19/08/2026: I had dinner at this pizzeria, which has a wood-fired oven. I only tried the pizzas, but they also had appetizers, fried foods, and desserts. I want to give special praise to the waitress who came to our table and asked if we wanted to order. If she had gone outside to take our orders, we would have had a very long wait. We appreciate their kindness, and after ordering, we already had our pizzas shortly after. They were so kind that we were able to use the time to go for a walk. The prices are good, especially for a seaside location. The ingredients are good quality. I recommend it.

19/08/2026: Last night we went to Pizzeria Vesuvio in Follonica. There were 10 of us, and we had a great time! We had both seafood appetizers and pizzas, and everything was delicious. The prices were truly excellent, spending just over €20 each! The atmosphere was cheerful and family-friendly, with the owners and waiters all incredibly friendly, approachable, and kind. They made us feel at home right away, and we even had a lot of laughs. We also really appreciated the attention given to our dogs; as soon as we arrived, they brought us water right away without even having to ask. You can also taste the quality of the products, with ingredients sourced directly from Naples. A truly wonderful evening, excellent food, very fair prices, and fantastic people. We'll definitely be back!

27/08/2026: Unfortunately, everything was a 0. Honodinado ordered a pizza at 8:00 PM, telling me it would arrive at 9:15 PM. At 9:20 PM, I called and they told me it was on its way. At 9:30 PM, I called again and the pizzas were coming out of the oven. I asked for the pizza with buffalo mozzarella to be marked because my son is allergic to lactose, and it wasn't. If that's a service! The bottom line is, the pizzas arrived at 10:50 PM, 35 minutes late. In the end, my son had to eat something else because of the delay, because I would have taken him to the emergency room because the buffalo mozzarella hadn't been marked as I requested.

24/08/2026: I've bought takeout pizzas by chance, but... after the first time, I've had them a few more times. They're delicious, they're always on time, and once I even asked for an extra one upon arrival, and they delivered it for me. They were fantastic. Whenever I'm craving pizza, it's definitely at Pirata 2.

10/08/2026: A total disappointment. We ordered four pizzas and waited over an hour and a half. After asking several times, they finally told us they'd completely forgotten our order. We were traveling with a small child, who was very tired and hungry, and they promised us her pizza would arrive first: it arrived last. Extremely slow and disorganized service. We'd ordered sparkling water, but they brought us still water. The pizzas were also very disappointing: the Marinara had olives that weren't listed on the menu, while the Prosciutto e Funghi had preserved mushrooms instead of fresh ones. As for the pizzas, unfortunately, they were among the worst we've had in Italy. A truly negative experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

05/08/2026: I Rigatteri is a simple and welcoming restaurant located within Eden Park, right across from the pine forest. The setting is very humble and convivial, ideal for those seeking a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The strong points are undoubtedly the generous portions and the quality of the dishes, all very tasty. All this at excellent prices, offering a truly unique value. The only area that could be improved is the service, which was a bit slow during our visit. Nothing serious, but with shorter wait times, the experience would have been even better. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well, spend a fair amount, and enjoy a casual atmosphere.

29/07/2026: Appetizer: seafood salad. Lots of dressing and lots of onions, making it hard to distinguish flavors or perceive freshness. I try spaghetti with clams. The worst I've ever had in a restaurant; the clams and pasta are flavorless. The spaghetti is piping hot but not well combined, probably precooked. Zero flavor. I respect the work of others, and a bad night can happen, but I paid 37 euros for these two dishes and a bottle of water without complaining. I didn't feel respected, because there's a limit to everything.

20/08/2026: I came for dinner with my family. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was very attentive and pleasant. The menu had some issues (some mussels were a little overcooked in the pepper sauce, the portions of the first courses were a bit small, and the fried food could be improved), but overall, even considering the affordable price, it was a more than decent experience.

15/08/2026: We had a reservation... They offered us a non-alcoholic aperitif, without appetizers, for 6 euros. The hot seafood appetizer was made with dry bread from the day before. Crostini were not moist and had little seasoning. Let's forget about the mussels and clams... The shrimp and clam gnocchi were tasteless, with only one shrimp in the entire dish and arrived cold. Let's just say it's very difficult to get these things wrong... The spaghetti with clams was just three strands of pasta on a nice, large plate. The price was exorbitant. The only positive note was the wine, which was good and of good quality. The waiters were very polite. I wouldn't repeat the experience.

12/08/2026: I've been coming to the seaside in Follonica for years, and I've realized that finding a good place to make bread is very difficult. I think in Tuscany, bread is practically a religion unto itself, and each province has its own characteristics. For me, born in the province of Arezzo, a panaccio Fiornetino or a bozza Pratese, for example, are not very popular, and even in Maremma I've found it a bit difficult to find bread and leavened products that match my tastes. Well, for me, your bread is among the best I've had here in Follonica, and your pastries are definitely the best. For those who read the reviews and have never been here, know that the place is divided into two: one for eat-in and one for takeout, where you can find an endless supply of croissants, bread, and other baked goods. It's convenient, and I get the impression that the staff is more comfortable navigating the two counters and the lab, or at least, the last time I was there, I noticed a lot of ease in their operations. Quick and precise hands, a team spirit, and attentiveness. I don't do it often, but it's a pleasure to stop by and pick up croissants for the family breakfast, and I love that they can also be filled on the spot. I've always found them courteous, professional, and exceptional products.
