25/08/2024: It's a unique experience. Experienced it in the summer and would like to repeat it in the winter. It's an experience for everyone but don't dream of going equipped and covered because at the top as soon as the sun covers it gets cold. You shouldn't venture onto the glacier alone!
Very beautiful piece of engineering.
Lots of things to see inside too and then the white piano in the hall is a gem!

I ordered the rice, inedible like almost all the other dishes.
slow and inattentive service.
22/11/2024: Already from the outside you can tell that it is a nice place.....located in a small street in the center and in front of the entrance there is a beautiful stone basin with a fountain of spring water.... inside there are exposed brick vaults and very nice place....excellent food and impeccable service....I recommend it.....

14/12/2024: Super nice and competent waiter, the pizzas were also very good, the dough was well-baked. If it weren't for our previous experience with great pizzas in Italy, I would also be maxed out for the food. The place is designed with Italian aesthetics and attention to detail. Modern and pleasant. The emptiness at 6 p.m. is just the calm before the storm. The Italians show up closer to 8 p.m. Almost all tables are available by reservation from around 7:30-45 p.m. I recommend

11/08/2024: Located on the TMB route. Very good service and a very good meal in the evening at the hotel restaurant. The setting is obviously superb, proximity to Mont Blanc obliges 🙂
Good breakfast including regional products.
Also note for hikers the presence of a water point and an ATM a hundred meters further down the street
09/08/2024: Clean and welcoming hotel. Friendly staff.
Excellent and plentiful breakfast with homemade cakes and tarts. Also recommended is the restaurant open for both lunch and dinner except on Mondays.
The only flaw is the lack of a mini bar in the room.

13/12/2024: We had dinner upstairs eating excellent polenta with sausage and tagliatelle with sublime venison ragout. Desserts are the perfect conclusion to the meal. Furthermore, we were also offered, at the time of payment, a glass of excellent genepì. A 10/10 experience

Cabane Du Combal

24/09/2024: An amazingly picturesque and easy walk up to the Cabane, both for grandparents and a 4-year old. Although we went on their last day before closure for the winter , we were greeted and cared for by smiling and energetic staff, as though they were fresh to start their summer season.
Mouth-watering, piping hot traditional mountain dishes were served on spacious outside tables, with breathtaking views towards towering peaks. Delicious desserts, too. And excellent value.
02/09/2024: Perfect location to relax. It's a shame that most of the people who come up here, being a simple climb on a mule track, are not people who love the mountains and respect nature. I've seen it all. Friendly and polite staff, the food is good as in all refuges. It's worth the 2 hour walk also for what there is to see around.

Ho preso un uovo poche con tartufo -spettacolare- e a seguire polenta concia . Mio marito ha preso un filetto alla griglia che non ricorda di aver
mai mangiato così buono, sia per qualità della carne che per la cottura . Gestori professionali e gentili . Che dire ? Da non perdere

27/11/2024: There are no words to describe the beauty and goodness of this place. Japanese chef integrated very well into the Aosta Valley environment, who manages to express his creativity with the territory.
Overall, a remarkable experience!
16/09/2024: We were a group of 5 people who came across this restaurant by chance.
Some were scared when they saw the Michelin logo in front. But as soon as we read the map everything changed.
And dish after dish we were amazed.
Not to mention the perfect welcome.
We all said damn tomorrow we won't be able to come back and eat there because we have to leave.
In any case, go there with your eyes closed and your taste buds wide open.
