Local and I must say that we were pleasantly satisfied! We were welcomed with kindness and warmth, we had a wonderful dinner, both us and our little ones. The goulash and the first courses are excellent too. Much appreciated!

22/02/2025: Attracted by the positive reviews we decided to have lunch in this characteristic restaurant in the center of Folgaria. Expectations were not disappointed, on the contrary! Generous and excellent portions, kindness of the staff and absolutely honest prices, we will definitely return to this beautiful restaurant! Highly recommended

24/12/2024: Nice restaurant with veranda overlooking the valley which really deserves a lot, excellent food and friendly staff, I don't give five stars only because the prices are a little too high in my opinion but above all because the price charged at the cash register does not respect, even slightly, the price of the open-air menu paper provided to us at the table.

07/01/2025: Beautiful Retreat with good service and good food. List of dishes, abundant and very positive note, photonic beer.
Whether you go there as skiers or walkers, you will always find a welcoming place for your stops.
Must try.
05/11/2024: After a relaxing walk we had lunch in this welcoming refuge. Excellent food (I recommend the pork chops and desserts). The room has a beautiful fireplace that warms the atmosphere.
Friendly and helpful staff despite the large number of customers present.
Outside the restaurant it is possible to enjoy the sun and the view.
In the garden there are 2 slides and a swing to entertain the little ones.
Recommended place.

I recommend this farm in Folgaria, slightly outside the town.
Bright, clean and welcoming room.
Possibility to have lunch outside too.
Very good food, excellent raw materials and generous portions
We tasted the delicious beef carpaccio with breaded and fried mushrooms and the spiced ribs in bbq sauce that were truly finger licking!!
We were too full for dessert!!
I would definitely stay here again.

07/01/2025: An employee or perhaps manager/owner yesterday thanked us out loud in front of the whole room for having entered the room to use the bathroom and having left with the clear intention of criticizing the fact of not having consumed anything. Too bad we are seasonal skiers and have breakfast and lunch here 2 times a week, sometimes even 15 people! The kind gentleman should be careful and recognize regular customers before humiliating in front of everyone in the room someone who had just had lunch and returned from another door. They can't see us here anymore!

26/01/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch.
The location is rustic and welcoming, shame about the very disappointing food.
Each dish lacked salt and flavor, which made it really difficult to appreciate its goodness. However, the proposal was rich, varied and respects local tradition. The service was a little slow but acceptable.
High price compared to the quality offered.
For such a beautiful place it's a shame not to find cuisine at the same level.
18/01/2025: Very nice particular environment all in wood, very good food. A few more smiles especially from one of the two women wouldn't hurt. However, a good restaurant worth recommending.

04/02/2025: Ga hier niet eten! Je moet als je binnenkomt moet reserveren voor je toetje voordat je je hoofdgerecht hebt besteld. Dit slaat helemaal nergens op. Als je restaurant vol zit en je hebt maar 7 toetjes staan dan heb je het niet voor elkaar. Als je uitlegt hoe het normaal werkt in een restaurant snappen ze je ineens niet meer. Zelfs de kok komt verhaal halen waarom je dit niet normaal vind.
Non mangiare qui! All'ingresso è necessario prenotare il dessert prima di ordinare la portata principale. Questo non ha assolutamente alcun senso. Se il tuo ristorante è pieno e hai solo 7 dessert, non lo stai facendo nel modo giusto. Quando spieghi come funzionano normalmente le cose in un ristorante, all'improvviso non ti capiscono più. Anche lo chef viene a spiegarti perché pensi che questo non sia normale.
22/01/2025: Ogni volta che veniamo in vacanza a Folgaria, non possiamo non iniziare le nostre vacanze al Ristorante Pizzeria La Lanterna a Costa. Ormai è una tappa fissa, alla quale non possiamo assolutamente rinunciare! In una bellissima location tipica montanara, il ristorante è a conduzione familiare e vi sentirete subito accolti e coccolati dalle bravissime, cordiali e simpatiche cameriere che vi consiglieranno nella scelta dei piatti, che sono tutti veramente squisiti, abbondanti e di ottima qualità! Ottima la lucanica alla griglia e da non perdere il tagliere con speck, formaggi, cappuccio e favoloso tortel di patate... ma i piatti sono tutti talmente buoni che c'è veramente l'imbarazzo della scelta!
Rapporto qualità/prezzo veramente ottimo, assolutamente il migliore in tutta la zona.
Che dire, provate e non ve ne pentirete!

In the center of Folgaria, a very elegant place where you can have an excellent aperitif, dinner and even an after-dinner drink.
In our case we stopped for dinner, where we discovered a chef who amazed us throughout the evening with truly unique dishes.
We entrusted ourselves to the chef for a tasting menu, where he took us into his culinary world.
22/01/2025: La Stua del John in Folgaria is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. From the warm welcome of the staff, who are courteous and knowledgeable, you immediately perceive the familiar and genuine atmosphere of the place. But the real love at first sight comes with the chef's cuisine.
Not only are the dishes exceptional, true works of art that satisfy the sight and palate, but the passion that the chef puts into his work is contagious. After a short chat with him, I understood that it's not just about cooking, but about conveying emotions through every ingredient, every aroma, every presentation.
His dedication can be perceived in every detail, from the choice of raw materials to the care in preparation. A culinary experience that goes beyond simply "eating well", a sensorial journey guided by a true culinary artist. Highly recommended!

15/02/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera a cena con amici abbiamo ordinato entrecote con cottura media e ci è arrivata una carne durissima da tagliare e mangiare, molto nervosa, immangiabile; abbiamo lamentato al cameriere la scarsa qualità del piatto e ci ha risposto che la carne è dura perché abbiamo richiesto la cottura media. Non si sono neanche scusati e anzi ci hanno incolpato per aver chiesto la cottura media. Esperienza pessima, non lo consigliamo! Lo staff avrebbe almeno dovuto venirci incontro con le parole visto il prezzo pagato!
11/02/2025: Me encanta este lugar. Limpio, amable y excelentes vinos. Personal muy amable, parada en la mayoría de las veces de vuelta de la pista para un vino o dos . . comimos allí una noche. Delicioso

"La Barba Casa" is a modern style pub with a wide selection of beers from the Barbaforte Brewery. We tried the IPA (very good!) and an excellent cooked toast and cheese to accompany the aperitif. Friendly and helpful staff. Advised!
03/11/2024: Very warm atmosphere, good welcome and helpful staff. Tasted some of their craft beers which I found to be of good quality. They offer about 16 different styles: 3 rotating taps and the rest in bottles/cans.
