19/12/2024: Tutto perfetto. Ottimo cibo, personale cortese, locale pulito e tranquillo. Ottimo locale anche per i celiaci che possono condividere il menù con chi non ha problemi di intolleranze, così da poter mangiare le medesime cose senza dover rinunciare a nulla. Grande attenzione al rispetto del disciplinare AIC.

14/12/2024: Sono stato per l'ennesima volta in questo grazioso e accogliente localino nel centro di Aosta meta preferita quando vengo in montagna e ancora una volta non posso che confermare un giudizio ottimo sul menù proposto. Personalmente ho accompagnato ad un panciburger una ottima birra e il panino con ingredienti ottimi soddisfa appieno il palato dopodiché il menù offre parecchie proposte tutte accompagnate da prodotti locali che spaziano dalla fontina alla pancetta Consiglio prenotare anche se personalmente ho trovato posto andando per le 12.30

12/12/2024: Wonderfully eaten in a welcoming environment. This could be the summary but I can assure you that the Fassona tartare cut with a grill and the dessert with chestnuts and honey ice cream were pure poetry. Great variety of wines combined with considerable expertise on the part of the chef.

07/12/2024: My partner and I had dinner in this bistro in the center of Aosta, found on The Fork, and it was an experience that won us over. The venue has an elegant and refined atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. The cuisine is of the highest level, and you can sense the great attention paid to the preparation of each dish: everything, from the starter to the dessert, was simply delicious. We started with an extraordinary vitello tonnato, followed by the second courses: octopus and cheek with puree. In all three cases, I can say that I have hardly eaten better versions of these dishes. All accompanied by a glass of Aosta Valley wine recommended by the staff, a choice perfectly in line with the dishes. To conclude, a tartare and an ice cream, both impeccable. The service was punctual and courteous, with a truly excellent quality-price ratio. A place that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy quality cuisine in a refined atmosphere.

21/07/2024: An elegant and intimate restaurant in the old town of Aosta, which is worth a detour. A very personal cuisine through a mystery tasting menu or à la carte. For us, seasonal starters and a delicious pigeon in three courses. A suggested food and wine pairing that highlights Italian red wines and introduces white and curiosities like this dry Tokay grape variety. Excellent dessert

31/08/2024: Place chosen by chance, we wanted to eat some fish and we made an excellent choice! Not a very large place, but developed on two floors. Really friendly and helpful staff, very good food! Nothing to say! Very generous starter! The mussels are delicious, a truly special sauce! The same one they use to season the seafood risotto, I really liked it! Dessert served with a glass of moscato which went very well. Above all, not too much expense, I would say the quality for the price is very excellent! Truly highly recommended!

28/08/2024: I had lunch in this restaurant during a work break and I must say that it was a pleasant discovery. The decor of the place is a little dated, with a style reminiscent of times gone by, but don't let the appearance fool you: the quality of the food is really good! The dishes are well prepared and served with care, using fresh, quality ingredients. The quality-price ratio is definitely right, which is not always easy to find. If you are looking for a place to have a good lunch without spending too much, this restaurant is highly recommended for a relaxing and satisfying lunch break.

14/12/2024: Brewery in the center of Aosta. Very youthful looking place (industrial style) with an excellent selection of beers and a menu suited to them. Great food and friendly, helpful staff. The booking service is also very functional: it does not require speaking to the staff and confirmation arrives on WhatsApp. It was all a pleasant discovery. Very recommended!

09/12/2024: Good restaurant in the center of Aosta, friendly and timely service. We ate in the room above, the space was a bit small, the table was in the passage. Menu with choices of sea and land, with particular creative ideas. The scallops are excellent, the spaghetti is good, the pear tartella is decent. Average price around €60 without wine. I will definitely come back to try other dishes. 😉

04/12/2024: Update November 2024 Please tell the staff to stop whistling all the time! It's very annoying, especially, but not only, when they whistle random notes. --- Update September 2024 New staff, some problems solved, new problems introduced. The new waiters change every day, except one who always greets you with a cold "hello" and systematically forgets the orders placed at the table. Furthermore, all the waiters seem to ignore that the tables must be cleaned and, when they do, not with a quick wipe of the cloth, if there are puddles of cream and Nutella dropped by previous customers. --- Update February 2024 The excellent quality of the food is undeniable. The problem is the service, which shows the urgent need for some of the staff for a course on customer management. Customers who sometimes wait biblical times to even be noticed. Once noticed, they must hope that the order is remembered by the staff during the short journey between the table and the counter. All it would take is a notepad (to always be used) and a little more supervision on the part of the more experienced staff and owners who instead seem to intentionally want to overlook the problem. The staff, when moving between the tables or when they look up from what they are doing from the counter, always look above the customers' heads, almost as if to intentionally avoid meeting their gaze and risk having to take other orders. To be noticed, customers have to get up and go to the counter, wave their arms, or simply wait for a stroke of luck. If and when staff pay attention to customers, they often do so in the wrong order and those who arrive last end up being served first. When they bring the order, you have to hope that it is the right one: almost always, whether the victim is myself or another customer, there is a wrong coffee or a dish not ordered. These problems can be corrected if, as I wrote, a minimum level of surveillance is implemented and staff is trained. All this when there is a normal flow of customers. At peak times, these problems are compounded by the lack of staff: you rarely see more than two people behind the counter or between the tables, but at lunch or in the morning (particularly on weekends), at least 4 people would be needed. The good thing about all this is that they got rid of the arrogant and rude waitress who surely scared away a considerable number of customers.
