03/05/2025: The initial skepticism because of the very clear menu (only 1 page) was proven wrong after the first bite at the latest. The beetroot risotto with cream cheese and bacon was an absolute poem. The bacon in wafer-thin, crispy slices gave the whole thing a wonderfully hearty aroma and the dollops of creamy cream cheese literally "melted" into the rest of the dish. The service was very nice and attentive. The furnishings are quite sophisticated. Only the music was a bit too loud for my taste, but that's just to mention something "not positive" ;-).

07/10/2024: 1450 m di altezza, attaccato alla miniera e al suo museo, i Bel panorama sulle montagne ed è molto curato l’interno, mangiato un ottimotris di canederli , carpaccio forse era un po’ troppo elaborato ed era meglio presentarlo senza pomodori e melanzane in purezza, il kaiserschmarrn molto abbondante e molto buono, servito con la composta di mele anche se forse con le prugne sarebbe più adeguato. Ottima Gasthof di montagna. Consiglio

11/09/2024: che finalmente serve i veri piatti della cucina tirolese, senza troppe modifiche e fronzoli inutili, tanto che sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo. Porzioni abbondanti, servizio rapido, prezzi medi. Molto consigliato.

01/04/2025: I bought a couple of ribs at the BBQ EXPO fair in Brescia and cooked them tonight. Definitely tasty, they don't look out of place with much more famous meats. Excellent quality/price ratio. Courtesy and competence in the service.

22/05/2025: Bestes Restaurant in Riva del Garda, angefangen von der Reservierung, dem Empfang sowie dem Service und der wirklich guten Küche. Wir haben außerordentlich gut gegessen und können das Restaurant mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

20/05/2025: Piatti semplici ma lavorati con acume e ancorati ai sapori genuini. Una scoperta per me la trota salmonata a filetto. Ragout d’anatra bianco sopraffino. Rombo ben lavorato e adatto per diete low carb. Tiramisù con pan di Spagna e con mascarpone ben lavorato. Carta dei vini meno di 100 etichette ma tutte ben scelte. Altra perla, parcheggio riservato. Limoncello di cortesia gradevole e lontano dai limoncelli industriali comuni. Insomma una scelta ottimale, spero non si discostino negli anni a venire. Da riprovare e da consigliare

01/02/2025: Lo Chef, che ho molto apprezzato, presente sia in cucina che ai tavoli comunica con passione, studio ed impegno piatti innovativi del territorio, perfettamente equilibrati ed elaborati, con la consapevolezza di ciò che cucina. Gli occhi mangiano prima ma è nella bocca che il gusto vince. Fantastica esperienza culinaria, imperdibile per gli amanti della cucina di alto livello.

01/03/2025: Serata a tema pasta on the rock. Mangiato da Dio! Lo chef è molto bravo e il personale di sala molto carino e gentile. Devo dire che la salita con il buio con la motoslitta e stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Tutto molto bello.

19/02/2025: Il pranzo in questo rifugio vale assolutamente la camminata in discreta pendenza da affrontare. Cibo di qualita' preparato e presentato con cura molto soddisfacente al palato. Inoltre la vista di San Candido dalla posizione del rifugio e' un motivo in piu per andarci.

26/02/2025: I was extremely satisfied with my recent visit to the "Il Grillo" restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The restaurant is tastefully furnished, creating a relaxing and pleasant environment. The food was simply delicious. I was struck by the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of the chefs. Every bite was an explosion of flavours. My dinner companions also raved about their dishes. The staff were exceptional. Everyone was particularly kind and attentive to our needs, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend the restaurant "Il Grillo" to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience.

20/05/2025: Very good, but if it were spicy as written on the menu, it would be better, because someone who goes to eat Asian cuisine, is supposed to go, because he likes this type of cuisine, and is probably informed about the spiciness of the dishes, then if on the menu you find the writing (spicy) and in the dish you order you find European spicy, well .. then it is not Asian spicy. After all, everything is really very good. Dear Asian restaurateurs, do not conform to Europe, Indian cuisine, Asian cuisine, Turkish cuisine, are known for their spiciness, and for this we value you and often and willingly come to you to eat

21/03/2025: Family-run hotel. We felt absolutely at home and had a great rest. You feel like a welcome guest here. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food is sensational! Your culinary well-being is catered for with passion and great attention to detail. The chef deserves a star. The only thing that wasn't ideal for us were the mattresses, which were too soft. But we sleep on futons, so that's not a benchmark. 95% wouldn't be able to cope with our level of firmness. Next time, we'll bring our futon. 😉

14/03/2025: Unico, pazzesco; solo l'amore per la propria terra può portare ad un menù degustazione che ti trascina nel bosco. Una vera esperienza sensoriale. Il personale di sala è molto preparato, professionale e cordiale. La location vale essa stessa il prezzo della cena.

01/06/2025: A superbly rustic wine tavern, where Mali herself still cooks. A breathtaking view of South Tyrol—I've never seen anything like it. There's a small food selection where everyone is sure to find something they like. The Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) are among the best I've ever eaten; every bite is a delight. We'll definitely be back and stay there again.

13/05/2025: The food was delicious and the service cordial – unfortunately, the lack of a menu significantly dampens the overall impression. When comparing the price list with other reviews, we realized that we paid about €20 too much for our order (2 Schlutzer sausages, 1 coleslaw, 1 small Straube, 1 small portion of Apfelküchle, 1 elderberry, 1 apple juice) at €64. This seems arbitrary and lacking in transparency – a real shame given an otherwise pleasant experience.
