly rare these days, especially Luca. A perfect place for a relaxing, romantic evening, or simply to indulge in something well-made. Highly recommended: Al Calice Doc is a must-see in Fiuggi.
