07/05/2026: Beautiful country hotel at the foot of the village of Montefollonico. Just a short distance from Pienza and Montepulciano. Spacious, carefully furnished rooms. Excellent restaurant and beautiful pool. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany. We also had a fun cooking class on traditional Pici.
18/04/2026: It's "my" restaurant for special occasions. Even though I go there often, I still can't find a single flaw. Must try.

19/05/2026: We had the pleasure to celebrate our wedding at this spectacular venue. It was everything that we ever wanted. The views are magnificent, the food is rustic, of the highest quality, and made with love. But above all, what made it so special was the warmth and joy with which everyone at the staff at Belagaggio treated us. It felt like being welcomed in to a family. We would highly recommend a stay here!
12/05/2026: We had our wedding here and every guest raves about their room, the service, the breakfast, and exceptional staff. Giorgio, Marta and the crew made for a wonderful stay and wedding. We felt well cared for during our time. The grounds and facilities are also incredibly well kept with occasional renovations, so some apartments like the Margherita were very modern. The food was also amazing and clearly prepared with local ingredients and care. I would recommend this place for your event or even a stay. We will be back!

26/04/2026: A PLEASANT DISCOVERY!
We came to this restaurant for dinner almost by chance, but it was a delightful discovery. The owner welcomed us warmly and kindly, making us feel at home. He took care of every detail.
The food was excellent and rich in flavor. Special thanks to chef James, who even sat down to chat with us, making the experience even more enjoyable.
We hope that in the future his origins will be increasingly reflected in his dishes, perhaps with an interesting mix of Tuscan, Spanish, and English influences. It would be a great addition to an already delicious cuisine!
Highly recommended for those seeking quality, hospitality, and an authentic atmosphere.

26/05/2026: It was an exceptional experience and we were very much delighted having been your guests. The first class, in every aspect, experience started already upon arrival when we asked if we could our car where it was. All the staff was super friendly, sympathetic and comforting. But of course we came for the food, and the greatness had ended here. We went for the Breva tasting menu and it was absolutely delightful. Each course was presented, prepared and explained in the best possible way, accompanied by a super friendly Sommelier.
From A to Z it was an outstanding experience and we surely return as guests as soon as possible.
22/05/2026: Staff here is exceptional as is the food, atmosphere and view. Highly recommend for an exceptional upscale experience with reasonable pricing.

03/08/2025: Su especialidad es Tagliatelle que se baña en un trozo circular de pecorino. Deliciosa comida y espacio cubierto al aire libre.
05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4.
El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo.
Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos.
Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

01/06/2025: Da wir am Nachmittag essen wollten, fanden wir endlich dieses Lokal. Insgesamt war es gut, die Selbstanpreisung der Familie erfüllte die Ankündigung nicht. Nach einer Woche Toskana ist der Bogen des Angebotes erschöpft. Freundlich und schön im Garten zu sitzen. Da ist es egal, wie lange es dauert…

01/01/2025: Ero stata a cena in questo ristorante un paio di volte mangiando sempre bene soprattutto i piatti di pesce quindi quando ho visto il menù per l'ultimo dell'anno non ho esitato a prenotare. Purtroppo la cena si è rivelata pessima, piatti insapore, pasta scotta, pici che dovevano essere in crema di finocchi e cozze serviti senza alcun condimento e papposi, dolce ridicolo un bicchiere di crema, che sinceramente era fatta anche bene, servita con un mini triangolo di pandoro, in pratica un bicchiere di crema da mangiare senza niente, ovviamente impossibile e stucchevole. Ok, il prezzo della cena era contenuto ma questo non è un buon motivo per cucinare male. Inoltre il locale era freddo e c'era corrente d'aria, capirete che la sera di S. Silvestro le signore con gli abiti da sera hanno sofferto il freddo tutta la sera.
Che peccato!
13/11/2024: Il locale dispone di una terrazza panoramica. L’interno è un po’ anonimo e scarno. Menu vario e interessante, servizio accurato e cordiale. Ottimi i pigi al ragù bianco e il tortino di zucca. Pessima la tagliata al pepe verde, fredda e dura, immangiabile. È stata però tolta dal conto. Insufficiente il tiramisù.

04/01/2025: Carne di qualità. il filetto alle macine era ottimo (servito con rucola e salsa tartufata). Buona anche la bistecca (abbondante) e la tagliata. Dolci nella media. Prezzi buoni.
Locale molto molto bello, caratteristico ed immerso nella natura. Consigliato

01/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso durante il nostro ritorno a casa, senza leggere le recensioni ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa.
Tagliatelle porri, salsiccia e zafferano, pici cacio e pepe, entrambe buonissimi e con porzioni generose.
Dovendoci rimettere in viaggio non abbiamo preso altro e bevuto solo acqua, ma al tavolo vicino hanno preso due antipasti, che sembravano molto buoni e anche quelli in porzioni divisibili fra più commensali.
Ci torneremo altre volte con amici.
