Osteria al BUC In Portogruaro

Great atmosphere of a local pub, where I think mainly locals go. The food is delicious. It is better to come with a reservation, but even without it, after a while they seated us inside in an air-conditioned room. A very skilled waitress was there for all the guests alone, so it took 45 minutes from arrival to the first meal and we had to remind ourselves. But she spoke English and German well. But since it was hot outside and everything was closed until 4 anyway, the wait was not a problem... We were surprised that they didn't have a menu, the waitress just read the menu from a handwritten piece of paper. We agreed on what wasn't there and it was really tasty. A few stars down really only because we asked for ketchup twice and we still waited about 20 minutes for it. Otherwise, thank you very much.

We had lunch on a Wednesday. Maybe they're not used to so many people, since we waited at least 30 minutes without drinks... Service wasn't exactly fast, but always smiling and friendly! Good, almost excellent food. Typical Venetian cuisine. There's no menu, which is announced verbally WITHOUT prices. Price: €73.90 for four people, including two first courses, two second courses, two 0.75-liter bottles of water, a Coke, and three coffees. Men's and women's restrooms.

We had such an incredible dinner. The waitress was super kind and the food was amazing too. Very authentic and truly is a hidden gem in Portogruaro. 100% recommend.

I enjoyed every dish we ordered. The shrimp pasta with zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and pesto was fabulous. My partner ordered the mixed fish, which was also very good. Highly recommended. The price is very fair, and the portions are generous. Plus, they're pet-friendly.

We had a very good meal at this Ostetia; simple but high-quality dishes! The lady at the restaurant was very friendly. I recommend it!
