05/11/2025: An unforgettable experience! The modern, cutting-edge structure gives you a sense of safety and durability. Once you reach the top, you'll be enchanted by the beauty of the landscape and the purity of the air you breathe. One note: if you're not used to rapid ascents and descents, you may experience some pressure issues (my ears got blocked during the descent and stayed that way for a whole day 🤣). The fact remains that it's an experience worth trying at least once. :)

A cutting-edge, technologically advanced system that takes you to the highest peaks in a circular cabin that rotates 360°, allowing all passengers to admire the panorama during the ascent and descent, with some seats also available. When you reach the Pavillon, you can enjoy a variety of activities: visit the botanical garden, the Cave Mont Blanc sparkling wine production laboratory, and the hangar on the history of the cable car's construction, or relax on the lounge chairs and have lunch at the restaurant. When you arrive at Punta Helbronner, enchantment is guaranteed: the view is incredible, the air fresh and rarefied, the panorama breathtaking. You can also reserve and dine at the restaurant with an incredible view.

30/03/2026: An intimate restaurant with meticulous attention to detail in a truly remarkable location. I would have liked to try more dishes, but the prices (though still reasonable for the location) didn't allow for it. The lard in the antipasto con moccetta was remarkable; it truly melted in the mouth. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was very good, but would have looked better on a ceramic plate than in a pan, where it seemed sparse in quantity. The house mint-based digestif was excellent. There was nothing to complain about the quality of the service or the kindness of the waiters, absolutely worthy of the place.

13/04/2026: Excellent dinner at Cadrane Solaire: a warm, welcoming atmosphere, professional yet fun service that adds a touch of lightness, and excellent food. We had Borretane onions with blue cheese ice cream, risotto with pea cream, a Valdostana (definitely worth sharing between at least two people), and delicious Auberge ice cream and a Montenapoleone meringue with Mont Blanc. Absolutely worth a try!
12/04/2026: Lunch in Courmayeur at Cadran Solaire. Hearty and well-balanced dishes: the "La Favo'" with short pasta, fava beans, sausage, crostini, and fondue was excellent, as was the restaurant's own fondue, both good quality and well-executed. The atmosphere was traditional and romantic, in keeping with the mountain setting.

03/06/2026: Very nice hotel, both inside and out... very clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service from all the staff, and something you don't often find, waiters who open the exit door for you... really rare to find... very convenient location for the slopes and the skyway... perhaps the only flaw is the road signs to get there... Entering the town there are two signs, but using the first with a slightly larger car you won't get through so it's better to use the second one going up a little higher and it's definitely easier...

02/01/2026: A refuge nestled at the foot of the Mont Blanc glacier. A charming spot with excellent food. You'll find traditional dishes as well as alternatives to the classic dishes featuring local cheeses. You can reach the place on foot via a long but stunning hike through the entire Val Veny, or, as we did, by mountain bike rented in the valley. You can safely store your bike. The service is fast, young, and attentive, and the place is very clean. Accommodation is available on the upper floor for those who want to continue exploring the valley on subsequent days. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: We vacationed in Courmayeur, and unfortunately we only stayed at Baita Ermitage on the last night of our stay, because I'm sure it would have been our regular stop. Baita Ermitage is the kind of place you look for on a typical day in the mountains, perhaps after a long, tiring ski trip: a traditional refuge full of stories, where you're welcomed and pampered by the staff and where you can refuel with traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. Every dish we ordered had the flavor of the Aosta Valley; the portions are generous, and the price is fair for the quantity and quality offered. The view is breathtaking at night, let alone during the day...
27/02/2026: We came here because a friend recommended it, and I'm really happy with it! The owner picked us up at the Courmayeur Hotel and took us there. For appetizers, we had the apple salad (excellent), the salmon trout (of the day and also very good), the tomini with chives (good), and the fondue rolls (basic, but good). For main courses, we had polenta with rabbit, polenta with mushrooms, and a paillarde, all very good. It's very easy to talk, there's not a lot of noise, and it's suitable for groups of 1 to 10 or more. The setting is beautiful, in the stone, typical of a mountain hut. However, the desserts leave much to be desired. The tiramasu, instead of having mascarpone cream and coffee, had yellow lemon cream and chocolate. The chestnuts with cream tasted like nothing, but the warm raspberries with ice cream were very good. Overall, the restaurant has many strong points, but one weakness: the desserts.

The servers wear white shirts and aprons—so professional for a slope-side spot. Highly recommend. (I used AI to proof read this review for grammar)
