Everything in Gasthof Kohlern invites you to slowly appreciate the beauty of life: the natural environment, with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains; the cuisine, with delicious and refined dishes, the wines, the breakfasts; the simple elegance of the rooms; the peace and quiet; and last but not least, the generous and considerate kindness of the staff. 19/10/2025: A very nice little restaurant on the mountain not far from Torbole. The view of Lake Garda and Torbole from the terrace is magnificent! You can dine outside or inside. A rustic ambiance in vaulted rooms, friendly service, and delicious food. We loved it and would happily recommend this little restaurant!

22/11/2025: A true gem in Riva del Garda! Pizza Stop is not just a pizzeria, but a full-fledged restaurant with an incredible selection of homemade Italian dishes. We returned several times and each time tried something different—everything was fresh, authentic, and prepared with passion. You can feel not only the atmosphere of northern Italy here, but also the Sicilian spirit in its many flavors and aromas. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the food… simply first-class. If you want to experience authentic Italian cuisine at its finest, you absolutely must visit this place!

02/11/2025: A very popular, upscale Italian restaurant. To get a window seat with a lake view, you should arrive early. Otherwise, a reservation is necessary. The menu is also available in German. Very good wines by the glass. Creative cuisine, not the usual fare you find elsewhere. Friendly service. Special requests, like a small salad not on the menu, are no problem. Large pizzas with very generous toppings. The quality of the ingredients could be better, but the price-performance ratio is very good. Delicious. No pepper mill. Vinegar and oil are mediocre. €2.60 cover charge per person is ambitious. Recommended.

09/09/2025: What can I say? I'd go back a thousand times. It's a super welcoming and family-friendly place, excellent value for money. I definitely recommend trying the traditional dishes. One dinner was enough for me to fall in love with your waitress, haha—she's beautiful, witty, and professional.

06/11/2025: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant. The ambiance is truly beautiful, with features like old wooden beams under the ceiling and arched doorways—very attractive and impeccably maintained. I first ate here about three months ago. Among other things, I had the young bull tartare. It was so fantastic that we knew we had to return. I don't know what happened, but this time it tasted completely different. Tartare doesn't necessarily need to be heavily seasoned to taste good. It's quite similar to steak and should ideally be air-dried/aged to develop a wonderful natural flavor. As I said, that was the case last time, but this time the fresh meat was just ground! For that, the price of around €30 for an appetizer is unfortunately too steep. Our other main courses were also wonderfully fresh, but the seasoning could have been improved.

THERE IS AN ALMOST FAMILY ATMOSPHERE, BUT ALWAYS WITH THE APPROPRIATE RESPECT. DEFINITELY REPEATED, PERHAPS ON WARMER DAYS, SO YOU CAN ENJOY EXPERIENCES LIKE THE BATH IN THE TUB AND THE HAY BED WITH MORE PEACE OF MIND.
