24/03/2026: We went there today after reading the reviews. We're so glad we did. My wife enjoyed the fresh pasta with gamberoni imperial sauce, and I really liked the tagliata. The pasta was divine, and the meat was very tender and cooked perfectly. The desserts are very good.

03/05/2026: It's no longer called Pierrot but Marmarè. A nice, clean, and modern place run by enterprising young people. The staff is friendly and courteous. The lunch I tried at Lo Scoglio was excellent. The portion was tasty and generous. The ravioli alla carrarese were excellent, as was the sea bream. If I ever return (since I'm coming from Alba, near Cuneo), I'd love to try a nice grilled steak.

14/04/2026: My husband and I went there and had a truly wonderful time! I had a simply exquisite fillet: the meat was incredibly tender, melting in the mouth, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care put into the dishes. The lady was truly kind, with a rare courtesy and hospitality: she made us feel at home from the very first moment. It was a truly enjoyable evening, and we'll definitely be back with great pleasure. Highly recommended! ❤️ PS: Very clean place.

07/03/2026: A pastry shop with very friendly and courteous staff. The dining room is also available. Excellent coffee and delicious pastries and savory treats.

11/02/2026: While I was waiting for my change, they stole the 50 euro note I'd left in front of the cashier, and he later denied seeing the money even though it was right there in front of him. It was almost certainly the two girls who were standing in line "to pay," but who, without paying anything, walked out of the shop grinning shortly after. Things like this can happen, but a cashier pretending not to have seen anything is unacceptable.

06/05/2026: Rustic bar café in the mountains between the marble quarries. You basically drink your coffee here among the truck drivers who had been right on your tail on the narrow one-lane roads and through the tight tunnels leading up to the mines. As always, the drivers are under time pressure and seem to try breaking their own speed records every day – even with a car you can’t really keep up with how fast things move up here. The drive alone is already an experience. The tunnels are narrow and winding, almost like you’re on your way to Moria. Once you get up there, there’s really good coffee and a solid food menu. Pasta and other simple dishes – exactly what a truck driver needs on a break, or a tourist who’s accidentally ended up here. There are also plenty of marble souvenirs, some of them genuinely nice pieces. With the drive, the atmosphere of a real Italian working-class bar, and good coffee and food, the trip up here is definitely worth it. I really like it up here.

05/10/2025: A truly charming place. We stumbled upon it almost by chance and were treated like regulars. The handmade tordelli alla carrarina were truly delicious. It's not a trendy place, but a typical osteria where you can eat really well. Highly recommended, excellent value.

07/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from the Tuscan hinterland. Given the sheer choice, we decided to try several dishes, listening to the owner's expert advice. Superlative home-cooked dishes... a full stomach and a happy wallet! Highly recommended.
