14/09/2025: Fab meal - excellent service. Nice intro to the menu, few giggles and a friendly service. Had some delicious food and yummy wine. And it wasn’t too pricey. Would we go back? YES!

08/09/2025: Vineria dei Re is definitely a good place to enjoy Gubbio specialties. The atmosphere is unpretentious, casual, and perfect for a casual evening in a lovely little square in the center of Gubbio. The platter of cured meats and the typical local crescia are delicious, as are the eggs with truffles. The staff are very friendly, but coming to ask several times in the space of a few minutes if we'd chosen (and they'd practically just given us the menus) isn't the best, unless you're spending hours choosing. Do I recommend it? Yes, absolutely, but I think it has the potential to be even better.

13/10/2025: A lovely family-run inn, with very good food, simple and traditional, but expertly prepared. Good value. The owners are very kind and friendly. The place is very small, so reservations are recommended.

12/10/2025: Excellent dinner. Fettuccine with truffle and porcini mushrooms was truly excellent. Traditional flavors that are hard to find.

17/10/2025: We work in the Gubbio area and were recommended this place. The menu is perfect (you won't leave hungry), the place is quaint, and the service is fast and friendly.

15/10/2025: The place is very nice, under the vaults. The staff is okay, nothing more. The food is good and for totally reasonable prices, which is not the case with other places in Gubbio... So I think it's a good address :)

26/09/2025: A family-friendly and informal atmosphere. The food is excellent; when we're in Gubbio, we always eat at La Balestra. We've known it our whole lives, and it always maintains high standards. Highly recommended, even for vegetarians.

Locale davvero molto piacevole e accogliente dove puoi goderti tranquillamente la tua serata. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti tra cui la tartare, il tortino di carciofi, puré di fave,passatelli in brodo e dolci.... Tutto MERAVIGLIOSO! COMPLIMENTI Francesca! Personale molto gentile. 28/09/2025: I'm just saying that my husband would love to come back here many more times. We've been here for dinner and lunch and had a truly wonderful meal. The dishes are homemade, plentiful, and excellent, with a vast selection of first courses (we tried four over the two days, and we can honestly say they were all better than the last). The staff is young and incredibly friendly. The wait times are short, even on a Saturday night. Delicious desserts. The value for money is unbelievable. Congratulations, truly. 24/09/2025: A great place for those "holiday dinners" when you don't feel like a restaurant or even a regular sandwich. The café, in addition to excellent gelato and coffee, offers delicious hot and cold dishes and delicious salads. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Excellent beer bar in the center of Gubbio. The charcuterie board is superb, all sourced from a local farm. The pizza was excellent; it may have been cooked for 20-30 seconds, but the quality of the ingredients is always top-notch. There's also a good selection of beers, all written on the blackboard in true English pub style.

07/09/2025: Fra Luppolo is a cozy and relaxed pub with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent (try the breaded chicken and Ascoli olives, which are shipped directly from Ascoli Piceno). Not to mention the tongue sandwich! And what more can I say? You better try it. All washed down with excellent beers!

28/09/2025: We stayed at this farmhouse nestled in the woods for just one night. We had a wonderful time. The room was welcoming, well-kept and very clean. The view was stunning. The owner was very kind. The breakfast was special, with homemade cakes, honey, and jams. It was an experience to be repeated.

22/09/2025: The staff is not friendly like in most restaurants we've been to in Umbria. My husband liked his pizza but my meatball and mortadella panini was missing the pesto (their "signature" dish they feature on the cover of their menu). The wine pour was also pretty scant.

10/09/2025: Beautiful place with friendly reception and provides amazing massages. The pool is a bonus for sunny days. Food is OK, rooms attractive but very hot, with thin walls to hear others talking in adjacent rooms, and the bed wakes you every time a bare movement is made due to loud creaking. Would I return? No, as the massages and pool alone isn't a big enough selling factor.

A pleasant location surrounded by nature; ideal for a relaxing stay (infinity pool overlooking the Umbrian hills), as a base for visiting the beautiful villages near the abbey, or for group vacations (living room and terrace). Guido, an expert and passionate about the area, is a supporter of charitable projects and initiatives, which he will gladly explain when appropriate, and Stefano, an expert in courtesy and attentiveness, always with the right amount of discretion, will be happy to assist. An excellent solution!
