09/03/2026: Campers discovering the culinary delights of Italy, hailing from the Tuscia region and wandering through the isolated hills and marvelous castles of the Todi region, near Todi, we stumbled upon a remote village of four souls, Izzalini. As we sat at our table, we were immediately greeted with a small welcome aperitif, followed shortly by an appetizer of lard on toasted bread and onion parmigiana! We were already ecstatic! When the first courses arrived, I couldn't believe it! A Deruta ceramic plate so large that not even my grandmother had one! Piled high with white hare ragù with handmade tagliatelle! My wife had tagliatelle with deer ragù. At that point, we mustered up our courage and grabbed our forks; we ate until we could stomach it! Unfortunately, I don't have any concrete documentation of what happened, but I can assure you it's not a place for the faint of heart! Be careful who enters, because the culinary experience here will infect you and drive your palate crazy, and you won't sleep at night, because the only thought that will cross your mind is coming back here! 12/01/2026: Wonderful, fresh pizza, either traditional "al taglio" or round restaurant-style made to order. Don't feel like having pizza? They also have homemade pasta dishes and salads, along with chicken wings and on special days, the best porchetta in the region. They have a great outdoor eating area for people-watching and an intimate indoor space if the weather is inclement. Highly recommended.

03/03/2026: When there's no free table inside, you can sit outside, sheltered by a veranda, and you'll be treated with all the attention. A restaurant with a good menu, combining pleasant flavors and traditional local flavors, and a good red wine that warms your stomach and helps you absorb the dishes served. The service is polite, courteous, and efficient, the bill is fair. Well done, we'll definitely return to try the witch's soup.

22/02/2026: Yesterday we had lunch at this trattoria; we couldn't have made a better choice! For starters, a lovely platter of game cured meats, each one better than the last. The bruschetta with pecorino cheese, honey, and coffee was a wonderful surprise! The first courses were truly magical: the wild boar ragù was truly fantastic, and the maltagliati with porcini mushrooms and sausage was a real treat! For the main course, a pork stew with wine that melted in your mouth. Kudos to all the staff, and a special thank you from our dog, too.

20/03/2026: A truly local experience, they prepare filled sandwiches (both meat and vegetarian) in an intimate, rustic setting, where the friendly staff will help you create the perfect sandwich at a competitive price. A feast of flavors where the simplicity and quality of the ingredients will leave you long-memorable. This will be a must-visit for me when I pass through Todi. Antonio

04/01/2026: Had dinner last night with friends at this restaurant that you wouldn't expect... 1) the beauty of the location, 2) the kindness and professionalism of the staff, 3) the food, which is excellent, plentiful, and tasty. Finally, the price is not excessive.

12/10/2025: I went there with my wife. Excellent pizza and excellent service, even when the place was full (Saturday night). The vegetarian selection is also decent (we're in Umbria, after all). Recommended if you're in the center of Todi.

04/01/2026: An extraordinary surprise. We stumbled upon it by chance after searching on Maps and quickly booked, and were lucky enough to get the last available table. The atmosphere was authentic, the menu original yet traditional, the dishes exquisite, and the bill reasonable. I highly recommend this place. We'll be back in the warmer months to enjoy the view under the pergola. Thank you!

14/01/2026: We spent a wonderful New Year's Eve here. The hotel was modern, the rooms were clean, and, considering the low temperatures outside, they were very warm. The breakfast, dinner, and New Year's Eve dinner were truly excellent and special. From the hotel, you can walk to the center of Todi or drive to the nearby beautiful Umbrian villages. We plan to return on our next trip to Umbria.

05/01/2026: A typical restaurant with paintings that recall the life and personal experiences of the Blessed. Fast and attentive service. The pasticcio and the first courses are delicious. The Amaro Jacopone, the real highlight, is a must-try.

The food was carefully prepared and delicious, and the waitress was discreet and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend it; the prices were reasonable for the excellent quality of the food.

22/01/2026: What a wonderful little place. Anna, the girl who welcomes you and oversees your meal, is incredibly kind and super sweet. The food is very good and beautifully presented. The bill is super fair. I found the atmosphere very nice and super clean, even the bathroom. Highly recommended!

A fun New Year's Eve evening with entertainment and live music by Livio Live. A very family-friendly atmosphere, with always helpful owners and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Great wine, great food, great service. We enjoyed it a lot. The pork and the truffle noodles were amazing and the desserts also special and different from what you normally get even if you order standard dishes. Service was quick and friendly. It's also possible to do a wine tasting from their own vineyard.

18/03/2026: We visited this restaurant for Women's Day dinner, and although the evening darkness prevented us from fully enjoying the breathtaking view from the terrace, the experience was still fantastic. We opted for the four-course set menu, and I must say that every dish was a testament to quality and flavor. But the real highlight of the evening was the sommelier: she guided us with incredible professionalism, perfectly pairing each course with a different wine. Each choice was perfectly balanced with the flavors of the dish, making the gastronomic journey truly complete. The location is spectacular and the atmosphere is great, but we're still curious to return, both to admire the view in the sunlight and to try the dishes on the menu, which looked truly inviting and original. We'll definitely be back, perhaps for lunch on the terrace!
