21/03/2024: Kind and professional. Generous portions. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety

02/10/2023: I loved view . Service ok, one head waiter not very nice at first but became nicer as the week went on. Food good.

15/10/2023: We had booked a table for 20 and there were guests at all the tables. We got Paella, it was a bit dry, but tasted ok. What was boring was that at 21 they already started clearing the tables when the guests left. Flowers and lamps were removed and preparations were made to close, although they are open until 10.30 p.m There was another couple who therefore opted out of dessert. Boring as it otherwise seems like a nice place.

15/10/2023: I was there several times. Family business, everyone pitches in. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Food outstanding in all courses. Fish dishes outstanding (we know what we're talking about😉🐟). We will be back….

01/04/2024: The service was great until the waiter changed. When the new waitress came, it was over. We wanted dessert, but after waiting 30 minutes, we decided to eat dessert somewhere else. It's a shame because everything had been fine up to that point.

25/03/2024: Nice place, but max. for a drink. You can dock by boat. Nice service. Food is expensive and quite bland. Caprese with disposable wooden cutlery. There is no EU oil, wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar. Poadine dry. Aperol in a Caipi glass. Franciacorta is on the map but it doesn't exist. A bit wanted and not able. The prices are not justified. A pity.

18/09/2023: Great hotel We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay Great breakfast at the front watching people start their day. Excellent location with the ferry drop off so near which encouraged us to make good use of the easy trips to Bardolino & Sirmione Lovely afternoon drinks after a busy day visiting, off the ferry & cool drink.

29/08/2023: Great food and wonderful service at the lakeside, very friendly staff. Later went into the hotel for coffee to avoid a thunderstorm. Again lovely friendly welcome. While we were there a family were standing across the road in the rain under a tree, not looking for proper shelter. Eventually they came over to the hotel very wet and were welcomed in and immediately given towels to dry themselves as best they could. They left after a little while without even buying a cup of tea. The staff just smiled and we could see that they didn't make any comments to one another about it. This was a very kind act and much more than they would have been expected to do. Well done. 10 stars

03/04/2024: One of the places I remember very fondly. Laid back, family friendly and great for large groups. Really hope it opens back up as a restaurant. Look out for fireflies on the way up. Any news you can share on when you are re-opening the main restaurant?

26/03/2024: Al Pescatore is not recommended. The mussels smelled like old socks, the octopus salad smelled like wet dog. None of it tasted good. The seafood pasta is average at best in terms of taste. Of course the prices are high, it is Garda after all, but they are not appropriate for the poor quality and taste. Better go eat somewhere else. We'll definitely never come here again.

18/10/2023: Ein schöner Platz direkt am Gardasee, der bei schönem Wetter zum Essen unter Sonnenschirmen einläd. Gute italienische Küche, die so bemessen ist, dass sowohl Vorspeise (geteilt) und Hauptgericht als auch Nachtisch (geteilt) zu schaffen sind. Der Rotwein (Bio und aus der Region) war mit 23 Euro gut und paßte zum Essen.

22/10/2023: Für einen Zwischenstopp bestens geeignet. Schnell feindlich und sehr höflich. Wir haben den besten Campari Sprizz hier getrunken. Für mich persönlich empfehlenswert.

07/10/2023: Waiter not helpful It is the worst restaurant in Garda I thought the tiramisu contained alcohol, but the owner confirmed that there was no alcohol. Thanks

30/09/2023: Braceria chiusa ma ristorante Aperto Pizza gourmet molto buona, ma cotta al forno davvero buonissima. Ogni mese creano una pizza particolare. Personale gentile, e costo giusto.

06/03/2024: Very nice hotel, we were there with our friends 2 years ago (the night for a double room approx. 100€) after which it was rebuilt, unfortunately the cost of the rooms for us has now increased enormously ☺️great right on the promenade, everything is fine Walking distance

28/02/2024: My boyfriend and I are spending a wonderful vacation in this hotel. A vacation I will never forget. Thank you very much for that 🙏. The room was clean, very nice and cozy with a small balcony facing the lake. We had our own bathroom. Breakfast and food was excellent. Boss and employees always friendly. We were even allowed to park our motorcycle on the promenade in front of the hotel. I can only highly recommend the hotel and would be happy to come back at any time. We then visited Venice and spontaneously decided to go back to Garda for a few days. Even that wasn't a problem. We even got our old room back. Many thanks to the entire team at Albergo Giadinetto. Grazie mille 🙏
