29/03/2026: A welcoming, bright trattoria with excellent cuisine.
The food is very good, with special mention for the tagliolini with beans (superlative) and the stuffed mussels.
Excellent service.
The only flaw, if it can be called that, is the service is too fast.
I recommend allowing more time between courses to fully enjoy each dish.
Highly recommended trattoria...
22/03/2026: Such low ratings because I had very high expectations and it didn't satisfy me at all.
The tradition is there, but the food was all bland.
The only good dish was the lasagna with meat sauce.
One of the waitresses was initially rude, rushing us to order.
Too bad... I expected better.

14/04/2026: My husband and I went there and had a truly wonderful time! I had a simply exquisite fillet: the meat was incredibly tender, melting in the mouth, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care put into the dishes.
The lady was truly kind, with a rare courtesy and hospitality: she made us feel at home from the very first moment.
It was a truly enjoyable evening, and we'll definitely be back with great pleasure. Highly recommended! ❤️
PS: Very clean place.

22/02/2026: I visited Bar Ristorante Souvenir L'Incanto during a stop in Carrara and had a very pleasant experience. The place is simple yet elegant, with a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff was helpful and attentive without being intrusive, something that's not always the case these days.
The cuisine is authentic, with well-presented dishes and balanced portions. Good-quality ingredients, clear flavors without being overbearing, ideal for both a quick lunch or a more relaxed break. Prices are in line with the area and fair for what's offered. Overall, a reliable place, one I'd happily return to if I'm passing through Carrara and looking for something casual yet refined.

22/03/2026: The starters were sublime, the risotto was excellent but perhaps too heavy with celery which left a bit of an aftertaste... for the rest, it was top notch.
08/03/2026: The atmosphere can be both formal and informal. I ate fish, and I must say it was delicious. The staff were courteous, kind, and professional.

05/10/2025: A truly charming place. We stumbled upon it almost by chance and were treated like regulars. The handmade tordelli alla carrarina were truly delicious. It's not a trendy place, but a typical osteria where you can eat really well. Highly recommended, excellent value.
07/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from the Tuscan hinterland. Given the sheer choice, we decided to try several dishes, listening to the owner's expert advice. Superlative home-cooked dishes... a full stomach and a happy wallet! Highly recommended.

11/02/2026: While I was waiting for my change, they stole the 50 euro note I'd left in front of the cashier, and he later denied seeing the money even though it was right there in front of him. It was almost certainly the two girls who were standing in line "to pay," but who, without paying anything, walked out of the shop grinning shortly after. Things like this can happen, but a cashier pretending not to have seen anything is unacceptable.

26/10/2025: I ordered 400 grams of farinata more than an hour in advance, rightfully adjusting to the time slot based on the availability they gave me. When I picked it up, they weighed the farinata without letting me see how much it was, but they left a little in the pan, probably for a regular customer. Nothing wrong with that, except that they charged me just under 400 grams, and when I pointed this out, they told me it was a little less, with the giggle of a child caught stealing jam. Without objecting, I left, but at home, out of curiosity, I weighed it, and it was just over 250 grams. Now, if they want to keep their regular customers, that's fine with me, but I'm not going to let them make fun of me. Besides, placing a vase in front of the scale to hide the weight should be not only immoral but also illegal, if I'm not mistaken. And above all, the hysterical giggle of the clerk when I pointed this out was annoying.

14/12/2025: I didn't know the place had changed management. I recently returned after many years, and I have to say the crepes are truly delicious! The female staff is super organized and friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming and very clean. Highly recommended!

15/10/2025: This was a fantastic little place tucked away in the middle of nowhere in a little piazza serving the local delicacy Lard and other dishes. Extremely tasty, in an atmospheric courtyard with friendly staff. Possibly one of the oldest bars/trattorias in the area and filled with a cool ambiance. Well worth the trip for authentic regional food.
