26/01/2024: We didn't stop for long, the bus left us there to combine with another route to Macerata but the views it offered us were divine. We walked around a little and it was a great shame that the church closed at that time.

01/04/2024: During a holiday we ate here for a quick lunch, on the recommendation of friends. A wonderful meal and really cheap for the quality of the wine and food. Super friendly and attentive staff even though the place was crowded. If we happen to be in Perugia again we will definitely return here!

02/04/2024: We ate on Easter Monday in this place in the center of Perugia, a parallel street on Corso Vannucci, excellent food, excellent quality and, as far as the price is concerned, surprising for being in the centre; 4 starters, 5 first courses, 2 desserts, 2 bitters, 4 coffee drinks and cover charge 113 euros. Judge for yourself😉. To be taken into consideration for those visiting Perugia. Oh I forgot the staff were very kind and quick. Thank you.

13/03/2024: Siamo stati a cena in questo locale davvero molto caldo ed accogliente. Servizio veloce e camerieri gentili. Abbiamo ordinato 2 primi, 3 secondi, una bottiglia di vino e 3 dolci per un totale di 150 euro. I primi e i secondi molto buoni, consiglio gli strangozzi ai carciofi e uovo marinato davvero squisiti. Il dolce non al livello dei primi piatti, ma comunque discreto. Ci tornerei volentieri

06/04/2024: Such a great spot. Amazing wine collection, delicious food, and helpful service. We came with our 18 month old and they were so open to us even though it’s a bit of a small space and no high chairs. Everything we tried was delicious. Would definitely come back here sans kid and explore more wine options.

30/03/2024: In a small side street on the main pedestrian street of Perugia you will find this pleasant Umbrian restaurant. The main dish is the stuffed or plated torte al testo (focaccia or Umbrian piadina) and a wide selection of wines. 4 of us had lunch and tasted the mortadella tosta, the photonica (porchetta and vegetables). The ultra kind owner jumps from table to table satisfying all the requests of the onlookers. Highly recommended.

05/04/2024: Had a great meal on Friday with fish dishes recommended by a fantastic, competent and very kind Elisabetta who gracefully accompanied us until the end of the dinner with the stratospheric desserts. Super recommended but there would be no need because it is a very well-known place.

02/01/2024: Caffè Turreno is located in the historic centre of Perugia, a few dozen metres from the cathedral. This café-restaurant was part of the historic Turreno cinema-theatre, dating back to 1871, which was closed in 2010, but is due to reopen in 2025 thanks to an innovative project that will make it a multipurpose cultural centre. In the café-restaurant, recently reopened under new management, we had a quick lunch on the first day of 2024. We had "pinsa Cantabrico", a focaccia with burrata, courgette flowers, Cantabrian anchovies, a "Paleta iberica di Patanegra 80g e torta al testo" (Torta al Testo is an ancient Umbrian focaccia mixed and cooked on a cast iron plate, then filled with the best of the local butcher’s pork products), a dish of pasta with anchovies and a "Satellite" an out-of-menu dessert (wheels of meringue layered with whipped cream and chocolate), a bottle of water and a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau for a total bill of €59.20. All tasted very good and the service was excellent.

05/04/2024: very atmospheric place, very nice staff. We received our order 5 minutes after placing it. very tasty pizza, at a ridiculous price (6€ for a margerita) + draft wine 7€ for 1/2 liter. I highly recommend it 😊
