01/03/2026: They opened today after the winter break, and we went right away. As always, the food was excellent, the freshest fish, and the service was perfect. We've already booked for Easter. Whenever we come to Lake Garda, we can't miss lunch or dinner at this restaurant. Seeing is believing.

14/03/2026: I've been coming here for lunch for years. I've been to all the trattorias in Treviso, and I've always thought this was the absolute best for lunch. Today, I came here for dinner for the first time, and I've definitely changed my mind. It's not just the best for lunch, it's the best restaurant, period. Haha, you can be sure of it here. It's not just good, it's truly special.

08/03/2026: Highly recommended! They waited on us even though the kitchen was about to close. Everyone was kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

13/03/2026: Many years ago I used to eat there often. The prices were good, the service was good, the portions were generous, and the sauces were good and included in the price. Now they charge for everything, the portions are small, and the service is very formal. The only good thing is that there's no cover charge and the food is fresh. If it's not fresh, it's a shame because it used to be a good place to eat.

21/02/2026: Three friends and I had lunch here, hoping for a culinary experience to match. Unfortunately, the reheated, burnt potatoes that looked like they were made yesterday immediately disappointed us. The meat wasn't bad, but we expected more from a restaurant that prides itself on having a meat carrier. The price? A bit high for what we received. The service? Not bad, but not exceptional. The shot of rum and five pieces of dark chocolate as a digestif? A nice touch, but not enough to save the meal. We'll never go back.

09/02/2026: Honestly, I wouldn't go back. We chose to try this place for the good meat selection. Our expectations were quite high, given that the appetizers proved to be excellent (although I didn't appreciate the apple sauce that accompanied the tartare...in my opinion, it didn't go well at all). We ordered Selezione Retró, a rib-eye steak weighing over 1kg, but unfortunately it was completely burned. Typical American-style cooking...too bad it's carcinogenic and doesn't enhance the flavor of the meat! My husband cut off the entire top while I forced myself to eat it; the inside was still cold. We mentioned this to the lady serving the tables, who apologized, claiming it was the chef's mistake. It's just a shame that, looking at the photos, I saw several burned pieces of meat! If I had noticed earlier, I wouldn't have given away €149.50 for: 2 covers; 1 tartare sample; 1 carpaccio sample; 1.3 kg of rib-eye steak; 1 baked potato; 1 baked radicchio; 1 tiramisu, 1 water, and 2 glasses of Barbaresco at €7 each (very poor). The guy at the cashier, or owner (I don't know), then pretended absolutely nothing had happened, even though he'd been informed... terrible attitude. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED for those who know how to eat well.

26/12/2025: I'd heard so many good things about this restaurant, but... I had to change my mind. I was invited to a friend's Christmas lunch. Pumpkin and porcini risotto: The rice was overcooked, and there wasn't even a single porcini mushroom on my plate (the amount was comparable to a spoonful). The pheasant was embarrassing: a tiny, half-burnt piece, overcooked and very dry, with no sauce whatsoever (inedible). The boiled meat was very sad, made up of tiny portions accompanied by a spoonful of mashed potatoes. The slice of panettone: in reality, they brought me half a skimpy slice with some cream on a separate plate. The whole thing was served without any cutlery. The diners' embarrassment was very evident. I asked a waiter if I could have the other half of the panettone slice, but he told me it was sold out. (It's a shame that at the end of lunch, coming out of the restroom, I spotted trays full of dozens of panettone slices in the kitchen!!) After a very long wait, the coffee arrives. I asked if I could have some milk on the side to dilute it, but it arrived a quarter of an hour later, and I had to drink the coffee straight, otherwise it would have gone cold. Another sore point were the side dishes. There were about fifteen of us, and we were only served two small plates of cooked vegetables and two small plates of baked chips. In my house, that amount was only suitable for a couple of people. I understand that the bowl was full, and that it was Christmas, but paying 70 euros for that amount was a rip-off! I don't think it's fair to take advantage of the holidays to raise money! I was planning on celebrating birthdays in 2026 at this establishment... but I won't. I don't want to make a bad impression on my friends and acquaintances.

20/01/2026: An elite restaurant with refined cuisine for haute cuisine connoisseurs. The open kitchen is stunning. The atmosphere is modern, casual, and minimalist. Dishes are elegant and fantastic, featuring authentic local ingredients and balanced flavors. High-quality wines are also available by the glass. Friendly service with knowledgeable staff. A small parking lot is available in the back.

27/12/2025: We visited Mada Cafè yesterday for breakfast and had the best, most authentic meal of our trip. The authenticity of the meal wasn’t just because of how it was homemade, but also because of how genuinely we were received at the restaurant by the chef and owner, Marco. He made us feel at home, and served us our food, no frills or anything. He only speaks Italian, but that doesn’t stop the true warmth that oozes out of his restaurant and food. Thank you for a wonderful meal, Marco! We wish you a happy new year!
