18/01/2025: Beautiful, modern and well-maintained cable car. When you go up you have a beautiful view towards the valley and towards Mont Blanc. There are several tabulated times that you can see on the site or up close. When does it ever happen in your life to climb one of the most famous peaks in the world? A must do if you are in the area.

17/01/2025: Simply fantastic! It is not just a viewpoint but a spectacular structure divided into two sections where there are museums, experiences, explanations on climbing and obviously fabulous views of Mont Blanc. It is also a starting point for those who want to do air skiing, paragliding, or off-piste (very demanding).

02/01/2025: Simply great professionals. Everything at the top…. Environment, service, wine list, and above all cuisine. Difficult to find a seat but definitely worth it.

01/01/2025: I had the great pleasure of spending the Christmas week 2024 at Lo Campagnar: a hotel where tradition and elegance are perfectly combined. The staff is really kind and attentive to the needs of all guests, even four-legged ones, keeping the entire facility very clean. Without a doubt, it was the best Alpine stay I have experienced. Furthermore, during our stay, we had the pleasure of dining several times at the hotel restaurant, tasting the excellent and interesting proposals on the menu which offers an original meeting between Sardinian and Aosta Valley cuisine, creating never-to-be-obvious combinations. Particular praise goes to maître Giuseppe, who, with great professionalism and subtle irony, made our stay even more special. His ability to manage the room with discretion, informing with sympathy and elegance and without ever being intrusive, makes him a real strong point of the structure. Ultimately, I can only highly recommend a stay at Campagnar. If you want to stay in a place where you can find a traditional spirit revisited with simplicity, elegance, refinement, and attention towards guests, never intrusive, this is undoubtedly the right place!

01/01/2025: Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo luogo magico la sera del 30 dicembre. Volevamo un ristorante fuori dal centro e ci siamo addentrati in una strada a pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Courmayeur e abbiamo visto questa baita molto suggestiva perchè ubicata di fronte alle montagne e tipica valdostana. Abbiamo ricevuto un’ottima accoglienza da parte del titolare. Erano le 19 e siamo riusciti a trovare un tavolo x miracolo perché era presto. Mentre eravamo lì’ hanno telefonato una trentina di persone per prenotare nei giorni successivi. I tavoli sono limitati, ci sono due salette e una privata x due, romanticissima vista montagne. E’ da vedere perché e’ fantastica l’atmosfera. Abbiamo provato l’insalata di mele (pazzesca), un tagliere di salumi e tomini, crespelle alla valdostana, polenta concia, lamponi caldi e gelato alla crema, marroni all’armagnac, vino della casa. Tutto fantastico e servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo speso 45 euro a testa, prezzo equo considerando che siamo a Courmayeur e il posto è unico. Spero di tornarci.

06/01/2025: Piccolo locale lungo la via centrale di Courmayeur. Siamo stati a pranzo il 31 dicembre. Non avevamo prenotato, ma ci hanno comunque accolti, sfamandoci con gusto. Piatti a dir poco deliziosi. Conto più che onesto. Al momenti del pagamento i ragazzi ci hanno anche offerto il limoncello. Bravi, servirebbero più attività come la vostra!

27/12/2024: Piccolo locale in centro. Abbiamo preso una polenta ed una fonduta ed erano assolutamente gustose e al di sopra delle nostre aspettative ( consapevoli di essere di un posto per turisti). Il personale è giovane, veloce e molto attento a tutti i tavoli. Bravi

18/08/2024: Il posto è splendido, gli interni del bistrot mi sono piaciuti molto, il servizio impeccabile e simpatico, la carta dei vini ottima, la presentazione dei piatti all’altezza del locale, la cucina invece, mi spiace, è stata deludente. Le zuppe troppo asciutte, la polenta taragna troppo liquida ed insapore, la trota di Morgex anonima, ecc. Mi aspettavo decisamente di più perché come sapori, soprattutto nei piatti tradizionali, ho trovato maggior soddisfazione all’arrivo nei vari rifugi fatti. Secondo me ci vorrebbe più sostanza, in fondo sei in montagna, sicuramente in un posto fighetto ma comunque in alcuni piatti sarebbe opportuno focalizzarsi più sui sapori.

10/01/2025: Superb culinary experience! Small but very creative menu, excellent quality and taste. I love the small details such the steak knife and special spoons. We didn’t try the wines , but there was a fine selection available. The whole family was really impressed by the experience, probably the best dinner during our 7 day stay in Courmayeur.

24/09/2024: An amazingly picturesque and easy walk up to the Cabane, both for grandparents and a 4-year old. Although we went on their last day before closure for the winter , we were greeted and cared for by smiling and energetic staff, as though they were fresh to start their summer season. Mouth-watering, piping hot traditional mountain dishes were served on spacious outside tables, with breathtaking views towards towering peaks. Delicious desserts, too. And excellent value.

01/01/2025: Typical place unlike the portions which are smaller than those in Milan. It is unacceptable to pay almost twenty euros for a first course and receive less than 50g of tagliatelle. Hospitality also needs to be reviewed, we asked to be let in the entrance about ten minutes before the restaurant opened because the two year old child with us was cold... we were denied saying that cleaning was in progress. Nothing to say about the products and flavor of the dishes.
