31/07/2025: Beware this place, it’s total tourist trap! Overpriced, awful service. Chef should be sent to jail for putting Heinz mustard on beef carpaccio. We asked for medium-done beef fillet steak, but it was almost raw. We had to pour wine from bottle by ourselves (which is fine in taverna, but not in high-end restaurant). At the end - they tried to charge us for more expensive wine than we had. Overall - the worst dinner experience in Cortina.

24/08/2025: A field with a designated spot, although we had no reservation, we could choose 1 of 2 available, very polite service in English, payment at the end of the stay, no additional/hidden costs, about 20 minutes walk from the center of Cortina.

23/08/2025: Quiet campsite in a beautiful setting. The toilet blocks are in satisfactory condition. Friendly staff. The electricity is only 600 watts, our kettle stopped working with it, you have to pay attention to this. There is a laundry room, a grill, a small rain shelter where you can eat, sit, etc. even when it rains. There is a small shop at the reception in the morning.

20/05/2025: While strolling near the basilica, we were attracted to this small and stylish cafe by the street scene appeal and fun music. We only had drinks, but it was enough to thoroughly enjoy the cozy ambiance. Staff was very cheerful and attentive.

18/07/2025: Lovely place! A bit deserted in the summer, but the place still has a very Italian feel. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated.

21/08/2025: We had lunch at the bar because dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant. Everything was great. Excellent quality and good service.

18/08/2025: Located on the road just before the center of Cortina. We stopped on our motorcycle for a quick snack. We ordered a stuffed focaccia and a frozen puzzetta. The wait was very long, even though the place was empty. Not suitable for bikers looking for a quick stop. The bathroom had no toilet paper or hand towels. It's right on the road, so it's very noisy.

16/08/2025: ATTENTION Coffee ☕️ at the counter at 2 Euros 💶 and also burnt of very poor quality for the excessive price not even in a refuge over 2000 meters you will find it at that price.... we are on the roadside... Never AGAIN...

23/08/2025: The food is good. Especially the wood-fired pizza. But also the meat. The staff does wonders to manage all the tables. The outdoor seating is nice when the temperatures allow it.

23/08/2025: Had lunch at this pizzeria/restaurant. Very friendly staff and fast service. The Canaderli trio was delicious, as were the pork ribs with polenta. Reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.

03/05/2025: Chiamo alle 9 per prenotare ma non risponde nessuno, ovviamente era troppo presto, verso le 10:30 mi richiamano dal ristorante: servizio eccezionale che già merita la visita. Alle 12 ci accomodiamo al meraviglioso tavolo sul laghetto, prima cosa portano l’acqua alla nostra cagnolina ( top!) il menu e’ molto accattivante, opto per il carciofo e le fantastiche patatine fritte con la buccia; ci portano un amuse bouche eccezionale che già di per se vale l’intero pranzo per non parlare della bontà del carciofo e delle patatine, concludiamo con un bombardino con mele alla grappa delizioso. Il tutto accompagnato dalla gentilezza, simpatia e professionalità della titolare. Tutto perfetto anzi di più

10/03/2025: Il migliore ma il personale è maleducato. Premetto che ogni anno a marzo, nel corso della settimana bianca, andiamo una sera a cena. Sono ormai diversi anni. Qualità eccezionale, ricercatezze e rivisitazione di piatti tradizionali. Prenoto in genere 15 giorni prima di andare i ristoranti per tutta la settimana. Ho chiamato e prenotato per questa sera. Devo evidentemente avere fatto confusione perché ricevo alle 20:30 una telefonata piuttosto sgarbata della signora che esclama: è lei la signora laura? Sa che avrebbe dovuto essere qui da una mezz’ora almeno? Mortificata rispondo che ero certa di avere ricevuto una telefonata di disdetta. Ero infatti a cena in altro ristorante. Insisto, in totale buonafede, e la signora esclama: la smetta di mettere delle scuse! Nelle mie prenotazioni avevo ricevuto due disdette ed ero certa che una fosse di questo ristorante. Mi scuso ancora, ma avrei voluto mandarla a quel paese. Ma che modi? Ma che gente? Ma quanta prosopopea e maleducazione! A cortina di ristoranti eccellenti ce ne sono e, davvero, sono anni che ceniamo al Pianozes. Da oggi, non più.

