03/07/2025: Negative experience – Beware of unjustified price increases Yesterday in the late afternoon I went to self-service refueling, inserting my debit card with the intention of filling up at the displayed price of €1.64/L. After selecting the pump, a petrol station attendant appeared and, without me having asked for any help, decided to intervene personally. He inserted the fuel nozzle into my car and pressed the truck symbol on the display. After blocking the nozzle, I let the refueling complete. Right away I noticed that the amount was going up well above what I usually spend for a full tank. The car wasn't even in reserve, yet the total was much higher than any other refueling done in the last 10 years with this car. I then moved to make room for the others in line and, having not asked for a receipt when paying with a debit card, I wrote down the data from the board to try to understand what had happened. In the end I calculated that I paid 58 euros for about 25 liters, that is, 2.32 €/L instead of 1.64 €/L as indicated. Even if a different price was foreseen for "assisted" refueling (which I had not requested anyway), such a difference is absolutely unjustifiable. Unfortunately, since I did not have a receipt, I was unable to ask the attendant directly for explanations. The only thing I can do is leave this review, hoping that it will be read by those who manage the station. I really hope that similar situations do not happen often to other customers. It is not so much for the 15 euros more, but for the feeling of having been cheated for no reason.

29/10/2025: I'm sorry, but after a few years of going there without any problems, I won't be returning to this place. I may have been wrong not to specify my intolerance, but if I ask for a pizza without mozzarella, you can't bring it with buffalo mozzarella, claiming it's not regular mozzarella, and most importantly rolling your eyes. I risk feeling really sick. No apology and no chance to remake the pizza, the waitress and pizza chef were visibly annoyed. I asked for at least the mozzarella to be removed... just a little, here and there, just to please me. I'm sorry, but that's not the way to behave. Allergies and intolerances are serious problems. I always try not to bother anyone, but you were very rude.

26/04/2025: non-existent cleanliness, dirty rooms, holes with spiders, radiators with mold and cobwebs, blocked shutters, used handkerchiefs in blankets and a pillow cover, beer cap under the wardrobes, small hole in a mattress, dirty mattress, hair in the pillow.

26/04/2025: Dirty rooms, Holes around the room and bathroom (complete with huge friendly black spiders coming out of them (I'm arachnophobic)), At first they gave me a room with a leak in the ceiling and it was raining on the floor, then they changed me (AT LEAST THAT). Non-existent roller shutter on the balcony door, beds that stand up miraculously. Bidet that you can't practically wash because it works like a toilet, Toilet with little water coming down when you flush. Dirty mattresses and drawn mattress covers. Showers without water, excrement in the toilet as soon as you enter the room. ALSO FOUND A DIRTY HANDKERCHIEF UNDER THE BLANKETS AND INSIDE A PILLOW. Hair on the pillows.

03/05/2025: Il ristorante presenta dei tipici piatti veneziani di buona qualità con quantità forse un po' modesta. Il prezzo è in linea con quelli di Venezia

26/04/2025: Ein sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant, bei dem es auf den ersten Blick auch nach leckerem Essen aussieht. Wir waren dann vom Essen sehr enttäuscht. Rundherum kann man deutlich bessere Qualität italienischen Essens geniessen. Service bestand aus eher wortkargen, eher mürrischen, älteren Herren. Die Pesto-Sauce an meinen Spaghetti war aus dem Fertig-Glas, wie ich es zu Hause in jedem Lebensmittelladen kaufen kann. Frittura Mista zu wenig frittiert und demnach die Calamari Fritti wie ein Kaugummi zum kauen. Einfach alles lieblos ausser die Tischchen direkt am Kanal. Schade, bessere Küche und das Lokal wäre eine Goldgrube, gut, das ist es wohl aus so, denn es liegt direkt an einer der vielen Hauptrouten für Touris.

17/10/2025: Unfortunately, the food here was a complete disaster, at least for most of our group. One pizza was completely burnt on the bottom, and after a long discussion, they "only" charged half the price. My pizza Capriciosa was drowning in oil, and you could "taste" the cheap ingredients. What a waste of money and time in an otherwise lovely place!

16/10/2025: What a shame, a complete rip-off. A boring salad for 18 euros, a bowl of fries for 8 euros. The 18-euro service charge (coperto) for three people is the icing on the cake. Never again, especially since there are nice trattorias and small bars off the piazza. It's geared toward tourists, so not recommended.

08/10/2025: Good selection of both sweet and savory products, clean place, and very kind and friendly staff. Recommended

03/10/2025: A café near Padua's central hospital. It has several tables inside and a nice counter with both sweet and savory options. They also have gluten-free muffins. The bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.

