27/12/2024: Lovely simple restaurant. We enjoyed the antipasti: egg with truffle and the bean salad very good. Our child (a picky eater) found some foods she liked. The chips were good quality, homemade. The carpaccio was excellent. One man ran the entire front house and we missed a small number of insignificant items. If the balcony becomes full you may find the dining cramped. We left happy for the price and friendly visit.

07/01/2025: Space. We ended up here by chance: the sweetness and helpfulness of the owners made us fall in love. Welcoming environment, with attention to the smallest details. The dishes are absolutely delicious, fantastic pici with wild boar with an extra touch (to be discovered). For the second course we chose some vegetables: absolutely fabulous, from their garden; the chef cooks them in a surprising way. Selection of castle wines. In short, we would never go away again. Highly recommended from all points of view.

23/12/2024: La Bottega la frequento da anni.. Parto da Roma un paio di volte l'anno per farmi rapire prima di tutto della location. Volpaia e' a mio parere uno dei piu bei posti della toscana. Un borgo che vi lascerà senza parole...visitandolo sarete rapiti dai profumi che provengono dalla cucina della Bottega... potrete mangiare cose straordinarie vi giuro.. in un giardino delizioso dove al tramonto oltre che gustare piatti tipici toscani.. potrete vedere le colline del chianti che si arrossiscono fino a che il sole non muore. La cucina non tradisce mai.. e si puo vedere l'orto... dove proprietaria e mamma da anni coltivano prodotti che finiscono direttamente nei piatti... Io due volte l'anno vado perche li e un paradiso per il palato e per la vista.. Credetemi... La sorella della proprietaria nella piazzetta difronte ha un bar.. il Bar Ucci.. dove serve aperitivi con prodotti di altissima qualita...da perdere a testa.. Se mai un giorno mi sposassi dico da anni che Volpaia e la Bottega accoglierebbero i miei invitati.. Un forte abbraccio alle proprietarie alla loro gentilezza.. umorismo e bravura in cucina...Dieci e lode

19/01/2025: We were there for lunch and had a starter and 1 first course each, what we tasted was truly excellent, the service was attentive and kind. The room is not very large, better to call first. And if I'm in the area again I'll be back

06/01/2025: Molto interessante da Porciatti, qualità molto buona però in un enoteca far pagare Oltre alla bottiglia 6 € per averla aperta al tavolo la trovo una forzatura e non lo condivido

05/01/2025: Peccato non riusciremo ad andarci per cena. Enoteca con ampia scelta di etichette consumabili in loco con una maggiorazione di 6 euro. Buona scelta di piatti. Prezzi in linea. Una buona sosta!

23/11/2024: My wife and I brought our 4 month old baby to Tuscany for 3 weeks, and we stayed just down the street in Radda. We visited Monica and David here for dinner 5 times during our stay because we loved it so much! The food is authentic and family run for multiple generations. They were extremely accommodating to us and our baby whenever we showed up. Make sure to make a reservation! We will have fond memories of our time at Bottega for years to come, could not recommend more highly!

28/12/2024: Excellent and friendly service, excellent food and overall service. Makes a kid's portion of pizza even though it's not on the menu. At first glance, the interior of the restaurant does not make the same impression as other restaurants in the center of Radda, but it offers better services. Great homemade limoncello and meloncello is the icing on the cake.

16/11/2024: Terrible. Absolutely terrible pizza. I honestly thought that they had a 'bad dough day', as I saw all the plates with unfinished pizzas go back to the kitchen, with the 'doggie bag' option requested (probably out of politeness or pity). But then looked at some of the pictures on google, and they all looked the same. The dough was dry, brittle and for the most part burnt. It had no taste. I am very surprised my the high rating of this place. I really hope they need to get their act together, because what I had tonight was a joke. Atmosphere, and service are ok, but I cannot give more than 1 star because the pizza was just embarrassing.

27/09/2024: Super schönes Lokal, sowohl der Innenhof als auch indoor. Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Hier scheint jeder gut gelaunt zu sein. Die Weine sind köstlich ebenso wie das Essen. Die Desserts sind ein weiteres Highlight und haben wir so in der Toskana noch nicht gesehen.

21/07/2024: Locale molto intimo, accogliente e cibo buonissimo. Lo consiglio perché la carne la prendono direttamente dalla macelleria e si sente che è fresca e ottima. Prezzi molto onesti. Complimenti.

19/12/2024: Ottima enoteca con cucina a Radda in Chianti, ci eravamo stati anni fa e ci eravamo ripromessi di tornarci alla prima occasione utile perchè i piatti sono fantastici e ci eravamo anche trovati benissimo con i proprietari Aldo e Francesca. Non posso che confermare la mia impressione di allora, ottima cucina tradizionale e ottimo locale intimo, curato e caldo dall'atmosfera familiare. Assolutamente da non perdere se vi trovate nella zona.

05/11/2024: Un buonissimo ristorante,un buon menu’ peccato per la mancanza di tartufo , avevamo visto appunto il menu’ per il tartufo.. comunque ottimi primi.

14/07/2024: Bellissima esperienza! Avevamo prenotato la fiorentina il giorno prima e ci ha portato la meraviglia in foto. Subito per metterci a nostro agio ci Leo ci ha portato taglieri e prosecchino di benvenuto. Servizio eccellente, il proprietario un tipico toscano spettacolare. A fine pasto ci ha deliziati con il favo a centro tavola da cui abbiamo attinto più che volentieri. CONTO IRRISORIO per il trattamento ricevuto e per tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Torneremo sicuramente!!

22/10/2024: For French tourists, I do not advise you to take the lasagna because it is really not worth it. They are not well presented, a little lukewarm and not even really good. I recommend pasta like “con Ragù Toscano”. Otherwise the service is good and the atmosphere too. Just for good Italian lasagna, we were definitely on it!

02/10/2024: Visited for a late lunch, nice small Ristorante with friendly staff and an interesting menu with lots of home made dishes. The Ravioli was very good, as was the lasagne, reasonably priced too.

08/12/2024: We arrived around 9.30pm, they waited for us and we were welcomed with an unscheduled dinner which was delicious!! Basic but frozen room, we asked for an extra blanket but the room was really cold! Too bad the view of the room did not overlook the valley. Simple but good breakfast, place surrounded by wonderful nature and super quiet!

30/11/2024: Inn in the Chianti valley. If you want to live a few days in complete tranquility, it is the ideal location. The food was delicious and well looked after. The owners are welcoming and kind. Highly recommended!!!

09/01/2025: We absolutely loved our time on property. Food, wine, and options/excursions were amazing. We enjoyed harvesting olives w Marco and tasting fresh saffron, a cooking class w Vincenzo, and wine tasting. Walking the property was like walking in heaven - beauty around every corner. Everything was exquisite. We did have a snag with an order, but when we got in touch with the correct department, it was handled beautifully and respectfully. We will continue to order from Borgo even being back in US, but we would love to return even more. Truly a highlight of our time in Italy.

18/11/2024: Location was strikingly beautiful in the Tuscan hills. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the food was amazing, and we enjoyed experiences like truffle hunting and renting a Vespa. It was also just really nice to sit around the grounds and relax. Thank you to the Borgo for an amazing vacation!!!
