30/12/2024: Sono tornato alla vineria San Fortunato dopo tre anni e purtroppo, sono rimasto un po' deluso. Abbiamo ordinato due risotti con radicchio, noci e caciotta e dopo aver atteso parecchio tempo ed aver visto servire tutti gli altri tavoli, ci è stato detto che la causa era dovuta ad un errore sulla prenotazione. Ci può stare, ci mancherebbe, quindi, abbiamo detto che avremmo aspettato senza problemi. Dopo nemmeno cinque minuti, ci siamo visti arrivare i due risotti che già alla vista, non promettevano granché. Brodosi, senza noci, con il radicchio a pezzettoni e con la caciotta praticamente inesistente...Mi spiace ma il piatto non era accettabile. Abbiamo poi proseguito con un tiramisù al pistacchio che invece era buono e ben presentato. Il conto sarebbe stato anche in linea ma dopo quanto successo, mi aspettavo di vedermi tolti quanto meno i due caffè. Il personale è comunque stato cordiale, ma sarebbe stata davvero elegante anche solo una parola al momento di pagare.

08/02/2025: We went to this restaurant during our stay in Todi and left fully satisfied! We ate very well, with abundant dishes full of flavour. We started with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, really excellent and plentiful, so much so that we struggled to finish the following courses (with great disappointment, because they were delicious!). The tortellini were spectacular, homemade and with a tasty and enveloping filling. The mixed grill was no different: quality meat, cooked to perfection and accompanied by tasty side dishes such as a delicious rosemary chickpea purée. We also really appreciated the selection of craft beers, perfect to accompany the meal. And finally, a pleasant surprise: they offered us bitters and coffee, a gesture that we appreciated very much. The prices are very honest for the quality and quantity of the food. Compliments to the cuisine and the service, always kind and attentive. We will bring home a beautiful memory of Todi also thanks to this splendid trattoria. We will definitely be back!

25/01/2025: A beautiful winter day in one of the most characteristic Umbrian cities cannot fail to be seasoned with a lunch of pure Umbrian cuisine, made of local raw materials and valorization of tradition: this is how Osteria Valle presents itself, a restaurant in the center of Todi, where the Beatrice's gastronomic flair and Anna's hospitality reflect all the qualities of this land, full of surprises and flavours: pork shank in beer, roveja soup, cappelletti, boiled beef sautéed in pan, stracciatella with truffle... And other dishes that cannot fail to arouse the curiosity and taste of those who come to this splendid region of central Italy for work or pleasure. Do you want to eat Umbrian? 05/10/2024: Great wine, great food, great service. We enjoyed it a lot. The pork and the truffle noodles were amazing and the desserts also special and different from what you normally get even if you order standard dishes. Service was quick and friendly. It's also possible to do a wine tasting from their own vineyard.

12/01/2025: A cena con la famiglia e amici i primi giorni del 2025. Sembra di andare a mangiare a casa di nonna, ambiente caldo e accogliente, personale cortese e famigliare, per non parlare poi del menu proposto. Come primi piatti abbiamo optato per le fettuccine al ragù in bianco e il Risotto con castagne e tartufo, letteralmente Strepitoso. La carne cotta sulla griglia a vista in sala è risultata molto buona, il galletto alla diavola è sfiziosissimo. Ottima anche la proposta delle bottiglie di vino anche se non composta da molte etichette ma selezionata da alcune Cantine Umbre. Da provare assolutamente.

04/01/2025: Mamma mia tutto buonissimo! The tagliata is the best I have ever eaten ! We went there two times while we stayed nearby for 5 days. From starter to dessert, the food is incredibly good, so tasty ! We def go back if we again go that area 👍

14/01/2025: Family and quiet environment. The robot that brings the dishes to the table is nice.... Great variety of pizzas, many refined with quality ingredients. Very good pizza, large, thin and very well seasoned. The gluten-free pizza is also good. Prices in line but not high. We will happily return, it was a pleasant discovery.

17/01/2025: In the central Piazza del Popolo in Todi, I was expecting something "touristy", but Basico, in name but not in fact, turned out to be a very lucky choice! We weren't very hungry but we couldn't help but have the inviting egg pouch on parmesan fondue, with truffle. Splendid to look at and exceptional in the flavors that support each other and enhanced by a generous dose of truffle. A rich and complete dish! At that point there was only room for dessert, a very refined panna cotta and a "silk" tiramisu, which were also greatly appreciated! Of note is the menu described in a creative and fascinating way and the great kindness of the staff, combined with in-depth knowledge of the dishes offered. A place to return to with your eyes closed to enjoy all these aspects as well as inspired cuisine! Thank you!

05/01/2025: Possibly one of the best restaurants where I have eaten in Italy, and we have done so in many places. Located in the heart of the wonderful medieval city of Todi. In the main square, next to the cathedral and the communal palace. The atmosphere and decoration deserve to be called luxury. Everything is clean, shiny, decorated with great taste. Entering this place makes you feel important. Very well set tables, quality tablecloths, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Everything is designed to give a feeling of beauty, which is achieved. Very professional, friendly and very efficient staff. Good cuisine, tasty dishes, very well presented. Not abundant, correct. Broad letter. Excellent wine list. Delicious homemade desserts. Obviously it is not a cheap restaurant, you may have already guessed, but for the quality offered, the service and the atmosphere described, the prices are tight, below expectations. It is a highly recommended inn, to which we will return without hesitation.