10/07/2025: A wine bar run by a conscientious owner. The wine list is excellent. If you feel hesitant to order a whole bottle, I recommend trying a glass. Trust the owner's taste.

06/07/2025: I just opened a business next to this Enoteca which is located in Corso Italia 137 just down a few steps next to the municipal fountain. I met the owner and I went to lunch to eat an excellent tartare, delicate with a right balance of the condiments that composed it. The menu also offered cutting boards of researched cured meats with particular seasonings to make them sophisticated, I would have tried them all, but I will save them for the next time. The proposals differ from the commercial ones found in traditional bars where you don't even know where the cured meats come from and often you know to have more margins you don't offer quality. Of course you have to know about it to taste the products offered and not all palates can interpret their refinement well. The environment is absolutely relaxing and offers tables in the shade of a beautiful tree. The price is in line with the quality offered.

22/03/2025: Ho tanti bei ricordi legati al Rifugio Scoiattoli, dove vado abitualmente fin da quando ero piccola con i miei genitori, ma il trattamento di sabato 15 marzo è stato molto deludente. La direttrice di sala e una delle cameriere ci hanno trattato con scortesia e prepotenza, evidentemente con l'obiettivo di far mangiare il maggior numero di persone nel minor tempo possibile e liberare i tavoli velocemente. Nonostante fosse in corso una nevicata e stessimo aspettando un’amica in arrivo, una delle cameriere ci ha intimato di mangiare in mezz’ora, una richiesta che non è stata fatta agli altri tavoli arrivati dopo di noi. La situazione è degenerata con un'aggressione verbale della direttrice di sala, solo perché cercavamo di fare partire l’ordine della nostra amica un po' dopo il nostro, per far sì che potesse mangiare al suo arrivo. Nonostante avessimo ordinato vari piatti e dolci, ci continuavano a mettere sotto pressione per liberare il tavolo, anche se ci stavamo mettendo lo stesso tempo degli altri tavoli (in tutto un'ora e 10 minuti, incluso il pagamento del conto). A un certo punto, la direttrice ci ha detto, in malo modo e con toni alti, che forse avremmo dovuto andare a mangiare in un ristorante stellato. Questo trattamento ha rovinato la percezione di un posto a cui eravamo affezionate e non è certo il trattamento accogliente che ci si aspetta nelle Dolomiti. Non è ammissibile trattare male i clienti e mettere questo tipo di pressione per accomodare più persone possibili. La reputazione che il rifugio si era costruita era basata sulla qualità del cibo e l’accoglienza. Si invita la direzione a una seria riflessione su che tipi di trattamenti e messaggi vogliono mandare ai clienti.

16/03/2025: Estábamos de excursión en la zona de montaña Cinque Torri y paramos para almorzar aquí como nos recomendó nuestra recepcionista del hotel. Era un día soleado glorioso, así que estaban muy ocupados. Por suerte consiguieron encontrarnos una mesa fuera de la cual era perfecto. ¡Tenía los mejores raviolis caseros de remolacha! De hecho, todos los platos que se estaban sacando se ven fantásticos. El pan era excelente también - siempre el signo de un buen restaurante. Recomendaría encarecidamente este rifugio para el almuerzo en las montañas!

