21/09/2025: A "luxury" mountain hut, both for the price and the services offered. A family-friendly place, both for the surrounding trails and woods and the meadows surrounding the hut. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very clean. Excellent dinner and breakfast. I also note the owners' willingness to lock up their two male dogs when we needed to go out with our dog.

27/07/2025: Functional for a few days, but the rooms need updating. Just a few weeks before our vacation, my partner and I were looking for affordable accommodation near Riva. The Hotel Rudy is located about 2 kilometers north of the city center. We walked there almost every evening to enjoy a (really delicious) meal. When we arrived, we tried to check in about two hours before the stated check-in time. The friendly staff member made sure our room was cleaned with priority, and we only had to wait half an hour. Our room on the second floor was easily accessible by both the elevator and the (fairly narrow) stairs. The door was a bit awkward to open, and the room key was very old-school (no card or anything like that) and clunky. The room opened onto two balconies, from which we had a direct view of the main street. One room had two seats and a small table, but unfortunately, due to the very bad weather for the end of July, we couldn't make use of them. The furnishings and fittings are a bit dated and very worn. The bathroom, especially the shower, is very small and difficult to use even for slim people. The bathroom door (see photo) had disgusting stains, and I didn't even want to know where they came from. The beds were quite deep, but functional. The biggest drawback for us was actually the very thin and thin walls. Combined with "great" neighbors who don't know how to sleep well at night, last night was a complete nightmare. The street noise is also quite loud; if you're sensitive to this, you should ask for another room. We visited the pool twice. It's beautifully quiet, large enough for cooling off, and offers sunbathing space for around 25 hotel guests. If the weather is good and you don't necessarily want to swim laps, it's perfectly adequate. The breakfast was delicious throughout our entire vacation, the selection was absolutely sufficient, and there was always something to suit everyone. I think everyone will find something to their liking here. We didn't use the hotel restaurant during our stay. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short trip to Lake Garda (with a few reservations). However, there are certainly more modern options available at a comparable price.

18/07/2025: Very friendly staff 👍 Cozy pool area Great breakfast. We stayed there for 7 days. It's a 5-minute bike ride to the center of Riva del Garda. The only downside is the bathroom, which was unfortunately too small.

28/09/2025: Peter and David, two originals, make you forget the everyday. A quaint wine bar, tucked away in a back courtyard on Rennweg. A must-stop. The wine advice and the wines are top-notch, the snacks to accompany the wine are delicious. The music will make you dream of times gone by, and to top it off: our Giant Schnauzer, Digger, is never left out 😊

04/12/2025: Neat and clean room, excellent location just steps from the historic center and the Christmas markets, conveniently located near public transportation, covered parking nearby, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

25/10/2025: The cleanliness of the rooms (especially the bathrooms) is questionable. Otherwise, a solid hotel close to the center.

02/02/2026: Visited on spec and luckily got seated thanks to a cancellation. This proved to be a great success as the whole meal, including service was first class.

23/08/2025: During our vacation in Tesero, we discovered this pub almost by accident, and it quickly became a favorite spot for our evenings. The atmosphere is authentic, where the friendly staff makes all the difference: always smiling, helpful, and ready to recommend the perfect beer or sandwich for every taste. The menu is surprisingly varied: excellent craft beers and a selection of generous, well-prepared sandwiches, made with fresh, quality ingredients. The ambiance also contributes to the pleasant experience, with a thoughtfully designed interior and an outdoor area perfect for summer evenings. An added bonus are the events: we attended a live evening dedicated to 883, which made the atmosphere even more engaging and fun. In short, this pub is not just a place to eat and drink well, but a place where you truly feel at home. If you find yourself in Tesero, I highly recommend it: a perfect blend of quality, friendliness, and fun.

I'd like to extend a special thank you for the attention paid to guests with special dietary needs, especially the gluten-free menu. As a celiac, traveling can often be challenging, but here I felt truly at ease and welcomed. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, carefully explaining the menu options and ensuring each dish was safe and tasty. The variety of gluten-free options was surprising, and the quality of the food was truly excellent. It's rare to find establishments that put so much care and professionalism into accommodating these needs. A special thank you goes to Andrea, Salvatore, and all the staff, always kind, helpful, and smiling. Beyond their professionalism, I truly appreciated their friendliness and the fun, friendly way they put guests at ease: small moments of lightheartedness that make the stay even more enjoyable. 08/03/2026: I often get takeout here. Friendly and punctual. Very good, tasty, and light dishes. I recommend the chicken curry with coconut milk—the way they make it is amazing!