22/08/2025: A truly charming little cabin, nestled in the middle of nature, overlooking expanses of meadows. Friendly staff. I recommend the amaretti and ricotta cake...a delight.

05/08/2025: We stumbled upon Baita Pontara by chance during a hike, without a reservation and well past lunchtime. The hosts, Carlo and Patrizia, even though the kitchen was closed, prepared a delicious platter of locally sourced cured meats and cheeses for us. Surrounded by greenery, the kind and welcoming hosts immediately made us feel at home. We'll definitely be back to try their dishes!

29/10/2025: The atmosphere is beautiful, very nostalgic, typical of those hotels that only appear on TV shows these days. The staff is very kind and helpful. A well-deserved 5 stars.

14/10/2025: If I could give it a -10 it would make me happy. It is the worst hotel I have ever visited in my entire life. I am amazed that such a rotten place with scammers who take your money is still open. You would be better off sleeping in a flat than in this rubbish.

30/03/2025: I tried the arrosticini at an event in Frassenelle Park. The €8 vegetarian arrosticini are a steal. Four cubes of eggplant and peppers. The cheese platter was good.

27/07/2025: Das Restaurand ist sehr schön direkt am Wasser gelegen. Das Essen war ok, aber nichts besonderes. Bei der Abrechnung wurden wir jedoch eiskalt über den Tisch gezogen. Die Rechnungssumme wurde uns mündlich, aber sehr unverständlich genannt, wir haben mit Karte gezahlt und natürlich noch Trinkgeld in bar dazugegeben. Eine Rechnungsübersicht erhielten wir nicht. Bis wir feststellen, dass auf dem Zahlungsbeleg 60 € standen, wir jedoch deutlich unter 50 € als tatsächliche Rechnung gehabt hätten, war der junge Kellner schon wieder verschwunden. Also bitte Vorsicht bei der Abrechnung.

The food: A total disaster!!! - Portion very small - Non-existent service, self-service - The food tasted like NOTHING (no, unfortunately, that wasn't a matter of taste) - No sauce, just empty, dry ravioli The experience was very disappointing and rude, especially in Italy!! Save your money and go get a decent meal 10 minutes away!

29/04/2025: My wife and I stopped by this center and ordered two dishes from the famous pasta maker Giovanni Rana. Perhaps our expectations were a bit too high. The pasta Carbonara was average. I would have liked the bacon diced rather than sliced. The lasagna was solid. The price was reasonable.

20/09/2025: This afternoon I stopped by the bar for a couple of coffees ☕️☕️ I have to say, the guy at the cash register was really kind 😊, the tall, smiling girl was very courteous and helpful 🌸. I always love the atmosphere, with a beautiful view that makes even a simple break special 💖. Unfortunately, the only downside was a small, slightly plump barista with glasses 👓 who glared at us and then rudely served our coffees, shoving them in front of us 😔… I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but it would have been better not to take it out on the customers. I love the place and I've been there before with pleasure ✨ I would have given it 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, but it's a real shame about the service on that occasion.

10/06/2025: Too bad, because the place is very nice. The waiters' work to satisfy all the requests is commendable...but let's ask ourselves why there are so many requests....insufficient water as well as bread, wine and side dishes, some missing. Some with the coffee they also served the bitter, others not. The bill was the same for everyone but the last ones served did not eat as much as the first ones. Food quality...mediocre

21/04/2025: Easter lunch 2025, disappointing service, inexperienced waiters not attentive to customer needs, poor food arrived at the tables cold, you can't serve the overcooked risotto in the same dish as the lasagne, the second courses couldn't be eaten with hard meat, we're not there!!! we will definitely not return again!!!

26/08/2025: The menu said "pizzeria," but they haven't made pizza in years! Buffalo mozzarella appetizer, but only stracchino arrived! I asked for a glass of prosecco, and a still pinot arrived! How incredibly slow!

21/04/2025: Booked Easter Monday lunch. Fish starter: 1 large scallop (good), 2 small ones (without taste and/or flavor) plus a red prawn on a polenta base.... Paella: overly cooked rice (it looked like it was made the day before) covered with 5 scallops and 2 shellfish.... No type of fish in the rice.... Inedible! I would have left as soon as I tasted it... my wife wanted to "try" eating it but halfway through... we both gave up.... Inedible. I pointed this out to the waiter... (kind and professional), he understood... We paid the bill (I paid the price in full... They didn't include the glass of white wine and a bottle of water in the bill. It was the fourth time I went (with friends) to that restaurant... Now (and I told them), they have lost the customer including the friends....
