We went for lunch as a family, including two very picky and picky older adults, and we all had a wonderful time: the place is welcoming and accessible even for those with mobility issues. We ate very well, from the potato croquette appetizer to the homemade first courses, which were truly excellent. The service was provided by young, kind, and attentive staff. An experience worth repeating: recommended!

Beautiful, welcoming place; exceptional food: the mountain cheese gnocchi with rabbit sauce are unmatched (as are the spaetzle with gorgonzola and walnut sauce, etc.), the meats are always tender and tasty, and the homemade desserts are delicious. The staff is extremely kind and the prices are absolutely fair.

Our first experience, to be completely honest, didn't go well due to an unfortunate lapse in service. However, after we pointed it out, we witnessed something rare: management that didn't bend over backwards, but listened with sincere humility. The apologies we received—profound, repeated, and absolutely genuine—touched us so deeply that we decided to give them a second chance. And we did just fine. The second time was simply perfect. The service was impeccable, attentive, and warm, without being intrusive. The cuisine deserves due recognition, too: it was truly delicious and authentic. We're delighted we trusted our instincts and the wonderful human impression the staff left on us. Taverna Clara doesn't just offer excellent food, it's also run by kind people who put customer satisfaction first. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
