07/08/2025: Visiting Hotel Freina every year since 2004. In winter for ski and in summer for mountain hikes. Always perfect. Location, rooms, food, staff-everything is superb.

04/08/2025: Another excellent stay at Hotel Freina! The family are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. A perfect summer holiday destination.

02/10/2025: Quickly stopped at Chalet Gerard for an espresso on our road trip and the view was breathtaking. Great coffee too! Strongly recommend.

30/09/2025: I came for the resturant - actually stopped there for a quick strudel, that turned into a culinary experience. Do-not miss it!!

15/07/2025: A modern structure with a classic style. We had some very good first courses. The view is beautiful. The outside area is especially beautiful, where you can relax on the deckchairs and loungers.

16/08/2025: Excellent dinner! We stumbled upon it by chance but immediately fell in love, so much so that we returned the next day. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. On the first day (a little heavy from the previous days), we ordered a salad. It was rich and tasty (not ordinary for a salad). On the second day, we opted for the burger with local meat, which was also excellent! We were also very tempted by the pizza, but unfortunately, we were already out of time. If we return to Selva, we will definitely return. Unparalleled value for money.

05/08/2025: Very disappointing service in all aspects, very high prices, decent food, we had a pizza, burnt, with buffalo mozzarella added for three euros, plus we had a decent salad not too good, we waited half an hour for two dishes that could have been done in 15 minutes, we also asked for a bottle of tap water and the waitress replied that she could not give it to us, so she gave us a bottle without a reusable seal, cost €4.20, a cost that not even sealed bottles have, The day before we went to the restaurant opposite where they gave us tap water without problems, plus there is a fountain a short distance from the restaurant that invites tourists to drink the mountain water, I do not recommend this place, plus the total for two dishes and a water plus the cover charge of €2.50 per person with only placemats and without bread was €40

24/09/2025: We were a bit hungry when we discovered this place thanks to TripAdvisor. It wasn't listed under restaurants on Google because it's labeled as a bar. However, the food is great here. We had a cheeseburger, and the paninis looked pretty good too. Really good value for money. One burger is more than enough, even if you're really hungry. The service was fast and very friendly. Overall, highly recommended.

18/09/2025: Exceptionally good apple strudel, as well as the Black Forest roll. The sweet treats can compete with any café. It's worth a visit!

25/08/2025: Hotel: very central, free indoor parking, and spacious rooms. Staff: everyone is friendly and helpful, both the owners and the staff, but what struck us most was Claudia's helpfulness, kindness, precision, and smile!! Congratulations! The owners, Stefano and Romana, are truly welcoming and always ready to accommodate all their guests' needs. The chef is one of a kind! The food is excellent, imaginative, and delicate. The dishes are always served with kindness and attention by Claudia (the best), Lolita, Larisa, Bledi, and Lucia. If I were to return to Selva, I would have no doubts about my choice: Hotel Armin!

25/07/2025: I stayed here for three nights on half-board. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner was always tasty and appetizing. The staff was helpful and courteous. It was a pleasure to feel welcomed into the family. The property is just steps from Piazza Nives. Pets are also welcome.

22/09/2025: We went for dinner yesterday! Good food next to the hockey rink! We had a pizza and the spinach mezza lune which is traditional in the region. We went without a table and they quickly showed us around. The entire service was very friendly except for one waiter who, despite giving us a correct treatment, was inferior to the rest. We will repeat!

16/09/2025: The Granbaita has become my new go-to: a complete property in every way, capable of standing out even from many of the 4- and 5-star hotels I regularly frequent. The staff deserves special mention: professional, friendly, and always available. The receptionists, in particular, welcome guests with a genuine smile and are attentive to every request. The restaurant is one of the hotel's strong points: the quality of the ingredients, the variety of the offerings, and the carefully curated buffets—both for breakfast and dinner—are of the highest standard. Every meal becomes an experience of taste and refinement. My suite was impeccable: modern, perfectly clean, soundproofed, and finished with quality materials. The extremely comfortable bed ensured a superior night's sleep, an aspect I consider essential. The internal garage with valet parking and luggage storage is also very convenient. Also interesting is the blackboard at the entrance that clearly lists the daily activities available to guests. The spa is simply extraordinary: well-maintained, always clean spaces, numerous saunas, a well-equipped gym, personalized massage options, and, above all, a large heated pool that makes for a truly unforgettable relaxation experience. Our stay at Granbaita was, in a word, perfect. We will undoubtedly return, confident of experiencing the same level of excellence.

26/06/2025: Due to the war that broke out in our country, all flights were canceled and we could not get to the hotel. Although the free cancellation period had ended, we contacted the hotel and asked them to consider the special situation and cancel or change the dates. They did not agree and 500 euros remained with them. We decided that if we did not enjoy it, then we would give it to someone else, and we did advertise on Facebook, and a couple who were stuck in Italy and could not return to Israel were happy to receive it as a gift. They said that they had enjoyed the hotel, but unfortunately people are measured in difficult moments. And the hotel did not know how to support and help us. Therefore, no matter how good the rooms and service are considered, we will not come and will not recommend it.

25/06/2025: Nice decorated Hotel. Rooms are new and clean. Shower is fine. Breakfast is good. BUT; Unfortunately and kind of strange; there is no airconditioning in the rooms, so it is quite warm/hot during the night. The air-quality, temperaturewise, is not so good in the Hotel overal. And it was not even hot outside while we where there. The service at the terrace is quite slow when you arrive. Our main goal was MTB, and that was a big succes.

04/08/2025: Dantercepies is easily accessible by cable car 🚠, from both Val Badia and Val Gardena. From Val Badia, it's also accessible on foot for the more energetic. Spacious restaurant. A wide selection on the menu featuring typical regional dishes. Reasonably priced. The meal is tasty, but not culinary masterpieces. Friendly and helpful staff. Restrooms are available. Free for guests. A single toilet visit costs €1.

31/07/2025: Nice restaurant once you go up cable car. The soup and chocolate cake was so delicious! Warm personal. Beautiful views.
