18/11/2023: We decided to splurge and try the 5 course degustazione menu with paired wines. The wines were very good, however the food was a huge disappointment. The quality of the food served was not comparable to other degustazione menus we have tried. The expectation is to have very high quality foods prepared and presented in unique ways. Instead, we got bruschetta, vegetable soup, a small portion of pasta and a couple of meatballs. The dessert was biscuits. The disappointment is in the price you are paying for the basic common food that was served. We had eaten the same things at other restaurants in the area for a fraction of the price we paid here. The owner was very attentive but completely focused on the wine. So, it's a great place to have a meal and some wine, and they certainly have an interesting selection of wines, but we would not recommend doing the degustazione menu.

29/04/2024: I had lunch in this restaurant with my boyfriend and unfortunately I have to say that the service is really bad. The lady who I presume to be the owner runs back and forth to accompany people to the table, bring the menu, take the order and make the final bill, with long waiting times. We ordered two first courses that arrived almost twenty minutes apart from each other, the organization is unclear as the waitresses go from table to table to understand whose dish they have. A real shame about the service because the view of the external area is worth a lot and above all it is a large area where you can have lunch in peace

28/04/2024: Beautiful place with very good food, the black truffle scramble is the thing I appreciated the most, the only flaw was the service: at 9.40pm they closed the kitchen and couldn't cook a schnitzel for the little girl! (After getting off work at 8.30pm we arrived at the restaurant at 9pm or so so we ate in fast food times). At 10pm we had the receipt on the table...

01/04/2024: Beautiful structure. Stop. We stayed, three families, from the Friday before Easter to Monday in Albis at this property.. Problems with booking right from the start, rates blocked in Advance booking disappeared upon confirmation... then reappeared after explaining that advance booking serves precisely to block the best rate... and oh well... Balance requested before arrival and tourist tax requested at the beginning of the stay... now I understand why... Half board hotel formula with rooms never made up in 4 days, towels never changed, invasion of ants on arrival, in 2 out of 3 rooms, and what's more embarrassing we had to beg for toilet paper (2 rolls in 4 days for 3 people) ... the receptionist bounced us off at the restaurant, it's better not to talk about the restaurant... in the end, after various complaints, it was delivered to us in front of all the customers of the restaurant, loose, by hand... oh well There is no covered common area, the restaurant cannot be used before 7.30pm (Swiss punctuality) and despite the wind and cold we had to spend every afternoon in the small squares in front of the reception and the bar... getting cold and having no chance to do nothing... small rooms to accommodate us all... (Children returned home affected... Thank you). Children, verbally warned several times for allowing themselves to play with the ball... (the parent is called or a regulation is exposed but the children are not shouted at). Apartment plumbing noisy all night, with sink gurgling water. Maintenance of the greenery with motorized lawnmowers and leaf vacuum cleaners, very noisy, all Saturday afternoon when the children wanted to rest, work that is carried out, logically speaking, before the arrival of the guests... and oh well... Catering: no comment. The chef is nice but the service and dishes are truly embarrassing. Unpresentable wine list. And finally.. we forgot 200 euros worth of truffles and cured meats in the fridge.. but they denied that anyone had found anything.. (the reception was notified a few hours after we noticed it). 28/01/2024: Structure that has great potential but is not valorised. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired, as there is a general lack of care and maintenance. Unbalanced value for money; inadequate price for the offer.

12/02/2024: A place with an important and well-kept entrance that allows you to savor the artistic beauties of Spello! A simple but refined cuisine with good products and prices appropriate to the offer offered. Very welcoming and kind staff... just more attention in serving the whole table together... but it is also true that we arrived in three families with 3 people each with different requests! A 10% welcome compared to the nearby Osteria DeDada which seated us outside so as not to push two tables together... stop at Cavour, you won't regret it!

01/04/2024: Very nice place in the center of Spello, we decided to stop for an aperitif enticed by the menu with many products based on extra virgin olive oil, from drinks to food, all really good... recommended

24/02/2024: Very special experience. Truly excellent oil. However, the prices are very high compared to the quantity of the portions; a bit of a shame. Not to be missed if you are an oil lover.

05/04/2024: Enchanting place a stone's throw from the center of Spello, one of the most beautiful villages in Umbria... Excellent typical Umbrian cuisine. Handmade pasta and delicious dishes! To try!! Sympathy, friendliness and professionalism. Suitable for children. The outdoor garden and swimming pool are beautiful Rating 10/10

14/02/2024: We spent one night at Terre del Cantico with our camper and had a great time. The owner welcomed us cordially and made us feel at home as did the cook, who prepared a delicious dinner for us. We hope to return soon!