04/09/2025: The worst restaurant we've been to in Cortina. Especially in a renowned tourist destination like Cortina. And in Italy, a country where you're supposed to eat well everywhere. I rarely give a rating of 1, but when it comes to what we experienced at lunch, it's a complete disappointment. Don't leave your money in a place like this. Let's start with the terrace. The boss arrives with a waiter and spreads a tablecloth over a wobbly table. They didn't do anything better than put a piece of cork from a wine bottle, but the table kept moving, almost spilling the drinks. And then the thought of a waiter who mistook us for his friends and told us we could put 500 euro bills on the table to stabilize it??? This is already disrespectful to the customer and unprofessional. Because where I come from, we have 1000 CHF bills to put on the table just in case! I could already see that the service would be deplorable. We ordered an aperitif with a Spritz and a Hugo. We hadn't even had the aperitif when they asked us to order. For the second time, service was "zero" in less than 10 minutes. After finishing the aperitif, we ordered a raw red shrimp appetizer (35 euros) and a goose pâté (25 euros). I also ordered a bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blanc (190 euros). They brought me a Ruinart Brut, and when the waiter opened it in 10 seconds without letting me see the bottle, there was no gas, the cork was dry, and the tip was moldy. I smelled the cork and immediately told him that the champagne tasted like cork. It tasted acidic, sour, and bitter. I sent the bottle back, saying it needed to be exchanged and that they would bring me a Blanc de Blanc, not a Brut. But now comes the most scandalous part. The waiter returned 5 minutes later with the same open bottle, telling me that the boss had said the champagne didn't taste corked!!! So either you think people are stupid, ignorant, and uneducated, or you're a terrible professional and don't know how to do your job. I already have the answer to this question = both. Let's keep laughing a little. I said I didn't want that bottle anymore and that I would order a simple Prosecco for 50 euros. For the main course, we chose a Trounedos Rossini (38 euros/person), ordered rare. It arrived on a cold plate, like the shrimp. And it wasn't cooked rare, but rather well done. But let's keep laughing because about 20 minutes after our complaint about the bottle of Ruinart champagne, that same bottle was served by the glass to two customers (apparently acquaintances of the boss, given his complicity with them). As a result, one of them drank the whole glass and didn't realize the champagne was bad (which goes to show you can give anything to people who don't know anything, but as soon as it becomes a brand, "it's good." The other didn't take more than a sip and grimaced. Lunch price: €211. It would have been better to go to a bar for a sandwich. So for now, this will remain the worst restaurant we've tried in Cortina. The quality/price ratio and service were beyond disappointing. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

10/08/2025: Located in the center, this restaurant is located inside the renowned Hotel De La Poste and presents itself with a very luxurious location (although a little outdated). The terrace where you dine is beautiful with an excellent view of the mountains. The classic fish and meat menu (some vintage dishes are reminiscent of the 90s). I found all the courses exceptional, not to mention their Sacher torte. The wines are also excellent. The service is simple but at the same time very attentive and professional.

18/07/2025: sono andato in questa pizzeria e ristorante con due ospiti americani che mi avevano chiesto di provare una buona e vera pizza "Italian style" e non solo la pizza è stata un ottima conferma - pizza Napoli style - ma anche il resto del cibo ordinato è stato superlativo. Nota di merito per la Parmigiana di Melanzane che era da urlo. Altra nota di grandissimo merito per i miei parametri...velocissimi e onesti. Abbiamo mangiato in meno di un'ora ed era tutto ottimo a prezzi assolutamente normali

23/04/2025: Il rifugio gode del nome per via della storicità e della posizione; personale nel complesso cortese, location molto bella (scomodi i tavoli per via della struttura sottostante ingombrante), cibo non all’altezza del contesto (anche se non ho avuto modo di provare molti piatti).

24/07/2025: …wir waren Mitte Juni 2025 zum Abendessen im Dolom'eats all'Aquila in Cortina D'Ampezzo. Wir hatten Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte, alles ansprechend appetitlich angerichtet und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet – was das war, sieht man auf den Bildern. Auch das Ambiente ist klasse. Der Service war nicht schlecht, aber von der etwas zu lockeren Art her, nicht so ganz unser Fall. Alles in allem war unser Abendessen ausgezeichnet – nicht billig (hochwertig) und den Preis auf alle Fälle wert.

06/04/2025: Non lo consiglio, noi abbiamo preso delle tagliatelle con i funghi ma non avevano di niente, poi abbiamo preso anche una cotoletta di vitello con patatine e mi portano un pezzo di “carne” cotto nel olio che non so che carne era, il tagliere dei affettati era buono…..

20/03/2025: Este restaurante en Cortina es muy grande con muchas mesas, así que a pesar de no haber reservado pudimos cenar después de esperar un poco de cola. Tienen una gran variedad de pizzas, estaban muy ricas y también la panna cota.
