08/06/2025: I've been coming to the Steinerhof in Pfelders since 2003 and, after a long break, I've returned with a friend. The entire Hofer family is characterized by their warmth and hospitality. Even after nine years, it feels like "coming home." The apartments are spacious and have great balconies for enjoying the beautiful view. The biggest highlight is the rides with the fantastic Haflinger horses, lovingly trained by Alberich and his daughters. Thanks to the attentive guidance of the family members, we quickly gained confidence on horseback in the challenging terrain of Pfelders. The family's farm tavern is also highly recommended. Katy prepares delicious dishes using regional and home-grown products. You once again made our stay something special - thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you again soon.😊

11/03/2025: Il ristorante si trova in centro al piccolo paese di Plan in val Passiria. È molto accogliente e arredato in stile rustico, tutto in legno. Il personale molto gentile. I piatti tipici sono gustosi e abbondanti e a base di prodotti a km 0. Le carni provengono dall'allevamento di famiglia. La cuoca Katy è molto brava ad usare gli ingredienti per i piatti tipici! Ottimi i dolci. Per finire il proprietario signor Alberich propone l'assaggio delle sue grappe a base di erbe e radici autoprodotte, vere medicine, naturalmente senza esagerare. Consigliato a chi ama i piatti rustici.

23/02/2025: Ci sono stata oggi a pranzo. Locale accogliente con personale gentile e cortese. Preso le tagliatelle ai funghi, molto buone ad un giusto prezzo € 9,50. Se passerò di là, mi fermerò ancora magari x un buon tagliere.

10/06/2025: A short trip to Folgaria on the way home after a short stay in Lavarone. We stopped for lunch. Slightly off the main road but with clearly visible signs, it struck us precisely because it is there in a slightly quieter location. Outside there are a few tables outdoors but inside there are plenty of seats. We stayed outside because the temperatures were ideal. We had a pizza and a puccia. The puccia was delicious, excellent dough cooked well, nice crunch. The filling was also excellent. The pizza was good, dough well cooked, thin but not burnt especially the edge. The internal environment was tidy and clean, even the bathrooms. Overall a nice, simple place but where I would return without any problems.

05/06/2025: The food is good, we took 2 pizzas and they were correct, although they brought a knife that didn't cut. On the other hand, I want to highlight the messiness of the waiters, we were made to wait 15 minutes to be seated when there were empty tables, they took a long time to bring us the food, the menus... everyone was sweaty and stressed, and we couldn't ask them for anything.... I honestly don't think I would recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2024: Great location, brilliant hiking trail from the valley. Then the Kaiserschmarren at the top of the hut. Awesome.

16/08/2024: A place where pure hospitality and friendliness still exists. We are so happy that we accidentally ended up at the Sesselschwaige. What warm and sweet people Elmar and Lydia are. From moment 1 we and our children felt welcome. Delicious food, which was largely prepared according to traditional methods. In short, a true pearl in South Tyrol!

07/04/2025: I can't rate food. Since nothing was ordered to eat😉 But…. Campari/Aperol Spritz, very, very tasty. There is nothing to complain about in terms of price. Enjoy the last rays of sunshine. Nice people around you. What more could you want 😎

18/06/2025: Great place to stop towards the end of hiking the Sassolungo loop. Don’t miss the high tech toilets. Beautiful views of Sella mountains with Sassolungo mountains behind. Enjoy the slide next to the hut! Very fun. Note that the kitchen isn’t open all day.

16/06/2025: After standing at the "entrance" with our infant for several minutes, we were asked if we just wanted a drink or something to eat. We wanted to eat. The "manager" would come over right away and seat us. After waiting five minutes and having 20 employees walk past us without even looking at us, we left. On top of that, the prices were outrageous for such poor and unfriendly "service" (soup 14 euros).

08/03/2025: Una baita bellissima lungo la pista che scende dal Seceda a Ortisei, al sole ma in mezzo al bosco; una cucina ricca, con tanti piatti squisiti (uova speck e patate e spatzle tra tutti); un servizio super veloce e cortese; un listino prezzi inferiore ad altre baite della zona; un’atmosfera vivace nel pomeriggio. Serve dire altro? Consigliatissima!

31/01/2025: Ogni volta che vengo a Ortisei, tappa obbligata. Questa volta tanta nel bosco, un paesaggio bellissimo per raggiungere la baita… Questo posto è bellissimo estate e inverno. Ogni volta un’occasione perfetta per un dolce o per un pranzo. Servizio ottimo e veloce. Location perfetta per rilassarsi fuori sugli sdrai al sole o in baita. Cibo ottimo e i proprietari tutti TOP. Prezzi assolutamente in linea alla qualità dell’offerta.

17/02/2025: Baita ristorante posizionato nella splendida piana della Val Duron. Buona accoglienza e personale gentile. Locali ristrutturati molto bene e puliti. Zuppa d'orzo buonissima, prezzi nella media. Per apprezzare a pieno la location spettacolare merita salire a piedi, in inverno meglio avere al seguito i ramponcini

05/02/2025: Ho ordinato la polenta con il cervo e mi hanno portato una polenta slavata di quelle precotte e pronte in cinque minuti e la porzione di cervo era scarsa e la carne dura.

20/02/2025: Wide choice of pastries and desserts. I ate a fabulous carrot cake, my husband a fabulous cream Venetian. Top cappuccinos, creamy milk and good coffee. If we return to Pergine, we will definitely return to this pastry shop.

15/01/2025: Very good pastry shop, excellent opportunity to sit at the tables outside in the warmer months. The only flaw is the service linked to this option: several times, in spring, I had to wait 10 minutes just to order, with the place half empty and 2 external tables occupied..
