08/03/2025: Phenomenal pizza, I have never eaten such a good one in my life. The boss and master of ceremonies, flawless and a showman. The lady serving us was lovely. Together they make a great team. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, with elements of history, not only Italian. Before going to the pizzeria, don't forget to make a reservation on Google. I highly recommend it. Low bows to the Boss and Boss Lady. You are divine!!! 🤣

Very nice and spacious room, also the restaurant area is very characteristic and excellent food is served. The wellness area is also very nice. We will definitely be back! 30/03/2025: Bellissimo posto 🤩 ma siamo rimasti delusi..l'idea era quella di pranzare, ma senza che nessuno ce lo specificasse abbiamo preso menù del giorno, ma invece di un primo piatto, com'era ns intenzione visto anche il prezzo 16,00€ cadauno, era un semplice antipasto.. 🙈 no comment.. 🤬 credo che qdo ordini ed ordini solo quello, sarebbe meglio ti chiarissero che é un antipasto e non un primo/secondo piatto, così uno fa i suoi conti, soprattutto qdo non è scritto nel menù..
30/03/2025: Facile da raggiungere. Il locale è originale e piacevole. I menù - piatti sembrano interessanti. La nostra esperienza negativa come rapporto qualità prezzo. Ordinato pasta al pomodoro per la bambina buona e corretto il prezzo. Per noi polpette di Cavedano buone ma niente di che. Non ci è stato detto che si trattava di antipasto anche perché per 16 € a portata (una a testa) non ci aspettavamo quattro mini polpette senza contorno. Ottimo il calice di Muller e il pane con crostini. Nel complesso speso 58 € che riteniamo spropositati per il ben scarso pranzo. Da non ripetere!

22/02/2025: Ho preso il gusto biscotto e aveva un pessimo sapore, non sono riuscito a finirlo e l’ho dovuto buttare… a parer mio qualcosa di avariato nel cioccolato . Forse d’estate è migliore peccato

I tasted their carbonara and it was a revelation. The enveloping creaminess, the perfect balance between high quality ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation made every bite a small masterpiece of taste. The pasta, cooked to perfection, enhanced the flavor and richness of the sauce without being heavy. It is rare to find such a well-executed carbonara, especially in a mountain refuge, and this demonstrates the very high level of Meriz cuisine. In addition to the food, the environment is an element that makes this place unique. The warmth of the wood, the large fireplace that creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, the discreet elegance of the furnishings: everything contributes to making guests feel welcomed and pampered. The service is impeccable, with attentive, friendly staff always ready to advise with a smile. And then there is the panoramic terrace, a real spectacle: sitting in the sun with an excellent dish and gazing across the mountains is a priceless experience. The Meriz Refuge is not just a refreshment point for skiers and hikers, but a true destination for those seeking an authentic and quality food and wine experience. Here you can perceive the passion for cooking and the attention to every detail, from the welcome to the presentation of the dishes. It is one of those places that are not easily forgotten, because it knows how to leave a memory made of flavours, emotions and enchanting landscapes. Without a doubt, a place where I will return with great pleasure.

Managed with passion by the Benini family since the end of the nineteenth century, today Giorgio is at the helm together with his wife Dolores and daughters Annalisa and Gabriella, guaranteeing an authentic and familiar culinary experience. The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the carne salada, offered both raw and cooked on a wood-fired griddle. This typical dish, prepared according to tradition, has conquered the palates of many customers. One enthusiastic customer described the carne salada as "spectacular," also praising the house-made giardiniera and the friendly service that makes you feel at home. Another specialty not to be missed is peverada, a typical soup that reflects the authenticity of the local cuisine. To conclude on a sweet note, Nonna Lisa's apple pie represents tradition and love for old-time recipes, offering an authentic and homemade flavour. The environment of the restaurant is characterized by small rooms furnished in wood, terracotta floors and details that recall the mountain tradition, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere.
