21/07/2025: We had the tartare as a starter, the beef fillet with potatoes as a main course as well as the fresh tuna with vegetables and the panna cotta and the chocolate ball with pistachio cream filling for dessert. Each dish was excellently prepared. We were really surprised, as the simple yet nicely designed and neat ambience did not suggest such expertise in the kitchen at first glance. Quality and preparation were at a very high level. Certainly one of the best restaurants in the area. The menu is well-balanced, the wine selection good, the respective recommendations for the dishes were a good match. The price-performance is very fair. Will definitely come back and try the wide selection of cicchetti. Update July 2025: Due to the heat, we opted for cicchetti and a glass of wine at lunchtime: very fresh and top-quality produce, and the friendly service was also impressive. We'll be back again!

09/04/2025: Great place! Before leaving with my boyfriend we went to this restaurant. We ordered pizza and grilled seafood (sea bass). I gave it a 5 star rating, I really liked it. Many Italians come here for lunch. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤌😍🇮🇹

10/07/2025: Quick help on the beach from hunger 😁 a little narrower selection, slightly higher prices than average. But handy when you're on the beach and you're hungry. The food was delicious, the fries were delicious, and the draft beer was great too

16/07/2025: I stayed in the Junior Suite for one night with my family. It was a very nice and quiet place. In the bathroom, each guest had a face towel and a shower towel. If you need to use a bidet, you don't need a hand towel. I asked, but the answer was that they don't use them; if you needed one, they would have given me an extra face towel. The courtesy kit didn't include slippers; I had to ask for them at reception. There was no toothbrush and toothpaste kit, and no intimate wash (usually found in 4-star hotels). The mini-fridge contained only two small bottles of water. Breakfast was rather disappointing, with limited choices and poor quality (the bananas, for example, were all so green and unripe that my daughter couldn't eat any). I've enjoyed richer and much better breakfasts at lower-category hotels. I asked to have breakfast outside, where there were four tables, one of which was free. It was set with only placemats, unlike the other tables, which had yellow napkins and silverware. Only one woman was at breakfast. No one came to take our order, so halfway through breakfast I had to get up and go to the counter to ask for two cappuccinos and a latte. The place wasn't crowded—only five or six tables occupied—but we still had to wait half an hour for the girl to bring them, and by the time they arrived, we'd already finished eating. The staff were friendly, but they lacked attention to detail and customer service. The price was like a 4-star hotel, with service and breakfast definitely not up to par. I don't recommend it; you can find better options at lower prices in 3-star hotels.

31/05/2025: Ambiente anni 60. Ho deciso di cenare in questa trattoria perchè pensavo che qualità/prezzo fosse interessante. Di fatto, per il tipo di trattoria, in due siamo riusciti a spendere quasi 100€ ... assurdo considerando che abbiamo ordinato un primo e mezzo, due secondi, due contorni e un dessert oltre a vino, acqua, caffè e due liquori.

26/06/2025: Fish dinner in a place that is not particularly elegant but with good service and a good atmosphere. The dishes are well-prepared and of good quality. The wine is also good. Too bad for the price that I found excessive.

21/03/2025: In addition to an exceptional menu, what particularly struck me was the service: saying excellent is an understatement, because it aims to make you feel at ease despite the Michelin star! Highly recommended!

09/07/2025: I don’t think I will ever be back again. The place was quite busy , stuff was friendly, but the food was really average. We ordered gluten free pizza, what was fine, but seafood homemade pasta was not good at all. Be aware that you have to pay for gluten free dough and for home made pasta 3,5 euros additional (each ) then also had to pay as a service fee. Well, in the end one pizza , one pasta and tortellini from kids menu ( and two drinks ) were 80 euros. What was absolutely too much for this quality of food. Disappointing

07/07/2025: Traditional pasticeria and delicatessen store. We tried the mortadella panino on the go which was quite good. The store side is perfect, you can find high quality tarallis, pasta and different sauces.

02/07/2025: I returned after many years and found the pizza very good and improved since I was there the last time. Always a nice atmosphere even if it was a bit hot on the veranda, since the air conditioning could not cover the whole room.

15/07/2025: I'm sure we went to this trattoria on a bad night. There were only two waiters and they were struggling to keep pace even though there were quite a few spare tables. The result was slow service that really detracted from the overall meal. The waiters worked hard but they were struggling and we almost had to stop them as they dashed to the kitchen so we could get bread, olive oil, drinks and actually place an order. When it arrived the food was very good. My ravioli was well balanced and tasted lovely. My tuna was cooked well if not that exciting. I would be tempted to try I Masenini again but not on a Monday. However given the large selection of excellent restaurants in Verona it would not be at the top of my list.
