In the heart of the historic center of Portogruaro, on the banks of the Lemene river, it has outdoor tables and about forty seats inside. Selected raw materials, expert preparation of dishes and unique flavors. Fish and meat dishes. A very respectable wine list and a significant number of wines by the glass (far-sighted choice!) even for a business lunch like today I truly felt pampered! Great example of a Venetian osteria of substance! Highly recommended! Prices in line with the great quality! A point of reference when I pass through these wonderful areas!

Bigoli with top quality mallard, excellent CBT cheeks, top-quality Tocai Friulano (we are near Friuli, and the house wine is real wine!). We close with a dove in the form of an original and good focaccia, in a quiet, unpretentious, welcoming environment.

06/05/2025: We celebrated our little girl's baptism here. Alberto the owner together with all the staff is super kind, helpful and welcoming. The cuisine is nothing short of exceptional! We also had the pleasure of trying takeaway food and I have to say.....magnificent! Congratulations to all of you!

26/05/2025: I was looking forward to trying this restaurant, but ended up quite disappointed. The pasta I ordered was noticeably undercooked — the center was still powdery and tasted raw. When we mentioned it to the staff, they told us, “It’s because Italians like it al dente.” I understand what al dente means — pasta that is firm to the bite, not uncooked in the center. This wasn’t al dente; it simply wasn’t cooked enough. At first, the staff didn’t seem willing to adjust the dish, but eventually they did send it back to the kitchen to be cooked a bit more. While I appreciate that, the initial response felt dismissive and gave me the impression that my feedback wasn’t being taken seriously. I hope the restaurant can improve both the cooking and how they handle customer concerns.

26/12/2024: Historic place in Portogruaro. Coming here is like coming home.. Cozy, warm and characteristic... wide choice of wines and drinks Top welcome, superlative croutons and meatballs. Highly recommended

26/12/2024: Aperitif in a little corner of old Portogruaro... We passed by chance in this little place in a very romantic driveway. Wide choice of wines and top crostini... the cool thing is the meatballs made by the strange guy who runs the place. Not recommended, highly recommended.

10/05/2025: Menu of the day between 11 and 14 euros complete with coffee and wine or soft drink, good spaghetti with seafood, delicious culatello with burrata. Truck parking in the industrial area next door. Also open on Saturdays with a working menu. Spotless restrooms. Friendly staff.
