Great hotel, very pampering. The beds could have been better

Nice modern hotel. Both breakfast and dinner excellent.

We spent a week (March 24) in the Linder Cycling Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed these days. The room was very freshly decorated. With its own small sauna. The two restaurants deliver wonderful dishes. The breakfast adequate. Good location about 200/300m from the chairlift. Service and support were very accommodating and always friendly. I can really recommend this great hotel to everyone with a good heart. Again any time.

Super great hotel in the middle of Selva. Location approx. 200 m from the ski lift. Beautiful spa area with a large panoramic sauna. A great restaurant with 3 different culinary styles (Steak Stube, Luis Eatery & Bistro). Generous breakfast. All in all great! We will be back!

We were here at the beginning of March for a skiing holiday. It is a very nice hotel with a good location, beautiful views and great facilities. The hotel is very nicely decorated with plenty of options for a nice holiday. The ski slopes are close by (descents to the village) as well as the ski lifts - especially the Ciampinoi gondola lift. The rooms are fine. There are different rooms, see website. As expected, our room was not super large, but large enough. The room had a balcony and a view to the south / Ciampinoi gondola lift. The room was clean and cleaned every day. The bathroom was fine, a little more storage space would be useful. The breakfast is delicious, and the option to order certain things such as omelette / pancakes, etc. is especially great. All this in a beautiful room with a view. The swimming pool and wellness are great; Don't expect a huge swimming pool (see website photos), but it is large enough for a nice swim and to cool off. There are lovely sunbeds available at the pool and wellness area, where you can enjoy tea/soft drinks and some healthy snacks. The hotel has several restaurants and a bar, where there is plenty of room to sit during the day. It is advisable to make a reservation for dinner, as it can be quite busy on certain evenings, with guests from outside the hotel also coming to the restaurants. This also applies to other restaurants in the area, and the range of restaurants is not very large in the village. Outside is a beautiful terrace. The hotel has 2 charging points, which is useful since we had an electric car. And the underground parking is great. There is also a ski rental service, as well as a room with lockers for storing ski equipment. In general the staff is nice and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay, definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely consider going to Linder Cycling Hotel again!

We were amazed by the interior design of the Linder Hotel. Absolutely stunning. The rooms, the restaurants, the spa and the lockers. 10/10! One thing that bothered me though, are the beds. They were so hard, that I woke up everyday with an aching back and neck. This doesn't rhyme for me in a hotel that is in an outdoor/sports setting. The stay is not cheap so I expected really comfy beds. We also had 2 rather small one-person duvets instead of one big one to share. Anyway, this could be personal preference. Where I think the real improvement is for this hotel, and now I'm going to be critical because the potential is there to really score a 10/10 overall, is the staff. During our stay (February 2024, peak season) we had a lot of facetime with young staff. And despite their efforts, they really felt like 'season staff' doing their side job. I missed the details of hospitality what really make you feel welcome and serviced. Simple changes, great effect: 1. Walk people to their room and show them around. 2. Ask how their first night was and if the beds are okay. 3. Ask at breakfast if they would like coffee or anything from the kitchen. 4. Show interest and ask about their day on the slopes. 5. Wish them good travels to home during checkout, ask where they head to. Those are the very little things that will allow to build a relationship with your staff and your hotel. They make you feel so welcome. I really missed this and felt anonymous during my stay. We were in Selva before and another hotel did this so well. It's a shame the beds are not to our personal preference because I would love to go back one day to this hotel. But I also love my sleep, lol. If you reached the end of this review reading and considering a stay at Linder, definitely do so. It's wonderful. If you are manager or staff at Linder reading this, I hope I have inspired you with my feedback to show more attention to guests and boost the experience from an 8 towards a 10. All the best, Sam

I would give this hotel 5 stars, but the experience in the spa from some extremely aggressive guest(s) left us feeling very uncomfortable. On the 2nd March, one of the hotel guests in the spa started insisting that myself (male) and a female guest shouldn’t be wearing swim-wear. He wouldn’t let the issue go and became extremely rude. There are signs on the door that swim wear is prohibited (which is btw strange, and should be explained to guests before booking, that they will encounter this nudist spa). However - we were even more disturbed as there were young children in the spa (in the sauna). It may be that they are not allowed in, but if the hotel wants to enforce and publicise a no swim wear rule, they should first make sure there are no young kids in the spa (and sauna itself). I would advise the hotel to prewarn people booking the hotel, especially families of this environment, as we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable. No doubt there was a cultural bias through the invidiual who was so aggressive (but the hotel isn’t at fault for this). The hotel itself is very good, the staff are friendly, it’s well located, modern, good breakfast and a few nice restaurants which are worth visiting in themselves.

Some of the best food we’ve eaten in the world! Seriously. Our waiter was exceptional. The food was exquisite. Have to return to Selva just to come back to eat here! In a week road tripping and exploring the best of the dolomites, finishing with an overnight in Venice, this was by far our favourite food! Big statement as we were staying in the Granbaita whilst in selva. We had the most amazing food all over, in ortesei, cortina d’ampezzo, even Venice. But this was the highlight! Must visit!

Ate twice at Luis Eatery over Xmas and early January - great menu - amazing food and service. From the appetizer through to desert - everything was tasty and beautifully presented
