26/02/2025: We had booked for 8pm. The food was brought to me at 9.10pm and at 9.30pm we were kicked out of the table, even rudely. If you work double shifts, at least have the decency to serve customers at a decent time, without sending them away with food still in their mouths. Good evening

08/03/2025: Location meravigliosa e personale simpatico e alla mano. Si mangia cucina casereccia e non ha nulla da invidiare ai ristoranti piú quotati. Si apprezza particolarmente d’estate e, in generale, nelle belle giornate primaverili per l’incantevole panorama. Consigliato

19/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo domenicale. Ordiniamo un antipasto e una grigliata mista. Ci viene detto che per la grigliata c’è da aspettare almeno mezz’ora per la cottura. Rispondiamo che non ci sono problemi. Dopo appena 10 minuti arriva la grigliata. 5 pezzi in croce, di cui 1 palesemente avanzato di una precedente grigliata e riscaldato. L’antipasto è arrivato dopo. Anche no grazie.

04/03/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale dopo un appuntamento di lavoro, siamo rimasti stupiti. Hanno una vetrina col pesce fresco esposto, abbiamo scelto degli scampi favolosi e un crudo di pesce veramente fresco. Ampia scelta di vini, anche etichette molto rare. Il personale alla mano, il cuoco ci ha fatto morire dal ridere e le ragazze al banco un amore. Se torniamo in toscana torneremo di sicuro.

10/03/2025: Mi spiace scrivere una review negativa per questo piccolo locale in cui in passato mi sono trovato bene ma spero sia utile per correggere diverse carenze. La principale si riferisce al servizio. Attese molto lunghe e soprattutto nessun piatto servito in contemporanea agli 8 commensali, con il risultato che qualcuno mangiava (per non far freddare le pietanze) e qualcuno stava a guardare. Quando detto non risulta giustificabile anche per il menù piuttosto ristretto nelle scelte e non particolarmente complesso nelle preparazioni.La mia opinione è che se si vuole fornire un servizio di qualità forse è meglio dimensionare i coperti con le capacità della cucina, altrimenti alla lunga si perdono clienti. Prezzi coerenti con la qualità dei piatti, buoni ma non eccelsi.

19/02/2025: Exceptional place! We were delighted by the massese tordelli and the suckling pig! You have to try it to believe it. The desserts are also delicious, especially the tart and the cantucci tiramisu. Adriana really pampered us. We will definitely be back.

27/10/2024: I'm not used to reviewing but today I feel offended by the name inn I expect tradition, warmth, friendliness and certainly good food, well today I didn't find all this. I'll start by saying that I go to colonnade often, we've been around almost all of them, the only thing missing was because I've never seen it because it's outside the center of the town, so for this reason I already had higher expectations since you have to go there with intention, apart from that we sit in a cold environment fluorescent green tablecloths staff not at all welcoming and already from there a little biased oh well but I think we will eat well, we order appetizers lard, cured meats and cheeses and a ravioli with meat sauce well the appetizers arrive and there I am immediately struck by the nervous lard that didn't taste like nothing (I'll start by saying that I know well, I'm not from Africa) Tuscan salami, bacon, three pieces of cheese without rind just so you don't know what type it was and sweets with mushrooms, bresaola, typical Apuan salami! What a disappointment then I tell myself I'll make up for it with the ravioli! Here they come, 8 ravioli which don't have a typical shape, but they weren't bad, but they weren't cold! If I can give you some advice given by a professional who has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, look again, it's so easy to improve, all it takes is a little more effort and who knows, take a look at the competition that perhaps you have to learn, then a reasoning comes naturally as is the competition ever full and you are not? I would like to have an answer and a discussion with you. I attach photos of the appetizer because I really wanted to show it so as not to be seen as a liar

23/09/2024: Everything was delicious, really good! Rustic and familiar environment that transmits passion and tradition, fast and never intrusive service. Omnipresent lard 😋🥰 From the appetizer to the coffee everything was perfect, highly recommended if you are visiting Colonnata.

11/01/2025: Returned after two years and it is always a pleasure to return....... The hand always remains the same, The food is truly excellent, in my opinion the tordelli are the best I have eaten The rice cake is unquestionably delicious....the staff are good and well prepared, congratulations to everyone, see you next time.

28/12/2024: Una certezza...in questo locale si respira professionalità e cortesia ! Siamo venuti più volte e non siamo stati mai delusi: buoni piatti di pesci, servizio rapido, attenzione per gli ospiti ( grazie a chiara ed a tutto lo staff di sala). Molte volte abbiamo preso anche piatti da asporto. Conto adeguato, location direttamente sul mare, sobria senza eccessi, ma efficiente. Consigliato prenotare specialmente nei week end, lo consiglio.

01/12/2024: A beautiful reality discovered after four years of residence in Carrara. The King's Bay is a restaurant bar with a few tables where you can enjoy fresh fish (caught only) made in every way by Vittorio but also excellent first courses and then....... the crudités!!!!! ??? The place is clean, the service is excellent and the staff friendly. Everything was excellent. The prices are compatible and in line with the quality of the products offered. Highly recommended for those who want to eat the catch of the day.

26/09/2024: Basic menu with poor choice, good but banal dishes, I was a little disappointed, honestly I expected that the photos of all the dishes I saw in the reviews were part of a single proposal, but instead they were made in multiple meals. I was even immediately told that to eat shellfish you have to book them in advance. Infinite sadness!

13/02/2025: Requested a crepe with Nutella and a pancake with dark chocolate and white chocolate. Half-empty place so it's difficult to get the order wrong... I received a crepe with I presume dark chocolate that was dry as a nail and was thrown away and the pancake with white chocolate and Nutella, too bad I'm allergic to hazelnuts, and fortunately from the color I realized that it wasn't dark chocolate. Never again

25/10/2024: Clean place, with a wide choice of various crêpes and piadinas. Very filling and at a great price! Well done.
