10/07/2025: Dinner with my wife, July 8th. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the service excellent; the hostess was very kind. The food was more than satisfying. The starters were delicious!!! We'll definitely be back.

30/06/2025: It is in fact a self-service, not too large (in this period people come in droves) but it has a wide variety of ready meals (everything we consumed was good), drinks, desserts and coffee: in the reality of Assisi, a good solution, relatively cheap.

04/08/2025: This year, too, we spent a wonderful holiday at the "La Terrazza" hotel in Assisi: an enchanting location, a fully equipped facility, surrounded by greenery, a beautiful pool, and friendly, welcoming staff. But the best part is the manager, Antonello, a very human and customer-focused man, welcoming and committed to continuously improving the hotel to make his guests' stays ever more comfortable. A heartfelt thank you to Antonello, his family, and all the staff.

04/08/2025: Worth going a little off the Main Street for a calm, relaxed little oasis. Had the prawn and squid stew, which was delightful. Kids had pizzas and my wife had the caprese salad - all very happy. Great value for middle of a tourist city. Service brisk but friendly.

10/08/2025: A unique venue. Friendly and helpful staff. Going to a restaurant called "Carnalmente" and not particularly loving meat is a big risk. Yet they surprised me with an excellent appetizer and an equally tasty first course. My companion opted for appetizers and a grilled dish, which I admit I tried. We didn't miss out on dessert, and we finished on a high note. The price was reasonable for what was on offer. A well-deserved star rating. We pass by here every year, and we'll definitely be back.

The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding—breathtaking views, timeless charm, and a peacefulness that’s hard to put into words. But what truly made it unforgettable was the warmth and care from Giorgia and her family, who own and run the Castello. Giorgia, one of the owners, was also our wedding planner. She was incredible—kind, calm, and always there for us. She helped us with everything and made the entire planning experience feel smooth and joyful. Our welcome dinner had to be moved indoors due to rain, but it turned into one of our favorite memories—guests moving between the cozy rooms and the fresh air outside, sipping Aperols under a glowing post-rain sunset. It felt spontaneous and absolutely perfect. On the wedding day, just before dinner, a sudden thunderstorm hit. Giorgia, her team, and our amazing florist 'Leandro Flowers' worked together like magic to move everything inside the Castello. What could have been a disaster became one of the most beautiful, candlelit scenes we could have imagined. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. The pasta alla norcina was an 11/10, and every single dish—from the welcome dinner to the midnight snacks—was perfect. Even with 170 guests, everything ran seamlessly. The service, the quality, the flow—flawless. Castello di Petrata is not just a venue—it’s a place full of heart, soul, and people who truly care. We will carry this place in our hearts forever.

17/07/2025: Siamo stati in questa locanda, ci siamo innamorati dell'ottimo cibo e dei vini semplicemente meravigliosi Un cameriere di una simpatia disarmante e alta professionalità, In questa locanda è tutto perfetto, un servizio efficente, il cameriere si preoccupa di non far mancare mai nulla, il cibo ottimo per i bambini. Speriamo di tornar presto!!! Per assaggiare la meravigliosa cucina dello chef!! Un cinque stelle a questo posto in un borgo medioevale, tra la qualità dei piatti e il romanticismo di questa splendida Assisi... Genny C

07/08/2025: Delicious pizza. If you go, ask for Michele: he's a wonderful person, like his pizza ☺️ Since we were with a large group of young people, he even gave us free drinks. We'll definitely be back.

06/08/2025: The atmosphere is pleasantly rustic, with everything you could possibly need, but the most important thing is... the pizza! Baked by a true Neapolitan pizza chef, it's truly EXCEPTIONAL in its variety of flavors! If you have room for a dessert at the end of the meal, I highly recommend the unmissable Babà filled with a variety of flavors! In my opinion, it deserves 5 stars!
