12/08/2026: We were there with a large group of 17 people. When we took our order, they sensibly divided us into groups based on family size, which worked well – especially since one waitress spoke some German and helped us with our order. Unfortunately, the service deteriorated from that point on. The remaining waitresses spoke only Italian, not even English – which I found quite surprising in the restaurant industry. Although we were charged a cover charge, there were no glasses, vinegar/oil, salt, or bread on our table. In addition, several dishes were simply forgotten, leaving some of our group sitting hungry and increasingly frustrated while others were already eating. It's a shame, because the food itself was really very good. Locals probably have an easier time here, but as a tourist, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant due to the poor service – there are other options on the island where you feel much more welcome. We won't be returning.

04/08/2026: A very charming restaurant overlooking the little square. The food is very good, both in terms of quantity and quality of the ingredients. Reservations are recommended as it's often crowded. The owner is very kind and attentive, and the service is prompt and fast. This restaurant is a true reference point for anyone visiting Albarella, highly recommended.

01/11/2025: Small ice cream and nothing special for the price paid. I find it excessive to charge 1.20 for the addition of cream, but above all I find it unfair to charge 1.20 for the addition of a taste of cream for a child's cup, especially if you pay in cash without a receipt.

05/10/2025: The hot chocolate was really thick and good, the crepes were also delicious, highly recommended.

25/06/2026: The food was good, the service excellent, and the product quality was good. The price was fair for what you get.

30/05/2026: We had dinner yesterday with a group of friends. We tried the pizzas, which were excellent, followed by a round of impeccable radicchio and gorgonzola risotto, followed by a superb round of penne all'arrabbiata, and, to finish, a delicious homemade white chocolate dessert. All this accompanied by excellent wine and beer. Overall, thanks also to the outdoor table and the pleasant atmosphere, we had a wonderful evening where we truly enjoyed ourselves. Maurizio was excellent, as was his staff, always attentive and courteous. Highly recommended, and the bill wasn't too shabby either.

10/05/2026: After a long time, we returned yesterday evening, May 9th. We had given up because we weren't happy with the first management change. We tried again, and finally, they're back to how they were in the old days. Good, high-quality food, friendly service, and a fair price. We'll be back and recommend it.

08/08/2026: It was a restaurant we went to as part of a package tour, and Lasagna with ragu sauce was served. Vegetables, wedge potatoes, and watermelon were set out first. It was tasty, but a little salty for the Korean palate~ Still, I enjoyed the meal.

28/07/2026: We had 2 fixed price lunches, everything was very good, including the grilled vegetable buffet, generous portions, price €15 per person, coffee included.

30/04/2026: 12 euros per person. First course, main course, side dish, water, coffee. Traditional regional cuisine, large portions. Everything spotlessly clean!

22/07/2026: Antico Caffè Franchin is located in the historic center of Rovigo at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, 22. It enjoys a well-equipped and airy portico. Inside, the atmosphere is spacious and comfortable, tastefully furnished. The staff is friendly and professional, and always smiling during conversation. We stopped for a quick business lunch and the staff surprised us with culinary offerings that were definitely appropriate for the season and of excellent quality. We spent two peaceful hours savoring excellent dishes and good wine. Definitely worth a stop...

20/07/2026: We called to reserve a table for the World Cup final and were told our view would be obstructed by a pole. So far, so good. We arrived and found ourselves at a table with both the pole and the wall in front of us, and behind a high table with stools. Needless to say, we didn't get the chance to see the game as we'd hoped. Furthermore, the waiters were very confused and couldn't do basic math to allocate change. Finally, I ordered an alcoholic drink and was served a non-alcoholic one.

04/05/2026: When I'm on the island I can't help but go to the rustico, the first courses are excellent, the second courses are excellent.... excellent location, a must-try for those who haven't been there.

06/08/2026: We had dinner and stayed overnight. An excellent mixed grill with a good house wine. The room was simple but clean and spacious, with everything you need. Total silence, I slept soundly.

13/05/2026: A very quaint place right in the center of Adria, with a charming covered outdoor area. They offer first courses, piadinas, sandwiches, and tramezzini, all at reasonable prices.

04/05/2026: Review of the restaurant only. Simple dishes presented and priced as if they were gourmet. In my opinion, they're way overpriced. Good location and friendly staff, but if it weren't for the location, it would struggle to find a place to stay.
