19/04/2026: We stayed two nights at the Villa Ambra Hotel, adjacent to the restaurant. We dined on Saturday evening, April 18th, and were very lucky to find a table. The restaurant was completely full, but this in no way affected the excellent quality of the food and service. We had an appetizer, two first courses (one of which was made with the day's specialty), a fried fish dish, and a dessert; these courses were accompanied by a glass of local white wine and a bottle of water. The service was precise and attentive, the food excellent, and the fish was very fresh. The dinner cost €80, or €40 per person; I'd say it was more than fair. A special mention goes to the first course of the day: homemade pici with mussel and bottarga carbonara, served with lemon zest. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: We visited this restaurant yesterday and had a truly positive experience. The owners were extremely kind and knowledgeable, but what struck us most was their genuine passion for their work: it shines through in every detail, from the service to the descriptions of the dishes. The menu is simple, with just a few options, but carefully curated. Each dish is unique, refined, and unlike anything else you'll find elsewhere. There's a strong identity and a commitment to quality ingredients. A distinctive feature is their artisanal amaro, called "Amargo," which we also purchased to take home. It's inspired by the history of the Spanish occupation, a detail that adds character and depth to the experience. The quality-price ratio is absolutely right, in line with what's on offer. What we most enjoyed, however, is the atmosphere: we felt welcomed and at home. It's a place you'll gladly return to, not just for the food, but for the humanity that accompanies it.

05/04/2026: An unexpected discovery on Easter Saturday! A packed restaurant where the staff never makes you feel like a number, but takes care of you without losing their smile. A big thank you to Salu, who looked after our table. We chose from the menu (no pizza), and the dishes were excellent, especially the quality of the fillet steak with green peppercorns. They also have a good selection of wines at truly fair prices. Excellent value for money, and the service is fast and professional without being stuffy. You don't expect all this from a pizzeria!

16/04/2026: I've been coming here at least once a year for 25 years...never disappointed.

10/04/2026: Today for 4 people: seafood appetizer for 4, seafood rice for 4, and a platter of fried calamari for 2 divided between 4. Cafe 2 bottles of house white wine.... 60 euros each..= 240 euros..let's forget it, next time it's better to spend 60 euros each in Porto Santo Stefano even for just 1 plate of anchovies rather than spending it on a place overlooking the platforms.

01/10/2025: The pizza was very good, the service was fast and attentive. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately the place isn't very spacious, so you're either sitting near the bathroom where there's a lot of traffic, or near the refrigerator where the engine noise is heard. Overall, I think it's a good place, and I'd go back for the quality of the pizza.

08/04/2026: Excellent experience. The two of us ordered two first courses, a fried fish to share, a liter of house wine (excellent), and two coffees, spending €40 each. Given the quality of the food and service, I'd say it's a very good value. Recommended!

24/03/2026: The place is meticulously crafted, with meticulous attention to detail and a superb atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and we had a wonderful time. The pici were extraordinary, as were the homemade gnocchi. The fried food was fantastic, and the sautéed artichokes were the bomb. We highly recommend them.
