05/11/2025: An unforgettable experience! The modern, cutting-edge structure gives you a sense of safety and durability. Once you reach the top, you'll be enchanted by the beauty of the landscape and the purity of the air you breathe. One note: if you're not used to rapid ascents and descents, you may experience some pressure issues (my ears got blocked during the descent and stayed that way for a whole day 🤣). The fact remains that it's an experience worth trying at least once. :)

A cutting-edge, technologically advanced system that takes you to the highest peaks in a circular cabin that rotates 360°, allowing all passengers to admire the panorama during the ascent and descent, with some seats also available. When you reach the Pavillon, you can enjoy a variety of activities: visit the botanical garden, the Cave Mont Blanc sparkling wine production laboratory, and the hangar on the history of the cable car's construction, or relax on the lounge chairs and have lunch at the restaurant. When you arrive at Punta Helbronner, enchantment is guaranteed: the view is incredible, the air fresh and rarefied, the panorama breathtaking. You can also reserve and dine at the restaurant with an incredible view.

01/02/2026: My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel, and the first thing that struck us was how clean it was. Since we both work in the operating room, we're particularly careful about this aspect, and we can say that the attention to hygiene here—both in the rooms and the common areas—is truly exceptional, almost obsessive in a positive sense. We had half-board (breakfast and dinner) and the experience was simply excellent: top-notch quality, carefully prepared dishes, and impeccable service. The chef is top-notch, and it's no coincidence that the hotel restaurant is also frequented by external guests. The location is perfect: a two-minute walk from the center of Courmayeur, with the added convenience of the hotel's shuttle service to and from the ski slopes. A final, but crucial, mention goes to the staff: in one word, wonderful. Professional, kind, and extremely attentive, they make you feel truly pampered, like family. We'll definitely be back.

05/03/2026: The best meal I’ve ever had. From the foie gras to the mushroom soup and the blue cheese gnocchi, every bite felt warm, rich, and perfectly balanced. The flavors were deep without being heavy, and each dish was clearly made with real care and attention to detail. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every course. Meals like this are rare. The kind where you slow down, savor every bite, and leave already thinking about when you can come back. Truly exceptional.

08/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant with quite high prices and medium quality food. We literally paid 18€ for a dish of 2 raw carrots with mustard, wow. This place is just about the fancy of it.

17/09/2025: Four nights with my family, spent admiring the view from the excellent breakfast, continuing upon our return in the late afternoon to relax in the spotless and welcoming room overlooking the meticulously maintained garden. We finished with dinners at the hotel restaurant, sampling traditional and non-traditional dishes that left us speechless and with a smile on our faces. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed four days with the very friendly, helpful, and professional staff and management, and the cuisine was top-notch. Definitely a place to stay in the upper Aosta Valley, highly recommended and definitely worth returning to.

The walk through the snow from the cable car to the restaurant was truly magical and made everything even more enchanting. The food is truly exceptional. The best tiramisu we've ever had! The service and hospitality are fantastic. Thanks again to everyone for an unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back!

05/02/2026: Absolutely amazing place! A hidden gem on the slopes of Courmayeur, and I am not exaggerating, good luck using Google maps to get there especially if you're not skiing, then it's truly a mission, but well worth it mission. Despite rather ordinary look all of the dishes are one of the best I've tried in this region, especially steak with porcini mushrooms. Also you can't skip a dessert here. The place is quite busy so reservation is recommend.

02/01/2026: A refuge nestled at the foot of the Mont Blanc glacier. A charming spot with excellent food. You'll find traditional dishes as well as alternatives to the classic dishes featuring local cheeses. You can reach the place on foot via a long but stunning hike through the entire Val Veny, or, as we did, by mountain bike rented in the valley. You can safely store your bike. The service is fast, young, and attentive, and the place is very clean. Accommodation is available on the upper floor for those who want to continue exploring the valley on subsequent days. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: Great restaurant, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. We were very pleasantly surprised that the staff spoke Czech and there was a Czech menu available under the QR code. We were very satisfied.

15/03/2026: Best food in Tessero and maybe the region. Very welcoming service. Amazing pizza and paata and other dishes. Good drinks too. Highly recommended if in the area.

15/03/2026: A small restaurant with a warm welcome, exceptional dishes, a unique atmosphere, and excellent wine. They pay great attention to the quality of their dishes and take the utmost care of their customers. We'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: We vacationed in Courmayeur, and unfortunately we only stayed at Baita Ermitage on the last night of our stay, because I'm sure it would have been our regular stop. Baita Ermitage is the kind of place you look for on a typical day in the mountains, perhaps after a long, tiring ski trip: a traditional refuge full of stories, where you're welcomed and pampered by the staff and where you can refuel with traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. Every dish we ordered had the flavor of the Aosta Valley; the portions are generous, and the price is fair for the quantity and quality offered. The view is breathtaking at night, let alone during the day...

27/02/2026: We came here because a friend recommended it, and I'm really happy with it! The owner picked us up at the Courmayeur Hotel and took us there. For appetizers, we had the apple salad (excellent), the salmon trout (of the day and also very good), the tomini with chives (good), and the fondue rolls (basic, but good). For main courses, we had polenta with rabbit, polenta with mushrooms, and a paillarde, all very good. It's very easy to talk, there's not a lot of noise, and it's suitable for groups of 1 to 10 or more. The setting is beautiful, in the stone, typical of a mountain hut. However, the desserts leave much to be desired. The tiramasu, instead of having mascarpone cream and coffee, had yellow lemon cream and chocolate. The chestnuts with cream tasted like nothing, but the warm raspberries with ice cream were very good. Overall, the restaurant has many strong points, but one weakness: the desserts.

28/02/2026: This place has very odd pizzas - super thin, which seems nice at the beginning but not after it cools down even slightly. However, the biggest downside was the literal total lack of toilet paper in the toilet. Yes, really.

19/02/2026: La Grolla is one of the best in Courmayeur ! The food, view, vibe and staff are all fantastic. We got married there in winter some years ago -going up the gondola at night and food/dancing until midnight - the best day of my life and we couldnt have had our winter wonderland wedding come true if La Grolla staff and owners didn't step up the way they did. Thank you La Grolla - can't wait to return!

01/02/2026: Lovely mountain restaurant. Very friendly staff, offering excellent food and drinks. Not your average burger, and very good vension fagu and pasta. Booking recommended on a sunny day, beautiful small 1st floor terrace.
